Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: XRP really better than ETH???
« on: August 22, 2020, 05:22:25 PM »
I really don't get why op thinks xrp is better than eth, well probably very cheap to transfer than eth, lately eth transaction fee has become a thing of concern,  aside from this I don't see any reason why xrp is better than eth.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: People say altcoins won't survive
« on: August 22, 2020, 10:04:19 AM »
Altcoins will survive but probably not all of them will, the good ones with great potential will definitely survive in the end, only project with use case will survive, the rest of the shitcoins will be gone.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Let me look for some good projects.
« on: August 22, 2020, 09:59:34 AM »
I believe we all have invested in one or two projects that have failed, i personally have experience this before, all my 2018 investment did not yield me any profit rather i only incure lose, so nowadays am very careful the type of project I put my money on.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Will Bitcoin Really Reach $1 Million?
« on: August 22, 2020, 09:45:14 AM »
Some crypto analysts have made this prediction about btc price reaching $1 million but this is very hard to believe, even if there will be anything like this, it will probably happen years to come, for now the price be within $20k or a bit more.

22
no that is not going to happen, btc needs other alts to flourish besides both are coexisting just fine, altcoins have different purpose in blockchain and btc can not provide all that to people, look at the market, there are tones of altcoins out there and more will come as well.

23
this should be moved to the appropriate section, forum related to be precise, this section suppose to be for btc related, try to navigate around the forum and get yourself acquainted with each section so you know the right place to open a thread.

Forum Court / Re: What to do if you are banned ?

Plagiarism is not against the AltcoinsTalks rules.

I'm actually disappointed that plagiarism is not against the rules on the forum (I thought it was?), as I genuinely believe that this lowers it's reputation. All someone would need to do is go to any thread and start copy pasting, building up a huge amount of (more than likely) useless posts in the process. Why would the forum admin (presumably) pull someone up on the quality of a post, but not pull someone up for copying another's 'work', it seems counter-intuitive. At the very least, quoting sources should be obligatory, and action taken if not. I realise this element creates extra pressure on the admins/moderators to maintain it, but it would (in my humble opinion) be worth it.

completely agree with you, i think plagiarism should not be condone especially when copying and pasting someone else content and making it yours, if you copy someone post to cite and example and put it in quotation mark this is different from copying post to make post count, this will only encourage more members to plagiarize all over the forum, that is why the local board are available to those who find it difficult to converse in English.

Basic questions about this forum / Re: Multiple accounts in forum
« on: August 20, 2020, 03:42:38 PM »
common sense should tell you that you can't use multiple account in same campaign, that will be cheating with multiple account, you can apply to different campaign in forum, at least that what i know in btt but i know this forum rules are different from that of bitcointalk, so better to follow forum rules.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold ?
« on: August 20, 2020, 03:37:49 PM »
very possible, the only down side of crypto is the high level of volatility, gold is a very stable asset and thus the reason why calm investors prefer it than crytpo :D
crypto investment can increase your adrenaline, make you feel uneasy, but still a good investment if you have the stomach for it.

In fact i will avoid all of them, gone where the days when people rely on ico rating site to make any investment decision but this days many people already have experience and knows what to look out for, anyone who have been in crypto since 2017 don't need ico rating site any more. ::)

28
i do sell to get my initial investment and profit and hodl the rest for future price pump, when you invest on a good project, it is not bad to hodl some of the tokens because you never knwo what surprise will pop up in future, take a look at Link for instance, those who participate in ico and sold everything in the first price increase will be regretting after the way it performed few days back.

Tokens/Coins Offerings (ICO, IEO, etc.) / Re: ICOs vs IEOs.
« on: August 20, 2020, 03:26:05 PM »
ico period already long gone, nowadays only few ico's are able to achieve their goal, this icos are from very strong project and team, example of such project is Avalanche who sold out on their ico, it was surprising to me but it is true, i guess investors have strong believe in the project.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Are airdrops and bounties useful?
« on: August 20, 2020, 03:23:06 PM »
Bounty is more useful than airdrop, back in 2017 there were airdrops that give participants good reward but this days not so much of those airdrop are available, bounty on the other hand can still give good reward if you work hard and join the right bounty, take DIA bounty as an example, participants in that bounty will earn good money when distributed.
