Russia says it will accept Bitcoin for its oil and gas exports

Russia will except the Bitcoin and they make great decision and this time so many peoples will invest their money in the BTC not in gas or in oil and they hold their coin and sell when the coin go high in the market. Crypto market is a life changing market and its true.

if that happens Russia will use bitcoin for oil payments then this is positive news for bitcoin and the possibility that bitcoin will reach a new ATH, if for China it may wait for other countries to accept payments via bitcoin, if all countries have used bitcoin then  like it or not, China will accept bitcoin as a means of payment.

There are still many countries that are friendly with Russia, especially countries that are anti-US. They will be oriented toward Russia, and make Russia their economic partner. One of them is North Korea. Apart from North Korea, there are many other countries that are part of the Soviet Union that are friendly with Russia. In terms of international politics and economics Russia is still very strong. Interestingly, the state of Nato became a partner of Russia.

I really don't know how to interpret this news yet as it is very recent and there is not as much information as I would like, but I think now the Chinese government can take a step to show the world what it really thinks about Bitcoin. We know that Bitcoin is still being bought and sold in China, but in different markets than they were used to. It cannot be denied that the country of Russia was deliberately opened to this digital currency of the Bitcoin industry. So many merchants are accepting Bitcoin payments in their businesses and even in different companies. And in fairness, that strategy of Russia is quite cruel and can be said to be good. Why? Because imagine if a country is not open to the Bitcoin industry but they need a supply of oil and gas, they will always be forced to buy Bitcoin with their currency, this is a nice move for Russia, really good.

it could be that what you say rumors is a fact that happened, because in situations that experience an embargo there will always be a need for alternative payments that can be made so that there are no problems in the future, even though you are right that bitcoin does fluctuate, but there is no reason other than looking for alternatives which can be used as a reference.

I think to against embargo, Russian should have alternate payment method such as accept crypto as their gas and oil payment.

We have this announcement for months but there is no data on which countries or companies have used BTC to pay oil and gas bills. Everything is still in theory, BTC capitalization is not enough to serve the payment needs in this huge market. If BTC hits 500K USD, we can consider this possibility

The fact that Turkey and China are friends with Russia is very loudly said, and this statement is practically untrue. Turkey, China, India are pursuing an independent policy in relations with Russia and are trying to use the current difficult state of Russia associated with the unsuccessfully unleashed war in Ukraine in order to trade with it on favorable terms and make a profit. Russia has never been open to the free circulation of cryptocurrency. The law on digital assets, which was adopted in Russia, prohibits the use of cryptocurrency as a means of payment in the country. The Constitution of the Russian Federation provides that the only means of payment in Russia is the ruble, therefore, the State Duma of Russia has long been considering a bill establishing strict criminal liability for the use of cryptocurrency as a means of payment. Russia has one of the worst crypto-currency laws.
