Welcome to the weekly DeepOnion newsletter! From all of us at DeepOnion we'd like to extend our warmest gratitude and thank you sincerely for your support. Good things happened in the last week concerning DeepOnion.

As always we hope that you enjoyed our awesome airdrop, it's my favorite day of the week!

We want to start this Newsletter talking about our weekly donation. Every week we are setting aside 200 $ONIONs from the airdrop fund for donations to different charities.

We appreciate the hard work of some Peaceful and Humanity organizations like The Tor Project and Wikileaks. Please feel free to suggest more organizations in the forum.

Updates

It's time for a quick round-up of everything about DeepOnion.

• DeepVault web application is in final stages of development and testing. The devs are trying to fix some final bugs so it´ll be ready in some days.
  Android wallet – The moderators tested the wallet and it works perfectly. The transaction time is really fast (just a few seconds) and we tried to use it to buy some stuff in the shop with excellent results. We have some little things to fix, and it´ll be ready. We expect to have a 100% functional Android wallet in the next few weeks.
• Wallet GUI - We are looking to offer several wallet styles that can be changed by the user in the settings and a complete wallet design makeover. Our devs are taking care, and it´ll be ready as soon as possible.
• Exchanges - Next.Exchange is still working to implement DeepOnion and go live soon. We contacted several exchanges to know their conditions and decide which is the best. We´ll have news about this in the next weeks. Also, you can help us to list DeepOnion on Lescovex Trading Platform! Just follow the link and vote for ONIONs, please! Lescovex Voting
• VoteCentral – Our mods tested it, and we´re fixing some things. We´ll add the VIP members to our Vote Central. We have plans to introduce this new feature to all the community in the upcoming weeks. Stay tuned.
• DeepOnion faucet is now live! Thanks to the user @RedOnions for this beautiful job, we appreciate it. You can find the link below: http://deeponion.space/. Bitcoin is currently sitting at $10,971.70 (we were at $9,924.57 the last week) that´s a weekly increment of 10.55%. Let's delve into this a little closer. That's $1047.13 of profit since the last week. Today´s Market Cap is at $462,662,074,981 and the 24h Volume is at $19,363,657,917.



$Onion has a price of $3.72 each coin and it´s sitting at 34k satoshis (one week ago we were talking about $3.37 and 34k satoshis respectively). We've so much development news and releases planned for 2018 so we don´t need to be worried about the price, it´s just a matter of time to see a recovery. As ever, a big thank you to the community for this and all the hard work by the #DevelopmentTeam .

Mining

The current active workers are 507 (the last week were 466). The actual hashrate is 1,097.150 GH/s (2,311.186 GH/s was the past week) and the current difficulty is 136,244.44493790 (136,244.44493790 was 7 days ago). Thanks to @Youngwebs for provide these stadistics in his website.



Community

We had 12.460 members the last week. Now we are talking of 12.697, which means 237 more people than the last week. We´re glad that our community is growing every day. Congratulations guys, well deserved!! Keep up the good work.

This week saw the 33rd round of Airdrops and another successful free distribution of $Onions to our members.

Remember, airdrops are a critical component of the DeepOnion distribution and the more Onions we share, the greater decentralisation, the greater the anonymity and the easier it is for others to benefit from this coin.
