We are old supporters of this forum, trying to be active every day but it's hard to become Legendary, we can get it months or maybe years, And now teleported members get it so easy. I think that's unfair

So like my previous post, the Teleported members will get Sr Member Max, if they want to become Hero Member or above. they have to work hard for it

Note : I will always support the admin's decision, this is only suggestion. So stop making a nonsense post as if I didn't support it at all

To me, users will have to work hard to have their teleported badge removed. For all we know, there may be bounty campaigns in the future that exclude teleported members as only want original members to apply. Bringing crypto veterans to this forum can't be a bad thing imo. Don't worry about rank too much maybe.

Maybe will or maybe not, The teleported member is not something bad, they are not cheaters and I think only a few chances for them to exclude. So I think we must focus on the right now, not about the future

Of course teleported isn't bad, but enough bounties also require a certain amount of karma as well as rank in order to participate. I imagine this will be a continued theme for the more valuable bounties, thus teleported members won't be able to participate in these without putting in the effort. Just like members here who earnt their higher rank, it doesn't imply they contribute quality to the forum either, as rank isn't based on karma but activity. I'll be keeping a close eye on the teleported members, any shitposters will be warned as such, they won't be treated as royalty or with immunity. I hope this gives you some reassurance. Feel free to report them too when applicable!

I understand your concern if there is a limited number of participants available, or for bounties only available for higher ranks now that there is a small spike in higher ranks appearing here. You've already made a valid point that some of these teleporters will be shitposters, those who gained their rank in the pre-merit system, likely from shitposting. There will even be those who are escaping their negative trust left by DT etc. It's worth noting that bounty managers will soon become aware of this imo, hence they will likely be the ones to make the system fairer for bounty hunters in the near future.

But let's wait for the response of the admin about that. I will always support it

In absense of admin's response here, who has been active elsewhere responding to users thoughts & concerns:

and hopefully we'll make it up for our native users in other ways, maybe more airdrops to native users .... i don't know we'll see

Regarding issues of fairness and forum management, its the President you'll want to hear from, who I have PM'd for you. Admin is only responsible for implementing such new ideas, it's up to everyone else to propose how to make this forum fairer for those who contribute the most value and quality. It's therefore the President who will have the final say around here on this matter:

President is the president of a community
Thus it is the president that will decide:
[...]
- Initiatives.
- Policies & changes of policies.

Furthermore, I don't think admin will reverse his decision to allow teleporters only up to Sr Member or otherwise, unless over-ruled. I think it's better to propose a suggestion that can help make it fairer for "original" members here, whilst also welcoming those who teleport here, as above all we are aiming to be the friendly forum.

PS - You don't need to always support admin's decision either, I know I haven't in the past. We aim for democracy here as a diverse team and community.

I think what our friends said is not wrong. Admin should be willing to give more space to discuss with each other for improvement. because our main goal is clearly improvement, but whether this has also been thought will have a bad impact.

1- Ranks mean nothing without bounties, especially for bounty hunters
2- Bounties are hesitant to join here due to low activity & active users compared to btt
3- btt users are a big asset to the crypto ecosystem, especially the high ranked and old ones
thus bringing btt users here is getting more bounties to everybody.

Important: btt are teleported to their rank, thus they will need to fullfill the original requirement to rank up, while native users it is easier.
ex:
native user : full member > gets x posts + y forum activity  > becomes Snr member
teleported user: full member > gets x posts + y forum activity +z account aging +w accumulated activity > becomes Snr member


thus being teleported does not mean progressing in rank will be similar to natives, no, it will be more difficult.
as for the rank itself, i explained already, this helps everyone, because everyone wants more bounties.

My suggestion based on this thread, Makes points as a requirement for the bounty campaign

They get high rank instantly but they can't get points except they active in the forum. So they must work hard to get it.

What about for people who exchange the point for the token, it's mean going to 0. To solve this, we have to add Total Point and Current Point in the profile. So for a member who already exchanges their point, the profile will look like below

I am not dropping your word. Our admin has given details about this. Teleport account will be closed soon. And I don't think you're sacrificing your own interests here.

Those who are active members of our forum should sacrifice their own interests. We need more people in our forums. Especially those who will contribute to the forum.

I think the teleport account will be closed now, one day when admin decide to close the teleport account. I think it’s great. But it should be kept open for bounty managers.
