Are bounty programs waste of time or a passive way of generating income?

It becomes very sad and unfortunate when you toil for several months for tokens by participating in a bounty program and turns out to be a shit coin or a scam project. I believe most of us here have been victims once.
The fact is, there isn't any 100% working strategy to detect the authenticity of a project. The best you can do to help yourself is to do a research on the project. Study the team members and try to figure out if the team really possess the credentials which they present on their whitepapers and websites. Check out if the advisor chosen for the project is really on board with the team by cross-checking from his tweets on twitter about the projects.

I think Bounty program is a passive way of generating income. I have gotten alot benefits from bounty..I enjoy it.

Bounty hunting is not really a passive income more to a "job" a own time own target job. Passive income is more to investing and doing nothing but you are able to see money constantly coming in. Bounty hunting is not really waste of time if you do your research well bounty hunting is a very good medium to earn in crypto other than investing.

Doing research aren't going to save you from anything, in this world long known managers or professionals can think different and act dishonestly in a day or change the rules of the bounty over night so you get %10 of you planned.

I agree! Research is the only best way to help ourselves to make sure that we are not doing something just for nothing. So let us protect ourselves by making personal study of the bounty that we will be joining.

I think bounty programs is not waste of time instead it helps us to to generate income.Through bounty programs we can promote the project and they reward us a token that will serve us as payment.Its depend on us how we manage our time in joining bounty programs..

I wonder how much hero or legendary members on btt earn from the bounties. Sometimes their signatures get paid like 10x than the jr. members.

Depends on the project you are working on from the bounty.
If you choose a SCAM project, for example, if you work on a signature campaign for 3 months, then for 3 months you spend your time in vain.
