Food security is a very serious issue more serious than most people understand especially the younger generation because no one really pays attention to food security and even when the government tries to play their part by offering free training and education and distributing farming equipments most people see it as an opportunity to sell those items and get money rather than using them efficiently totally ignoring the fact that every living thing need food to survive most especially we humans but most people prefer the easy way when what they really need to pay most of their attention to is agriculture which has many sectors but the farming sector is simpler to handle and manage and just allowing nature do its own thing ,when they do that they'll realise that food is the basic and most important thing in life that they spend almost all the salary that they have worked our for, why not work and farm? If you farm and harvest you can use all for Your own consumption or you can store up enough for your consumption and sell the rest also generating additional income.food security is not a priority but is should be.

There is a huge possibility of younger or new generations adopting cryptocurrency investments compared to them getting interests on farming and food related sectors. What do you think? Does it have a good or bad effects on our economy?

I think the suitable topic for this particular subject Matter should be "Agricultural Sector might be of less priority when compared to Cryptocurrency for younger generations to come"

Sorry we are all learning here, we will love to know why did you think that the suitable topic here should be Agricultural sector might be less priority when compared to cryptocurrency for younger generations to come ? Please elaborate to us for better understanding from your own point of view?

Economics , Sociology & Politics / Re: Is your social media account yours?
« on: February 13, 2024, 06:38:06 PM »
Of course it's mine full time.

Hmm, not actually I may own it now but with time it won't be my again, that is in the case of my death, that is because am the only one that have access to it unless may be I disclose it to my kids or love ones when I was alive then they can be able to access it and gain or learn from it also to be able to have full control of everything pertaining to it when am not more. So it's sometimes good to share some of your secrets with your child expecially if he or she is next of your kin. But also be extra ordinary careful because now are days some children are so awesome that they will do something that even you the parents will never expect such from them. So my social media is my now but with time it won't be my again.

Economics , Sociology & Politics / Re: Do you know who you are?
« on: February 13, 2024, 05:50:57 PM »
I wouldn't really say I know who I am because at times I will ask myself, what kind of human being am I, sometimes I will also say I know who I am in different cases though.

Though, actually this question use to cross everyone's heart one way or the other on who they are and their purpose of livelyhood in this world, it do cross the mind and heart of every human being, in some cases some will be able to say and express themselves on who they are while some will not be able to ! but it all depends on the grounds of situations they found theirselfs in,  but a human being should always be moderate and live happily with people surrounding him or her, people should always speak good about him or her even though is not physically present or even in a case of death the good legacy laid by him should speak and defend him.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: What is cryptocurrency???
« on: January 31, 2024, 07:52:17 AM »
Thank you everyone for your input I had knowledge but didn’t have experience and this forum is a place filled with people with crypto experience that is why I asked the question here and truly you did not disappoint and I have learned more about it ,I have been studying the cryptocurrency for a while now and I understand that the prices fluctuate and I know it’s risky but I think the trick is to invest an amount you will be comfortable losing not going in with a lot of amount and invest in short term and not quickly selling your tokens immediately it falls but while it’s still at its peak.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: What is bitcoin?
« on: January 31, 2024, 07:29:45 AM »
Bitcoin is a virtual currency that is very popular among cryptocurrencies. It is currently at the top of the crypto world. You can see the amount of this currency only digitally. But can't touch it.  Through it you can transact digitally, invest, also in developed countries you can buy various things through it. Bitcoin was created in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamate.
I understand what bitcoin is now but what I don’t really get is why is the government almost of every country not freely allowing cryptocurrencies to co exist with our current means of exchange?

Well in this world it can be said from experience that money almost fully rules pretty much everything in this world and that is something we as humans need to make a stop and re-evaluate because something doesn’t really add up about that, yes I agree that money was created as means of exchange but before there was something called money there was more humility and humanity was more moderately fair in carrying out business and going about their daily life, but right now it doesn’t seem so any longer people are loosing so many good attributes just pursuing money with their eyes closed which leads to many unfortunate situations be it in life or in business,it’s also very important to be rational and understand how the world works and be smart enough to be able to navigate your way around so as to not be used but it is also very important to study the situation that people around you are living in and you could be able to help out one way or the other, I think if we are more rational and responsible and take some time to reason we will understand that money is not the only thing that really matters in life and in businesses.

Well money is not everything in this life but rather a means of livelihood to eat, chatter for medical bills, where good dresses , take care of families and less privilege people e.t.c but the world we are in now people always think when you have money you have almost everything which they feel they can do and undo without anyone questioning them being it good or bad. But for business I feel you can’t start it up without having even though a little means of money, someone need it to start up a business, because you cannot put anything on nothing and expect it to be there it will definitely collapse just that you didn’t bring in food stuffs to the house and you went Ahead and go to the kitchen that you want to cook food. So you need to have a means for a business to get started.
Everything you have said is true and I agree with it,I know in business you definitely need capital but there are other things to at regulate business in the sense that it defines its success and failure, for example if you have capital and have no efficient knowledge about the business it’s bound to be unsuccessful, if you have capital and no flow chain or customers that business is going nowhere, if you have capital and have bad habits and rude no one would like to work for you and I might end up in a position where you depend on those same people and I don’t think they will stay if the have had enough or have a better offer so money might be the starting point or important factor for a successful business but it definitely depends on other variables to be successful.

Money is very important to us, that is a fact but there's this  line in one of my favourites rapper lyrics If money's where you find happiness, you'll always be poor alot of people won't actually get this part but this line actually hit me differently. There are alot of people at there who are damn rich but still lacks happiness and peace of mind. As I said money pretty much important to us but is not all that matters. All that really matters is your happiness, your health and the state of having peace of mind  ;D
I do completely agree with you but this state of mind and understanding is not really common which is surprising because when we look around it doesn’t really matter which part of the world it is everything is pretty much the same, the poor are striving to be rich much of them with their eyes closed not caring about their own happiness and not caring about the happiness of those around them while the rich wants to get richer by any means possible that people’s feeling are unimportant to them.

General Discussion / When to let go and when to hang on In business.
« on: January 27, 2024, 03:02:02 PM »
A business is not easy to start, not easy to maintain and not all obstacles or risk has a solution and I'm business you should know when the risk is worth solving and which risk is not and how to make a misfortune into another type of fortune,Although this also depends on the type of business you are involved In ,let's take an example with Agribusiness and poultry to be precise, here in the northern part of Nigeria there is a type of roasted chicken we call suya,if u have a poultry farm and it is well known to be associated with natural risk where if or when a single bird or chicken has a disease and it is not noticed and treated fast it actively spreads to the others which is very disastrous to the owner but realizing that some has already caught the disease it is advisable that those ones should be quarantined  and treated while looking out for other birds that might be affected.
In this situation it is well known that it can be helped but in a situation whereby the disease is the one that makes them become still growth no matter what they eat it is advisable that they are slautered and turned into suya so that atleast even if it's not all your money you get back ,u can atleast get some back and it wouldn't be a total loss. Thank you.

Please help me I don't know what's happening my negative karma has been increasing without any reason or explanation I don't know what to do or how to go about it ,please help

Only admin can see karma logs, so I don't know which exact posts got -karma.

But let's see some of your posts:
This one I just quoted is an example of doubleposting: when you answered today in this topic and the most previous post is yours also. I.e. 2 posts in a row. It is not allowed.

https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=183665.msg1480551#msg1480551 this post doesn't add anything to the discussion. If you have nothing substantial to say, it is better not to post anything. When with time you'll get an opportunity to give karma, it is better to give +karma for good advice.

I'm not sure anyone gave you -karma for the second post, I'd say that more likely that someone disliked some of your previous posts. Hope it will stop. I'll even give you one +karma to compensate one of additional -karmas you've got. I see that you are trying to do your best and it's good.
Thank you very much you have been of much help to me it has decreased by one. I will still be very careful.

General Discussion / What kind of person are you??
« on: January 26, 2024, 06:49:38 PM »
Knowing the kind of personality you have has a great advantage because it pretty much influences every single decision you have to take ,so understanding yourself better and moderating your decisions is a most.
