Decentralized exchange good or not?

as time goes on, cryptocurrency will always experience many changes,
whether it's a coin or an exchange,
for example, decentralized exchange,
decentralized exchange is made so that funds can be held directly by traders rather than binary,
so it's safe from hacker attacks.
if I think decentralization of exchange is very good.
What do you think?

I don't think it is even a debate if it is good or not. Many wanted to go for decentralized exchanges for a long time but because of the lack liquidity/volume, they're forced to stick with centralized exchanges. The fact that even CEX are also developing their own DEX says a lot already. DEX is the future.

The idea of a decentralized exchange is very interesting,but in practice these exchanges do not provide a normal number of coins, their liquidity and the exchanges themselves quite slow.
I think in the future there will be hybrid exchanges that will combine the advantages of centralized and decentralized exchanges.

I also don't think it's a debate, decentralized exchanges are superior to centralized exchanges, even if there are still issues (mainly liquidity). Once liquidity is integrated into these DEX's (from centralized exchanges), and user bases increase, exchanges will gradually "upgrade" to more decentralized models imo.

Decentralized exchange concept is really great but we are still far away from a 100% safe real decentralized exchange, for example, just a couple of months ago there was a bug with one of the popular decentralized exchange that led to a loss of a lot of money, we still need more time.

Its good since its decentralized you are in control with your funds, But the Bad thing for me is the poor volume performance I think if the Volume of a DEX was improve its more far better that Centralized One.

Here's the thing:
Traders don't go to DEX's because of the lack of liquidity but in order to increase its liquidity, more traders must use these DEX's.

There's no doubt that many traders prefer decentralized exchanges if only transaction speed will be improved and more trading pairs will be added.

Cryptocurrency needs decentralizaion 100%. It makes no sense with centralized crypto. I just think the system needs a bit inmprovement yet.

Maybe many of us want the Binance, Bittex and HitBTC exchanges for new tokens to have high prices on the market, but I prefer decentralized exchanges that are easier to use for crypto trading, transparency makes me prefer trading there, because I can controlling all my assets safely, easily and quickly when withdrawing crypto assets

Yes decentralized exchanges are good.
There are some good ones .
The only challenge being that the daily volume on those exchanges is far from being encouraging.
Nevertheless, there's still need for improvement in order to accommodate the demand of traders.

I think that decentralized exchanges are good. But the future is, on chain, atomic swaps. There are on;y 4 coins that support atomic swaps. Bitcoin, Litecoin, Verge and Decred. There are innovations coming up, that plan to bring atomic swaps between any blockchain. Crypto space, is full of creativity and innovation.

In my opinion,  CEX is very user-friendly and easy to use systems comparing to Dex. I am sure more advancements will happen in DEX to make it fly high.

All of them discuss that Decentralization is into profitable businesses.
But let's think that the Decentralized Exchange is very dangerous, because of the lack of security.

For example : ForkDelta and IDEX that store our Private Key to trade on that platform.
                     If ForkDelta and IDEX are hacked, I'm sure our Private Key can also be hacked.

I also think that the decentralized exchange is very good, because there is openness between the two parties, and I think it is also very useful and can be done anytime and anywhere as long as there is an internet network.

The next step, that makes exchanges obsolete, is the atomic swap. Now it is applicable only to similar blockchains, but I think that evolution, will make them available to more blockchains. We have technology going on. Have fun!
