FC Shakhtar Donetsk to Launch Exclusive NFT Collection on Binance NFT in Support

The FC Shakhtar NFT Collection and auction will launch on Binance NFT marketplace on May 7. Proceeds from the collection and auction are to be donated to the Shakhtar Social Fund and Binance Charity Foundation in support of Ukrainians in need.

Binance NFT, the NFT marketplace of Binance, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, has today announced the NFT collection launch of FC Shakhtar Donetsk, a professional Ukraine football club.

As part of FC Shakhtar Donetsk’s NFT launch, the club will be auctioning nine signed jerseys from its ‘Football for Peace’ initiative. In this initiative, FC Shakhtar Donetsk supports Ukrainian children affected by war by organizing friendly matches and donating the proceeds from the ticket sales.

The auction will begin on May 7 and last for a week. The highest bidders will each receive a limited edition FC Shakhtar Donetsk jersey with the ‘Football for Peace’ logo on it. The jersey will also be signed by all current FC Shakhtar Donetsk players and coaches, including Ukrainian football stars Taras Stepanenko, Mikhail Mudryk, and Andriy Pyatov.

In addition to the auctioned items, there will also be 10,000 NFT Mystery Boxes to purchase. The Mystery Boxes will be available on the Binance NFT Marketplace from May 7 and will be priced at 10 BUSD per Mystery Box.

Proceeds from the auction and Mystery Boxes sales will be donated to the Shakhtar Social Fund and Binance Charity Relief Fund in support of Ukrainian victims needing humanitarian assistance.
