The Dfinity Foundation, the developer of the Internet Computer (ICP) project, filed a logo suit against Facebook in October, which changed the name of its parent company to Meta in reference to the metaverse.
Dfinity Foundation stated that the infinity symbol used by Meta, which changed its logo along with the company name, was similar to its own logo, and demanded both the termination of the use of the logo and financial compensation.

does this mean copyright infringement? Several previous cases also mention that the name "Meta" already belongs to another company. Facebook also had to buy the patent rights.

A case against using the ICP logo.
I don't think they're going to win, but the DFinity foundation has filed a lawsuit anyway.
I don't like this foundation though. They sold their ICP tokens to crypto users for $300, causing them to drop as low as $10.

ICP price is now very cheap, will after the bearish pass the ICP price will comeback? I'm considering collecting it. I'm still waiting for the moment for the lowest ICP price.
