I agree with you, if you want to invest safely, rather than having to bother choosing lots of coins by doing research, you can buy bitcoin when the price of bitcoin is still low and hold it for the long term. For altcoin choices, we can buy ethereum, BNB and Solana

Its most safer altcoin for holding between Ethereum and BNB because both coins easily recovery back to higher price after getting dump. I remember with Ethereum almost down under $1k but since bitcoin success reach new higher price get up again almost raise to $4k and currently stuck around $3k.
The same scenario with BNB, after dropping under $150 and right now get amazing increasing price after recovering up to $600. I think both altcoin easily and faster recovery difference with other altcoin difficult return back to higher price.

A new class action lawsuit was initiated against the San Francisco-based cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase on May 3. According to legal documents submitted in California, a collective of crypto investors alleges financial losses from their investments in various crypto assets. The members of the class action maintain that their “suffered investment losses” stem directly from Coinbase’s conduct.

“Coinbase itself marketed and sold the digital asset securities to plaintiffs and the class as ‘investments,’” the court filing declares.

The lawsuit states that every state across the nation regulates the sale of securities and broker-dealers. “Coinbase has failed to register those persons offering and selling the Coinbase digital asset securities as associated persons of a broker-dealer and has failed to register as a broker-dealer with the SEC, Florida, California, or any other state,” the lawsuit adds.

The legal document asserts that the plaintiffs’ attorneys have utilized the Howey Test on various digital assets, such as algorand (ALGO), decentraland (MANA), polygon (MATIC), near protocol (NEAR), uniswap (UNI), and solana (SOL). For example, the allegations by the plaintiffs suggest that investors in UNI “expected to earn profits through the appreciation in value of their UNI tokens.”

Yet, the lawsuit interestingly omits any reference to UNI’s role as a governance token. The plaintiffs are seeking a favorable ruling from the court to nullify their purchase or sale contracts with Coinbase and to reclaim losses, including the fees incurred under those agreements. The class action comes amidst the firm’s ongoing court battle with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

So it's exactly what it looks like it - the lawyers are using the excuse of "unregistered securities" for their clients who traded degen coins and lost their money, so that they can get it back.

So my hunch is, expect this to not succeed, Coinbase will probably get this thrown out.

Зачем берут по предзаказу Solana Saga - вообще ни для кого не секрет, вложенные деньги окупаются (и даже с профитом) на солановских дропах. Это весь секрет, никаких других факторов попросту нет. Сам аппарат - он ведь постольку-постольку, ибо это рядовой ведроид с добавкой проприетарного ПО от означенного проекта и с железом чуть выше среднего уровня (Saga 1) и с железом скорей всего совсем середняковым - Saga 2.

Но что должен будет уметь телефон от проектов сообщества ТОН? У меня фантазия хромает, что там должно быть, чтобы быть на порядок круче?
Да и в любом случае, ждать телефон год по предзаказу (какие бы чудеса там не обещали) люди будут только в одном маркетинговом случае - дропы, компенсирующие деньги и время ожидания. Да и железо за год устареет, если не морально, то уж подешевеет точно. Новинки прошлого года сейчас стоят процентов на 30-40 меньше, чем при выходе.

Тут просто сравнение. Берем условный крипто телефон от проекта Trader Joe (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=315671.msg1474464#msg1474464) - для меня это вообще непонятная контора и более того - абсолютно непонятно что они могут туда прикрутить криптанского.

Но я хорошо знаю некоторых разрабов из экосистемы TON - очень крутые технари с хорошими деньгами и мозгами + многие партнерятся между собою и выпускают совместные игры\токены\приложухи = есть где разогнаться и есть чем заинтересовать рядового пользователя. Как показала практика, сами разрабы TON (мейн разрабы) мотивируют других запускать новые продукты и т.д., выделяют деньги на активности.

Простыми словами, это мое имхо. Но опять же, для обычного "позвонить" мне хватает китайца...а это так, игрушка)
