Afraid of Possible Crypto Winter?

In the past years of cryptocurrency history, a bull run period can be followed by a slump winter where coins and tokens can be experiencing a big cut of their price or value. I think many of us here in this industry -- small and big holders, investors and enthusiasts -- are still have this fear that in 2021 it can still happen.

In your estimate, what is the rate of chance that a crypto winter can manifest within this year? Rate it from 1 being almost nil to 10 to being really so possible. And what can be the possible factors leading to loss of gains and slide of value of many cryptos?

This year, we expect a mostly bull market with a long period of growth for our cryptocurrencies. Some predict that the market will grow right up to November, of course, with periods of periodic price correction. However, its growth depends on various external factors in our world. Although there are no direct threats to the development of cryptocurrency, we already hear calls from some high officials to regulate the circulation of cryptocurrency more strictly.
I estimate the possibility of a long period of decline in the cryptocurrency market this year by three points.

My rating is 1. Because it seems to me that this year there will be no fall in cryptocurrency prices (but there will be a very small one, which we will not even feel).

Most likely there will be a big correction of the cryptocurrency market this year, and after this correction, another growth of cryptocurrencies will immediately begin and I think that all this will happen this year, but this of course is my personal opinion and everything can be different, but so far everything is going to this.

Because of the halving's 4-year cycle, I expect 2021 to be a crypto market boom and for now just the beginning of the up-trend. The real value of the crypto market is huge, not just limited to 1T USD like 2017, it would make more sense when it was 2T USD or 3T USD.

IMHO, I believe in the saying that there is no permanent in this world except change, and what comes up must come down, So I think its also applicable in the crypto market because the market is also guided in these principles thats why the so-called crypto winter is already in the corner, but I think it's not the same as it was in 2018-2019. Normal trend could happen. What is it? After pump we all know that the drastic decline below half price from all time high is possible. That is below 50%. The drastic decline could happen if there is a huge pump. Time to buy again and hold or trade Bitcoin.

Whilst this rise does look similar to the run of 2017, there are differences which indicate bitcoin could go higher still. It isn’t just the average person on the street buying bitcoin. Larger investors, such as pension funds and hedge funds also are investing in crypto.

I did vote it 4, winter might come but i dont think it will be as bad as the one that followed 2017/2018 bull run, any serious crypto winter wont come if the institutions  that have invested big in bitcoin don't dump it on the masses, all should be fine if they continue to hold or sell Strategically by not selling everything all at once.
2021 bull run is much different from that of 2017/2018, I see the 2021 bitcoin bull run as more of an organic growth and less of hype which was the main driver of 2017s bull run.

Personally i think that 2021 as a whole will remain bullish for crypto market and please do not forget that the real parabolic run has still not started which will be epic. As far as slump, dump and crash is concerned that will obviously happen after new market peak so we should be ready for that as well.

New investors and traders in the crypto space are a cause of both rising and falling crypto prices, there are actually many factors, but from the current price increases, it looks like the crypto market will look blue for a long time.
more than 2 years I have been looking forward to a market like this and I hope a group of whales do not sell some of their crypto assets, because it can lead to dumps and a rapid decline in coin prices

When it comes to the next bullrun for altcoin, we say bout all altcoins or most altcoins that are increasing more than 100% per day. We can get more about it because we are living here for expecting the result. Please note that being afraid, panic and also greedy will only make ti clear

People are very worried because the price of BTC is falling and there is no sign of recovery, it seems everyone is afraid that the crypto bubble will burst like 2018
I still believe that the 4-year cycle of BTC price still has an impact thanks to the halving event, and the participation of large institutions and reputable hedge funds will give BTC price strong support. The top altcoins are also doing very well, with no sign of a crypto winter.
So I think the risk for crypto winter in 2021 is just 2/10 because of whales game
