High transaction fees will be the downfall of Ethereum ?

Ethereum killer app have not yet materialized, but the erc20 token economy is a good thing going for ethereum
thousands of airdrops and bounty distributions every minute ...
But as the transaction fee reaches and surpasses the 1$ per transaction,
projects will reconsider airdrops and maybe some bounties ...
on average an airdrop can reach 2000-10000, is it worth it for any project to spend 10000$ for simply spreading their tokens ?
ICO/IEOs might still do airdrops but i doubt we will see much community tokens in the future ....
Or .... another token platform with better fees will take the leading role from ethereum ...

The transaction fees this time around is damn high, some of these projects doing bounties/airdrop now are really spending hell of money for transaction fees, to worsen the situation, i received bounty token that the transaction fee value is higher than the value of the token I received. Tron blockchain is doing well regardless because their fees are almost free.

Ethereum will survive even though the scaling problem is not really solved by additional 3rd party protocols. But the application of Shardings in ETH 2.0 solves this problem more completely. As  far as I know, bounty hunters are always accuse of dumping the price of a token/coin, so projects are finding ways to delay or creating a much more preferable payment method for hunters. I am part of previous campaigns that distributed the payments in 3 batches. But yeah, high ETH gas fees today might be one excuse they can use.

This is indeed a serious problem. With this very high cost I am sure the Crypto project will think again if they want to use the Ethereum platform for their project.

No need to panic. The problem with high gas prices has already been resolved.
