If we compare with popularity, Ethereum is far ahead than Cardano. Ethereum is the best altcoins so far in cryptocurrency world which is the pioneer of Blockchain 2.0. No altcoin is same popular as Ethereum. But ADA is preferrable for short and long term investment not in perspective of popularity.

Maybe cardano is better for technology, but not better for popularity. Ethereum is the king of smart contract platform, we will know no coin can replace Ethereum now. Ethereum is going strong and I see many people have waited Ethereum 2.0. it has launched ,but not much effect.

Both Cardano and Etherium are potential currencies. Cardano is the pioneer of blockchain 3.0 in the crypto industry and Ethereum still has version 1.0 which has started the cause of version 2.0 implementation. If we compare with popularity, Ethereum is far ahead than Cardano. Ethereum is the best altcoins so far in cryptocurrency world which is the pioneer of Blockchain 2.0. No altcoin is same popular as Ethereum. But ADA is preferrable for short and long term investment not in perspective of popularity.

I think both projects are great platforms and has great future. Cardano is still in its infancy, and it will take time for it to catch up to Ethereum in other ways. Ethereum has the first-mover advantage over Cardano, so while the two may share many features, Ethereum has a longer track record and is more popular among users right now.
However, this doesn't necessarily mean Cardano won't be able to catch up to Ethereum in the future, though. Cardano has grown tremendously over the past year in terms of transaction volume and market capitalization, and if it continues finding ways to improve, it could have an edge over Ethereum. I think with time in near future Cardano may catch up with Ethereum.

Yeah, I think you're right. Cardano team has launched smart contract platform.
I think Cardano is very potential to beat Ethereum at the coming future, although Ethereum is the biggest but If their team don't solve gas fee problem, Other smart contract like Cradano, BNB that faster and cheaper transaction will overtake Ethereum.

I think I would prefer ADA(Cardano) the reason may be superficial for other members here but that's what I see and I think I'm right, that's just me. This is because its price is cheaper than ETH. Which, once the bull run starts again in the market there is a big chance for ADA to spike its price for sure.

The best is not only because of the rank position in CMC, it could be the uses and benefits. We know that ethereum is number two in CMC but the gas fees are high, this is what makes people switch to alternative smart chains such as binance smart chain, solana etc. So the best is the one that is useful and doesn't cost expensive gas fees in my opinion

Yes indeed cardano offers unique proof of stake consensus of the mechanisms.. Ethereum struggle when transaction high on volume. They' can handle on it ,but when millions of investors gets into Ethereum they' can't keep up. Yes there's faults in cordano but faults.
