Today, the The Wall Street Journal wrote about a rare joint initiative between Apple, Google, and others connecting smart home devices. Right now, IoT devices from different companies can't talk to each other. By taking a product design approach to this problem for all IoT, we can come up with a solution which can literally saves lives now.
