I've blocked user Dushanya (@Artanovskaya)

for fraud, blackmail, extortion, theft of funds in the Free TON project.
She stole 90K TON (~$54K).
Unfortunately, it's true, later I will give a link to the official information from the Free TON project. An investigation is underway.
I am requesting an official ban for this user - after providing links to the results of the investigation. They will be there in a few days.

i am not sure how we should approach this issue
as it is setting a precedent
the accused have taken an action outside the forum,
thus as i suggested to heyod we will need the widest debate on this issue, hopefully also get the results of investigation
and ideally allow the accused to express his/her point
then another issue, is what appropriate action should be given, what btt do in these cases usually ?
a lot of discussion is needed, because as i said, this is setting a precedent .

the fact that she changed the name is a hint that she is indeed guilty, but probably best would be to wait for the ton investigation, if they could bring the results of investig to court that would be ideal,
i would suggest to create a special rank allowing her to answer accusations while being labeled as a an accused
the judges then decide on punishment
should we adopt ban (even if it's done somewhere else) or a special tag to warn users (a bit like the trust system in btt)

Best to wait for sure as mnixxo said, proof is still required here for judgement.
As you said, if guilty then special tag might be better. Incommunicado comes to mind, has been a while. With guilty tag, ban from posting in bounties, marketplace and advertising might be more appropriate than complete ban? Ban from trading seems to be what's required at least.
It's up to the judges, but the possibilities are endless... I'd like to think.
Tag for accused seems appropriate for time being, accusations come from strong sources it seems.

Change the name is something usual in the forum. There is no specific correlation to the case.
Also, it isn't the strong proof to ban someone, mate. There should be some stronger proofs.

If the purpose to warn users, give "a special tag" seems more appropriate to apply on this case.
If we ban her, most members probably do not know this case.

This is quite strong evidence of the fact of the theft of funds by Daria Artanovskaya aka Dushanya.
"This is of course very bad news, and Daria turned out to be little more than a thief, a lowlife, and basically just a street level criminal that deserves zero respect. This is typical behavior for someone absolutely incapable of professionalism or creating anything of value based on any talent or wits, but instead resorts to theft as the only means to find “success”. Essentially a talentless, valueless person who wouldn’t be qualified do much more than clean bus station bathrooms were it not for her affinity to steal. Not a person who would get anywhere in civilized society. Quite a disgusting character. She and whoever helped her. Pathetic people. I feel sorry for individuals like this. They have no future.
That being said, this of course should rectified. It’s not the contestants’ faults. They just did what they were supposed to do. It should go to a vote to global gov and be remedied.
But I personally do have very serious concerns about this subgov (as well as a few others). There needs to be a very diverse group of people who are responsible for the multisig.
In summary, the contestants must get their tokens. The subgov needs to be frozen until it is thoroughly reformed and properly structured. This is now the 2nd Ambassador-like subgov that has proven to be severely flawed."

Good call, I've also reduced the warning level another -20%, as not being able to posts temporarily seems redundant.
With Dushanya in 3 strikes group, any posts will already be administrated by admin/president, not even moderated...

What amount of -karma you think would be appropriate? The Judges have given their judgements, but I've still yet to punish her.
Either way, the account looks completely burnt so doesn't really matter in my opinion...

Two Judges already made a decision based on appropriate membership group. As a Council member, I'm allowing two Senators to now propose the amount of -karma they feel is appropriate to distribute. Personally a reset to zero feels like the obvious answer here, similar to the multi-accounts engaging in election fraud.
I already took back -5 that I'd given over the years, but a suspicious 3 strikes member on +XXX makes no sense to me. Also, since no-one else has addressed the destruction of potential evidence that Dushanaya engaged in (see mod logs), I'm willing to take action on that.
It wouldn't be the first time I've reset a users karma to 0, it won't be the last, they can also appeal to Judges if they feel my decision is unfair.

The evidence of the theft and public accusations will not be published, as the project management is afraid of spread and loss of reputation. That does not negate the fact of theft, which everyone knows about.

i guess once decision made by the judges the user can be labeled as a scammer , with the big scam logo,
as an alternative to banning, and as president said, either way the account is burned.
but this would allow us to avoid ban based on actions done somewhere.
can we get the accuser to join the forum, and post the accusations directly, then if we can track the trx on chain
we would be left with a link to the accusation thread on the free ton site.

She is already labelled as scammer. I did it yesterday. Also her karma will be changed soon.
