Yeah, crypto is bad for the environment. Elon Musk apparently ditched bitcoin just because of that reason.   But there are new projects that are geared towards mining via green energy.

People just said crypto is bad for environmental, they didn't give good solution.
Maybe solar energy will be solution for miner.
The government should  build solar energy for the minner.
For trader and investors, I think no matter.

We know that cryptocurrency mining costs a lot. I don't think an environment is friendly because of the extra power consumption. So various cryptocurrency mining continues by handling the environmental situation. I think cryptocurrencies are at the top of popularity worldwide. As cryptocurrency grows in popularity as a second source of revenue. So the use of cryptocurrency will increase all over the world. It would be great if mining could be continued at a very low cost

Now it turns out that any production that consumes energy and releases heat into the environment is harmful. This is done by almost any production.
Miners themselves can solve the problem with the use of solar energy. After all, power plants on solar panels can be created of any capacity and simply use the roofs of houses for this. It is not worth shifting this problem onto the state, although it is the state that should create the necessary preferential conditions for the use of solar panels.

Solar energy is an expensive pleasure, and then the manufacture and disposal of these very batteries also harm the environment. But using the heat of volcanoes or geysers is quite the most environmentally friendly way to generate energy for the extraction of cryptocurrency. And some countries are already doing this.

Depends on how the token will be used..?
There are payment tokens like bitcoin(obviously), HALF, MILK and etc...
I guess these fall into the category that doesn't really effect environment cuz they are just used for paying for something..

I think It's a good idea , If we can use the heat of volcano or geyser.
But Not all countries has them.
Maybe the government should have good solution for this problem.
they should support their citizens.

Mining miners is harmful because it produces carbon dioxide. Everything else in cryptocurrency is not harmful. Trading, investing in cryptocurrency is not harmful to the environment. There is a way out to generate carbon dioxide from miners into a pure raw material product. This requires special equipment.

Most likely, states will restrict or even prohibit the mining of cryptocurrencies that use the energy-consuming PoW algorithm. To save humanity from catastrophic climate change, states have already committed themselves to reducing emissions of harmful gases. The most interesting thing is that bitcoin is included in this list. It is possible that states will decide to ban Bitcoin mining. Highly developed countries may still be able to control this decision, however, in third world countries, bitcoin will still be mined.
I do not see a decent way out of this situation.
