Title: Share your experience with bounties
Post by: Domithra on June 14, 2018, 03:06:24 AM
It seems about 80% of us here (bounty hunters) in one or two ways have been a victim of a scam bounty program yet we never stop the hunting. It requires hard work and dedication to get there.
Bounties are now the leprechaun of in my 21st century world - fetching me a lot of digital gold.
What is your experience with bounties?

I've had mixed bag results like most, one thing I like to do that I don't see a lot doing is I really analyze the numbers and participation of something when trying to figure out what tasks are best payout potential per hour spent... some people only want to do a certain type of task, but I'm willing to go outside of the box if i see a somewhat easy task that has low participation. But as far as mixed bag goes.. I've had 1000$ airdrops.. but also bounties I've done for months that were worthless.  Choose signatures carefully, try to pick ones that won't extend for quick payouts.. thats something I've definitely made mistakes on in the past.

If you have ever got a motor accident before, it doesn't mean you shouldn't travel with a vehicle again. You just have to be extra careful. its true we have been victims of scam ICOs, it rather opens our eyes to be extra careful in choosing our bounties the next time

Great Example. I am following this from quite a good time.

As the saying goes, 'once bitten, twice shy'. If you ever had a bad experience with joining scam ICO's, you just have to be extra careful. You need to investigate more into bounties before participating in them.

Being a bounty hunter means try and try til you succeed. Even though it is risky the tryout should not stop because not all ICOs are scam. Even we have some idea about how to identify the scam project still sometimes we are victim.

I haven't been lucky with bounties at all. I'm starting to lose faith in them. I haven't been in bounty hunting for long but the first three bounties I participated in came turned out to be scams. This is very shocking, and sad because all my effort are getting wasted. Itt is actually starting to discourage me.

Were they actual scams or did they just not go anywhere once you received the tokens?  Can you name what they were?  Just so we can look at the thread and see what they had going on?  If you don't feel comfortable talking about it in detail.. thats fine however.

The first experience following the bounty can be said disappointing because the first bounty I follow a scam.
Then I try again to follow the bounty and succeed, then I get the reward but have to wait for the distribution time and the opening of the exchanger to be sold. not infrequently also I must hold tokens to wait for prices to rise.
The key in the world of crypto currency is patient.
Now I am happy to follow bounty because I can earn money without having to work hard again but must work smart in this crypto currency.
Thanksful crypto currency.

I have been bounty since November last year. I managed to earn about $ 1200. These are the tokens that can now be sold on the exchange. About 50 more tokens have not yet entered the exchanges. My result does not like me very much.

my best strategy for working in the bounty companies is that you need to work in the bounty who have already collected a soft cap

I started my bounty journey around feb this year, i did do quite a number of them some stop halfway giving reasons no news from ICO etc or even a downright scams that every hunters is talking about but i am glad that i have make some money from bounty hunting. This job definitely require you to persevere and push yourself as you does not have someone to push you if you are lazy and waiting for immediately profit you can stop the idea of being a bounty hunter i only start get my coins like 2-3 months later and you still must factor in only a few might be valuable the rest might be shit coins.

I have also experienced this and I don't know what the team is still waiting for. It's been over 5 months now and still no token distributed. On their telegram group, they are only telling us they will be distributed. But when? Are they afraid of the market?

I did and I'm still doing lots of bounties (social media ones) + a signature one. I don't choose anymore long signature campaign but maximum 2-3 months campaigns for faster cashout.

There are a lot of bounty campaigns. And as a bounty hunters we need to select or maybe choose a good bounty campaign, because sometimes we can also be failed if we engage on failed bounty campaign, we cannot possibly earn a huge amount of profit because our work will not be paid if bounty is failed.

I also experience a scam bounty, a bounty manager that didn't give us the reward. But it is a lesson learned, just move on and proceed for the next and better be a good bounty. We cant honestly predict whats the mind of the bounty manager, if its not influenced by greed, the bounty rewards are safe.

Bounties that purely depends on he result of tokensale or ICO are sometimes fail to success in the marketplace. I been here for quite some time and experience several failure projects and end up wasting time and effort. This is the real world it now today not surely as we continue to move time will come to us with huge reward. We just take our step forward.

$1200 is not a lot...
Which bounty types did you attend? I prefer signatures, only got paid for 1, it is not listed as well. But I only attended 2 signature campaigns

I followed the bounty campaign carefully and according to the rules, but unfortunately it was all in vain because the Bounty manager couldn't put my name on the spreadsheet.
As a result I did not get anything from the project.

I actually want to also be a bounty hunter. but my experience is still lacking and I also don't really understand about a project. and now many projects are scam. so I have a lot to learn in this forum and this altcointalk forum really helps me to know how to choose the legit bounty.

My first wallet was hacked, the bounty rewards stacked till then the hacker stole all coins with significant value. And now, I am starting again hoping to recover from my loss. Be extra careful and vigilant whenever you are visiting or click websites. Phishing is not the reason why I am hacked so please, be wary!
