Unfortunately my "show unread posts since last visit / show new replies to your posts" links disappeared, many many months ago now.
This is how dragononcrypto account looks like on the mainpage:

this is how dragonvslinux account looks like on the mainpage:

my mod account is clearly missing the "Hello dragononcrypto" + links. i assumed it was an issue with the account as never found any setting to return this option, and it vanished one day without me changing anything, over a year ago now :-\ any other users or mods also missing this ??

I know right, it's much better. It's like a normal forum thing, means you can follow discussions you are engaged in.

No idea, one day I woke up and it was gone. Around the same time I started to be less active in discussions :P
Can't believe it took me this long to use the action=unreadreplies link ::)

There are similar cases like this but it is not the display of the main page but how to writing of sentence in the forum. You can check it here

If it only effects me, and I'm now using a link to get around the problem, I think it's no big deal.
If this effects others users, then I'd say it needs fixing asap. But so far....
