I have 500 USDT. What should I put my money in altcoin/token wise?

Hi there forum. My dad and I decided to see if we could take advantage of the current market dips. We are aiming for a passive investment and possibly passive income type token.  I understand basic cryptocurrency theory and also bits and bobs on how Defi works.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do with 500 USDT at this time in the market? I know this a vague question and I may be waffling, but I might as well start communicating with others on the forum and get some insights. I was thinking of putting all of my money into a DeFi token but im not so sure.

What altcoins / tokens are you all watching closely right now? And if you had 500USDT, where would you put that to use?

I'm certainly bullish on BNB especially. Recent news that Binance has overtaken Coinbase in holdings of BTC and lots being built on BSC as well.

I probably would have bought BnB and your amount would give you about 2 BNB and put them in the Binan Vault, this is what I am actually doing just to hold them there and get additional coins/tokens that my account qualifies for just by Holding BNB in that vault plus might still get additional BNB plus  BNB is a good investment for mid or long term.

500 is a good amount to start investing in cryptocurrency Ensure that this is your free money, not money ex[ected to be multiple time amounts in the future and you are not ready for losing.
Btw, if I have that $500,  will invest it in Bitcoin or BNB which are the top cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is of course very worthy because t may have higher price up again after halving

This coin is very suitable for a beginner in Cryptocurrency Investment, has a very small risk of loss. 
Because even if there is a decline, the three coins will never die and the potential for a higher rise is always there.

Yeah, I agree we should buy the dip than hold at bearish.
If we have big fund , maybe hold is better to do.

With that amount, it's better to deposit it in the binance exchange, but always if you don't have an account on the binance platform, make a free signup first, as long as you verify it first so there's no problem. After everything is okay, and your 500$ has been deposited first, it's good to put it in stakes, just buy it if you lock it up for a few months, then after you wait for that period, no matter how you grow, your money is safe.
