Title: Ways to reduce Ethereum's gas fee
Post by: Criminal on June 14, 2021, 07:01:38 AM
Those of us who are Airdrop and Bounty Hunter have a lot of tokens in our wallets that we can't exchange for a fee. Yesterday I could not even make a deposit in a token exchange because of the fee. The token cost 20, but when I went to send it, the Etherium gas fee was over 35.  Due to which it was not sent.  Later I was waiting to see when the Ethereum gas fee could be reduced.
Later I figured out a way out of it.  I am sharing it with you.  I hope you will come in handy.

Those of you who have a token in MyEtherWallet but can't send it for a fee.  They will try to send tokens between 2pm and 8am.  Because, then the transaction of Etherium is much less and the pressure on Etherium blockchain is less.  Because of that gwei is also much less.  Because of that, there are other times of the day where the fee is more than 30 to  40.  Tokens can be sent there during this time (2pm to 8am) for a fee of  4 to 5.

You can probably wait for the Eth gas fees to go down before you can send your token if you don't have enough fund on your Eth wallet to send your token to exchange in order to be able to sell, like most of us that already have some of our token on eth wallet you can wait may the gas fees on gewi to reduce to what is in your Eth wallet before it can successfully go through.

I don't have solution about this but many bounty hunter try use FTX to send more eth into myetherwallet for successful transactions. Second thing is join bounty or airdrop that already have wallet ( not use MEW ), so we can reduce by use another network. Keep wait is the best we can do but there's risk eth will rise again and 2.0 not release, nightmare for all of us.

After GMT 00:00, Gas fees become relatively lower than last few hours. This time the number of transactions decreases, so the gas also decreases. If you follow this rules, you can send ETH and ERC20 tokens with lower fees. Basically the day, when any IDO site has new IDO participation, it increases gas fees due to gas war among the participants but later fees decrease.

After a lot of impact on Ethereum Price due to Ethereum's high transaction fees. At present, Ethereum's transaction fees have come down to investors and Ethereum has increased. Bounty hunters in particular have benefited the most because the amount of protein available by bounty or airdrop would have been higher than the transaction fee. But now that the transaction fee has come down, Bounty Hunters have benefited. But Etherium Price has risen as transaction fees have come down.

Ethereum gas fees are currently much lower.  Because when the price of all the coins in the cryptocurrency went up, the amount of gas went up overnight.  The biggest problem was having to spend a huge amount of gas fee to do the talking tennis.  But now there is a general exemption from gas fees.

Recently, the price of gas has dropped very much, since the correction of the cryptocurrency market has been going on for some time and most likely people make fewer transactions through the Ethereum blockchain and therefore the Ethereum network has not been overloaded lately, and in general, usually in the late afternoon or at night by European time, the gas price is always minimal.

Ethereum transaction fees have dropped sharply.  But whenever the Bitcoin price has dropped, the Ethereum price has dropped drastically. Even then, we found that Ethereum's additional transaction fees had a detrimental effect on Ethereum prices. Whenever the Ethereum transaction fee came down then but the Etherium price pumped up massively. The reduction in Ethereum transaction fees has made Ethereum Bounty Hunter and Investor better for everyone.

I think Ethereum transaction fee is coming to a much normal level Today I noticed the point when depositing some tokens However, I do not know whether the transaction fee of Etherium can be the same as before. Because the price of Ethereum is much higher than before when Ethereum transaction was less free.Of course the Etherium platform will solve this problem

Ethereum gas fees are now a little lower than before.  We saw a few days ago that the price of Ethereum coins in the cryptocurrency market went up a lot.  Ethereum gas free now cuts much less.  There are currently many gas free discounts.

Actually, the gas fee of the Ethereum platform is always changing. The best way to make it in the low fee for transferring tokens is that we can check at first the gas fee on the https://ethgasstation.info/.
recently, the gas fee is very low, only around 5 Gwei, so great to know this

Compared to what Binance Smart Chain is charging for each transaction,  what is happening in Ethereum is kind of a big joke that no one is laughing no not even Vitalik Buterin. As to why it took so long for the network to fixed this problem is beyond my understanding...heck there is even no temporary and real remedy even granted by Ethereum. this is like making their miners get rich at the expense of small users of their network. Again, no one is laughing and we are not all happy.

Yes, I think gas fee depends on the price of ethereum.
I see Ethereum is recovering again now, I believe gas fee will go up again.
I don't think about how to reduce gas fee, alternate smart contract platform is the best solution.

St that moment the fee of ERC20 coins is very high. But right now, the gas fee has been decreasing as long as the good news and BSC comparison. We can see this fallen fee is a good chance for ERC2o to ensure all users and also developers.

The London update is the name for a set of upgrades which are due to go live on the Ethereum blockchain at the start of August. The update features five individual upgrades, each known as an Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP). Together these EIPs will make Ethereum cheaper to use and reduce the supply of ETH, while simultaneously increasing demand.

It is certain that the GAS fee from Ethereum should be reduced because this transaction fee will greatly affect the full support of Ethereum, the higher the GAS price of Ethereum transactions, the more cryptocurrency lovers will leave behind.
And I'm sure that someday Ethereum will become something that is in great demand by all and if the GAS of transactions gets higher then that interest will fade.

Ethereum update EIP-1559 should reduce fees. Miners were largely responsible for the huge fees and they'd pay a ridiculous tx fee and mine their own tx block and get their money back along with all the other txs they kind of forced to pay high fees.
The new update has a burn for every block so miners would lose more of their money if they kept doing this as well as a new fee Algo that works in a more fixed rate way.

As EIP 1559 through london hardfork will be implemented within almost 17 hours from now (https://etherscan.io/block/countdown/12965000), hopefully eth lovers won't need to search the ways to reduce gas fee on ethereum after that. Lets just wait for the successful implemention of EIP1559 and more hype will be created on the ethereum community.  ;D

Many people also waited Ethereum 2.0 will have good solution, but until now, doesn't good effect.

Ethereum gas fees are already reduced, bro.
I think we have no problems with Ethereum gas fees anymore. The price of gas fees seems okay for now. Even the price of Ethereum gas fees has decreased very significantly lately. It is very different from the gas fees several months ago, the price doesn't make sense.

The only way to get a reduced gas fee is by always checking the gas fee at the current time in order to get the lowest rate.
So far, the gas fee is still low compared to several months ago. It is still no more than 40 gwei although it seems higher than several weeks ago. We can also use the standard or low transaction fee. But it has risks that the transaction will be slow enough

Well, fee is really high this days much more that ethereum is the top with a really big price today per ethereum. When I'm sending token to other address I usually wait to reduce the fee. When market is congested the fee is high and in order to have a big change of success.

No way to reduce gas free, because It depends on traffic.
For now, gas fee is.lower.

Well, it seems that something has gone wrong with "London" or that the community has misunderstood things, because 24 days after (August 5) its implementation on the mainnet, the transaction fees have not only not decreased, but they continue to increase. During a margin of hours it is reduced a lot, but for a short time, so you have to be very attentive.

It has been a long time since tokens could not be sold on the Etherium platform because the amount of gas fee is too high.  It can be noticed that the popularity of etherium coins is decreasing day by day due to the popularity of gas fees.  Because the biggest obstacle is the gas fee.  While the amount of gas fee in Ethereum coins will be normal, its popularity will definitely increase day by day.

I think still possible if you always check gas fee every time. gas fee will high when high traffic.
You can choose at the time when the traffic go down.
Many trader and investors always confused about this problem. me too.

The biggest problem among cryptocurrency users is the additional Ethereum network's transaction fees. The network fee for transferring any type of token on Ethereum platform is very high.Gas is a fundamental element of Ethereum. Simply put, it’s the amount of ETH that users pay to perform an activity on the Ethereum network.

On a more technical level, gas is a unit of measurement that tracks how much it costs to execute computation for a specific action on Ethereum, like sending ETH, trading a DeFi token, minting an NFT, or deploying a smart contract.

We used to expect EIP-1559 but it didn't help. ETH2.0 will be the best solution when sharding is used to increase transaction speed and reduce transaction fees. Hope Ethereum can execute it as planned, otherwise BSC, Solana and Cardano will replace Ethereum.

The price of etherium has increased tremendously in the current market but the gas free of the etherium platform has not yet slept but has been further increased. Due to which investors are facing many problems to invest from Ethereum platform. I think Etherium is a good platform so its transaction free should be reduced a bit at present.

One thing I have noticed at the present time is that Ethereum transaction fees are the highest. I went to a token sale yesterday and saw that the amount of dollars I could sell would cost about half the transaction fee. I think the Ethereum price will go up whenever the transaction fee goes down. That is why the price of Bitcoin is only increasing. The price of Etherium has remained the same as it was.

Ethereum's gas fees are currently the biggest concern for everyone, especially the tiny bounty hunters.(Ethereum) Gas is the fee paid for executing transactions on the Ethereum blockchain. Anything involving ERC-20 tokens (Ethereum-based tokens) requires spending small amounts of ETH for gas.Now one has to pay 20 to 25$ gas fees as a transaction to transfer from one platform to another.

The biggest problem of the present time is that the etherium transaction fee is extra high. That's why Bounty Hunters are losing money because of the high transaction fees on the Etherium platform to sell any tokens. Bounty Hunters will suffer the most if the transaction fee is charged in this way.‌ I believe that the Etherium transaction fee will be reduced as before.

Until this moment, there is no way to reduce GAS fees on Ethereum because more and more people send Ethereum coins, the more expensive the price will be because Ethereum's blockchain is so dense.
Maybe the only way is that we have to wait for the Ethereum GAS fee to drop because sometimes when the network is empty, sending Ethereum coins is cheap.

As demand on the Ethereum blockchain has rapidly increased due to the success of decentralized finance (DeFi), the blockchain itself has become strained. With this strain, gas fees have become astronomical; at times costing more than a wire transfer.

That's right, the Ethereum gas price goes up and down like the price of the Ethereum coin. The rise and fall of Gas prices is influenced by the density of traffic on the Ethereum Blockchain.  But the problem is, sometimes we have to transfer tokens as soon as possible, so it's impossible to wait for the gas to drop first.

Etherium is a popular platform. This platform is currently far ahead in cryptocurrency. However, the biggest problem with this platform is network free. To invest in this platform you need the most network free. Which is why investors have to read the most problems. So I would say that if the Ethereum platform's network is reduced to free then maybe in the future this platform will be forced to lose popularity.

Ethereum gas fee is devastating to all of us small people in crypto Ethereum blockchain. We cannot do transactions even just to send tokens because of high gas fee. Sometimes we can if we have enough Eth for gas fee. But mostly we don't have enough money for this. The only solution we have is to hold and wait the token to pump. I think time between 2 to 8 pm would be nice to experience less gas fee.

I don't think that's how Ethereum's transactions can be brought under control. The Sitaram platform has a lot of tokens which but I am not able to transact so far just because of its extra transactions.

Lowering the GAS Ethereum transaction fee is not as easy as we breathe fresh air in the morning but to reduce the GAS Ethereum fee it is very difficult and you have to be patient to find the best way to send ERC20 or Ethereum tokens.
Until this moment I haven't looked back for the cheapest Ethereum GAS fee of around 10 Gwei because it hasn't been seen on Etherscan and it's really scary for me if I have ERC20 tokens to sell or send that require GAS costs above 50 USD.

If I transfer my ERC 20 based token from my wallet to another third parties wallet ,it requires huge amounts of Ethereum network fees . When I exchange in uniswap then it requires double Ethereum network fees that is very difficult to trade.

The problem of high transaction fees on the Ethereum chain is something that will accompany us until the launch of ETH 2.0, since as we have seen the last hardforks have not had the effect that the community expected and the #DevelopmentTeam  has also not provided much additional information on this fact. On the web https://etherscan.io/gastracker we can see at all times the cost of an ERC-20 transfer and one to Uniswap, all information on the web is automatically updated every 10 seconds so if you are vigilant, you can know what is the best time to transact.

The most popular platform in cryptocurrency is the Etherium platform. These platforms are the best and their ecosystems are very strong. Due to which the value of coins of this platform is always higher in the market. However, one of the biggest problems of Ethereum platform is that Ethereum platform transactions are free. Currently investors are very worried about this transaction free. Because most of the network free is required in all transactions.

Ethereum is the second largest token in the world today. Its price is skyrocketing and so is its popularity There are plenty of them but one major problem that is not found in any other store is that these tokens have to pay a lot of gas fees which is a lot for small traders.Having to face losses. And the popularity of this gas free source is declining a bit.But the good thing about e-tokens is that they have their own platform of tokens and still But it is lagging behind in charging huge gas fees.

the gas fee for making transactions on the ethereum network is indeed a very important problem because when viewed from bitcoin which has a higher price than ethereum but is still able to provide low fees, so many traders consider making transactions on the ethereum network.

Yes, Gas will be lower at GMT 00:00, But the coins price are also lower.
I think It will be the big problems, if we want to sell coins at the right time , but the gas fee is so high
Hopefully the Ethereum team have good solution for.their classic problem, gas fee is so high.

I think it's a coincidence, and in a certain period of time it's hard to catch a cheap gas fee, because Ethereum is used all over the world, and the time period may be different, somewhere it's daylight, and someone has a late night.

Ways to reduce Ethereum's gas fee. Ethereum's network fee is very high, so it is very difficult to transact any Ethereum network token because if you send 20$, the network fee is 30$, in which case the loss is more than the profit. So there are several ways to reduce network fees.
1. It is possible to reduce the network fee by adding Ethereum Wallet T Trust Wallet.
2. It is possible to reduce the network fee much more by adding Metamask to the private key of Etherium Wallet.

In this way, if it is added to multiple wallets, it is possible to reduce the network fee.

For now if the token price is $50 then I don't think it will be profitable because shipping costs are still high, low gastracker currently shows 130Gwei and it's still expensive, although if I convert it to usdt the cost is over $11, at some point the gwei will decrease , but need a little patience as the ether network is really busy at the moment.

I think to be able to make a reduction in gas costs from ethereum, you have to decrease the price of ethereum, because the ethereum exchange rate is getting more expensive and the density of transactions is making gas costs increase and become expensive because the ethereum exchange rate also increases. if the price of ethereum collapses then gas costs will be cheap.

There is no other way to lower the GAS Ethereum fee unless the transactions on the Ethereum blockchain are low on demand, so the network is empty and not full.
The fuller the transaction, the more expensive the GAS transaction fee, causing something called the uncertainty of the GAS transaction fee and this is really very sad.

In order to reduce the transaction fee, you need to update the platform or do something else. But while the transaction on the network will be the same, due to the popularity of the network, the transaction will only grow, only in one case it will be less when the price of Ether will not be so high.

Personally, I will wait for the Gas price to drop a little before making a transaction on the Ethereum network, because the Ethereum Gas fee changes all the time.

Now I don't think if that timezone is worth to do transaction, the gas is still high and I can't afford.. it's really insane I cannot send the token to the exchange due to high fees.. My tokens stuck in my myetherwallet so there is no hope to transfer it because the token value is the same of the gas fee.

We used to expect EIP-1559 but it didn't help. ETH2.0 will be the best solution when sharding is used to increase transaction speed and reduce transaction fees. Hope Ethereum can execute it as planned, otherwise BSC, Solana and Cardano will replace Ethereum.

Recently Ethereum's gas fee has been declining occasionally. I saw 54 gwei once yesterday. After a long time, it was really nice to see Ethereum's gas fee below 60 gwei.  However, the gas fee is not always the same. Most of the time it stays close to 100 gwei.

The amount of the transaction fees is predetermined by the use of the network. Now the Ethereum network is used less due to falling market prices, making it cheaper than in previous weeks.

ERC20 Transfer: $11.18
Uniswap Swap: $34.39
Uniswap Add/Remove LP: $30.09

Those are the current values for each type of transfer or withdrawal. I think the best we can do is visit https://etherscan.io/gastracker before making each transaction so as not to be surprised.

One of the reasons for reduction of ETH's gas fee is that very few new projects are being launched on this network. As a result, the saturation of this network is decreasing. Hopefully ETH's gas fee will be further reduced.

Yes, you're right. Almost all new projects are launched on the Binance Smart Chain, so there is much less movement on the Ethereum chain. But anyway, when the value of Ethereum rises again, the value of the fees will rise again exponentially. A large percentage of new projects are launched on BSC, Solana, and others, so Ethereum developers will have to do something if they don't want to lose more market share over the next few months.

My advice, always look at the traffic on the ethereum network and if the traffic starts to drop, then you can try sending tokens at a low cost, as this will affect gas costs. when does the traffic on the ethereum network decrease? you can visit the link above buddy

Every country must have a time difference between one country and another, and in my country usually GAS ETH goes down in the morning, and that's when I usually send ERC20 tokens. At night, the price of GAS ETH can go up 100% or even more. That's why I chose the morning time to reduce this very high ETH Gas cost, before I would say I live in Southeast Asia.

First and foremost, we can’t control the gas fees of Ethereum. Last time, my wallet was qualified for the DappRadar airdrop and I need to claim it before the price drops even further. The problem is that the gas fees are too high back then, so I have to wait for a few days until I see the gas drops further. I set it to medium in which it’ll take approximately 30 seconds for the transaction to be completed, so I paid around $30 instead of paying double for it.

Now the next step for me is to transfer it to an exchange which the ETH fee is much more affordable than going on in Uniswap or Sushiswap. I am using Metamask or Trust Wallet for sending and receiving transactions, and I just simply check the Gas Tracker on Etherscan to monitor it live.

If the gas fee is down then that time the new projects will again come to the ETH wallet otherwise they again go to the BSC and also to the TRX wallet becasue of the low fee and the ETH wallet lost their value in the market. ETH wallet is very good but becasue of high fee this will lost their reputation.

For the vast majority of new projects to be launched on the Ethereum chain, the problem of transaction fees must be resolved in a stable and continuous manner. It's useless for developers of new projects and users that transaction fees today cost $8 when in a few days they can cost $60, as long as this continues, Ethereum will be the chain that receives the least new projects as we have seen for months.

We used to expect that EIP-1559 will help reduce transaction fees, but transaction fees are still over 100 Gwei. Right now, the only way that Ethereum can have cheaper fees is to speed up transactions in the network. Consensus Ethereum will do it with POS.

It is very difficult to lower EThereum's GAS fees because Ethereum itself has a POW system that anyone can set the transaction gas if they want to speed up the transaction and that is the effect of all the expensive GAS fees now on the market.
This is proof that Ethereum is getting more and more difficult to lower its GAS transaction fees, but there is still a lot behind it that BSC, Polygon, Matic, Solana can be like the Ethereum ecosystem but have low transaction fees.

- There are small transactions on the Ethereum blockchain netwoirk. So the gas fee willl be mroe stable at a certain rate

Since everyone will increase their Gas amount to speed up their transactions, and the popularity of this Ethereum network is very high hence the usage traffic is also high. It will be difficult for ETH gas to drop as low as it used to be.
Yes The alternative is to use another network, if it is possible for us to do so.

To lower the GAS Ethereum fee, just move the network to the Polygon Matic network, from Ethereum ERC20 it changes to Ethereum MT20 and maybe it's different later on the choice of tokens that will be exchanged because maybe the Ethereum ecosystem on the Polygon Matic blockchain network is still not crowded.
But with this type, I feel that it has become a good option for all of us to be able to lower the GAS transaction fee which is very expensive on the original Ethereum, namely Ethereum with the ERC20 type.

Actually Gas Ethereum is not always high, Gas Eth costs also fluctuate.
We can wait for the price of Gas to drop if we want to make a transaction, but if we want the price of Gas Eth to be as low as before, it seems impossible to happen.

Unfortunately for now, you can’t control ETH’s exorbitant gas fees no matter if you want to set it to low. Setting your gas to low may either let you wait for a long time for the transaction to be validated and confirmed, or it’ll fail for sure and kiss your gas fees bye2x to the miner. Either you go medium or average gas to make the transaction go through without any shortcuts. You may want to wait for Vitalik to launch consensus layer for ETH because the 2.0 was already off the books now.

Either you go medium or average gas to make the transaction go through without any shortcuts. You may want to wait for Vitalik to launch consensus layer for ETH because the 2.0 was already off the books now.
Sadly according to the OP, there are no low fee preferred time lately. Have observed and monitor the transaction fee for the past 4 week but have not seen it drop below 30 GWEI. Only Ethereum transfer can give you a transaction fee below 3 dollars every other fee stay above 15 dollar irrespective of the coin and size of transaction especially of DEX.

Thanks for your advice becasue i already pay so much gas fee to withdraw my coins and this time the gas fee of the ETH coin is very high and so many new projects go to BNB and TRX wallet becasue of the low fee, if the ETH wallet make low the fee then the upcoming again start to use the ETH wallet.

So far, the only way to get a cheaper gas fee is to wait for a certain time when the transaction is not very crowded. So, the fee is commonly decreasing or smaller than when it is crowded. I will check regularly the gas fee station or in the etherscan.io to ensure that the fee is under 50gwei or not or probably lower.

Yeah, we should always check on gas tracker to know the time when gas fee lower. But I think waste the time.
We must always check it.
Better to use other platform because Ethereum gas fee is so high and Ethereum developer didn't have solution for gas fee problem.
I think no way to reduce Ethereum gas fee, because when Ethereum price high, gas fee will higher.

It's true. ERC-20 transactions are the cheapest at the moment, now costing $4. But the rest of the transfer types (UniSwap, Opensea, SushiSwap...) cost almost $20, and they are still cheap compared to previous weeks when they could exceed $150. There are still certain time slots where transactions are a bit cheaper, but unfortunately they are less and less. Worst of all, when the market starts to recover it will be much more expensive than it is now.

Of course, everyone hopes that eth2.0 can be implemented soon and we hope that what has been said about eth2.0 which is cheap and has better speed than today, is indeed proven. it is certain that many new projects will emerge with erc20, so it will be exciting again with many low cost alternatives will be presented.
then the impact received will make crypto more excited, we are waiting for that.

This time again the ETH gas fee is high and so many new projects go to use the BNB or TRX wallet becasue these wallets fee is very low but the ETH wallet fee is high so much at this time and so many peoples will use the BNB and i hope in future the fee will reduce soon in ETH wallet.

The problem of high Ethereum fees is going to continue to exist for a long time as we have already seen on many occasions. A few hours ago it happened again, making it impossible to send tokens to users with few funds. I think the best thing is (as far as possible) not to use the Ethereum chain, or to use it as little as possible, otherwise the same thing will always happen. Until the #DevelopmentTeam  implements a fix, we can do nothing but get frustrated.

There is a certain time when traffic in the ethereum network reduces and it's mostly in the Asian timezone I think. Gas fees are less that time so you can use that time to send your transaction. Also if you want to withdraw eth from any exchange then use FTX because it offers the lowest possible fees for eth network as I know till now.

I don't agree with you, when the market pumps, I think gas fee will go up.
Gas fee always depend on traffic and the price of Ethereum.
I think there no way to reduce gas fee, just always see the traffic

The London update is the name for a set of upgrades which are due to go live on the Ethereum blockchain at the start of August. The update features five individual upgrades, each known as an Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP). Together these EIPs will make Ethereum cheaper to use and reduce the supply of ETH, while simultaneously increasing demand.

The transition went off without a hitch. A report from the Crypto Carbon Ratings Institute (CCRI)  commissioned by Ethereum-centric software firm ConsenSys claims that Ethereum uses approximately 99.99% less energy after the merge. If the number is true, the upgrade has even slightly exceeded Ethereum’s projections.
