exactly right, I have been a member since September, and I have 245 activity, if I  2 year ago to be submit now even though senior will be, but newbie at the moment, this is not fair this is not justice.

This is correct bitcoin lower its rank because of not proper way judgement in terms of ranking into a position the newly comer will suffered there rules due to a merit system.The efforts will goes down to low level position in order to post day and day.

Isint that even more difficult to rank up? Why is that call lowered its rank? I am someone that is very frustrated with this rule also they should limit the post per day or some other rules for leveling up and not merit alone. This act of them make all the forum members difficult to level up also and it is not fair to legit poster.

They got stricter rules there! I think this is the best time for us to shine! And convince more users from the other forum to be here.. They get strict the better for us because many of their members will be leaving btt and come here to learn the art of crypto and to earn as well. Let us spread the news of altcoin talks existence. Buying and selling has occurred since the merit regulation was applied. Make this simple. if you are able to make a quality post you can do it. Make this forum friendly with you and always remember the rules in this forum.

karma method is most fair and profitable like in Reddit, it's very useful because if you just post spam you will have a negative karma and can't join signature campaigns.... merit system is ridicoulous and I hope many people will come here after this decision

Honestly I think the only people who can benefit from it are those High Rankers there. If they have an ability to reflenish a Smerit on their account they can create a dummy to send there.

I see some reasons from the new regulation in the crypto forum:
1. They want to lessen the number of Junior Member
2. They want to minimize the bad quality posts
3. They want to improve the capability and professionalism of their members
4. They want to remind all members that it is not easy to be a crypto forum member
5. And so on.

However, we should not think too much about it. Our forum (altcoinstalks) has a better regulation for me. Karma has a better concept than Merit. Here, it is not too difficult to reach the higher ranks if we want to be more active in forum. However, of course we must also improve our quality in making posts / comments / new topics. Higher ranks should reflect that the knowledge and experience of them are more / higher than the lower ranks. So, by this ideology, we will always try to improve our knowledge and capability better day to day.

I think bitcoin limits the number of people who are posting shit post but they don't have the way to filter scam ICO.
