Yes the other reason we need alternative coins, bitcoin need competitors (alternative coins) in every instrument of investment the competitors is needed to make cryptocurrencies world to be more better in the future.

I agree, bitcoin could not make it without the help of the altcoin in the market. The king could only be called that way if he has a kingdoms to manage... And they bitcoin use to be. He was exist because of alt in the marketplace.

Yes, altcoins can reach for the more specific purposes. People can use it as exchange tools, a company uses them to support its community or products, and Exchanges benefit them for trading. I think there are many purposes that can be reached by altoins and cannot by bitcoin.
