Do we need altcoins?

I think altcoins for us are also a good way we can get more profits every day, because seeing the development of bitcoin prices increases every day.

right now they don't seem really useful. It is like the domains back in 90s.  There were tons of empty domain however no websites to use.
Altcoins will be applicable in the future.

nothing can work alone in this world, so does bitcoin, even though bitcoin is the number one cryptocurrency for now (in 2017), bitcoin still needs other coins to do daily work, for example XVG and XRP can send quickly without having to wait long, while bitcoin has to wait hours for one transaction, what if there are hundreds of transactions at a time?
it can be said that altcoin and bitcoin are brothers who cannot be separated, because both need each other.

Yes, We need altcoins at the future. because altcoins is the future currency and will be needed at the future.

Besides we have Bitcoin. We also need Altcoin as our coin collection and reserves in the future. Seeing the coins in Altcoin are very good and potential for us to invest then I also decided to invest in Ethereum as one of Altcoin at that time. And I also bought Litecoin, EOS and Ripple as additional coins for this year.
