With the new rules, I believe we will see signature campaigns not just from ICOs but also from projects already listed on CMC in this forum. A good example is this https://twitter.com/mylalaworld/status/1097774148917460992

Rank will drop if you do not have the required post count for new rank
if you have the required new post count you can escape the new factors
if not you will have to fullfill the other requirements to rank up

What kind of requirement is this? Its far more worse than BitcoinTalk. Unless BitcoinTalk retain the users previous rank while AltscoinTalk demoted What kind of practises is this Im sure it will be a huge blow. to AltcoinsTalk subcription  its not good.

we are now using same requirements as btt , except we do not require merit, karma is only used for higher ranks, and as a stopper if negative. 
i didn't demote users, i increased the post requirements as a results, the users that did not have the new post count got demoted

it is both, however i am rolling the karma part very slowly, need to observe effects while rolling it
thus not sharing much info about this for now, because this part is not 100% set yet

My rank hasj just dropped to Full Member again. I am ok with it. If this rank rules will continue. But still it is not seems true that dropping somehow. I saw many forums that they changed the rank status. But never saw the rank drop. It should be valid for from now on.

Still we love this forum and will follow its rules!

Snr rank and below will no longer experience any more rank requirement changes for now
maybe in the far future i might change the requirements again, but there are no plans to do so for now.

Not a question. Even though I got de-ranked I really love these new changes it is for the good of Altcointalks and for anyone that is angry/sad about this I want to say look at the bright side your account is now more valuable so this change is also good for you.

A question I do not know if it is related or not but can we have the option to see from where our Karma come from? I mean the reason I got +1 or -1 karma? I think adding this will be nice since the higher ranking will require Kamra!

Previously, only Sr. members and above can give +/- karma. What about now? My rank went down to Full member from Sr. Member but my option to give +/- karma was retained.

I am surprised with this requirement type. So, the number of posts will change depending on the time for rank up. And it will be permanent around 2,000 posts someday.

Karma system must be more strict as well if you want to make this forum become the same with forum X.

I've no idea anymore, just hope it really works to improve forum.
But I still cannot imagine how strict our forum regulation with the large number of posts requirement + karma system.

We can conclude the above statement:
how many posts to become HERO?
how many activities to become a HERO?

for higher ranks, this will change gradually , till it reaches aprox. double the current amount
however that will be gradual over a 1-3 month period

Here we are in the process of making ALTCOINS TALKS more interesting and exceeding efforts is necessary to support the platform. Assuming this forum will become more strict in postings and regulations to upgrade the  ranking and discussion into another level. This will become great place where everyone helps each other as much as they can.

what i can say is now i am taking a break, and later will head into this again and see how to tune things for the benifit of users and bounties

It is really crucial to implement new terms which there are possibility of getting hurt the community that gives color to make the forum much better or bitter, to distract or attract them.

Being the admin is necessary to look every aspects of the present, past, and the future situation. The evaluation of activities, members, postings quality, and campaigns or businesses partnership should always be considered because this is not about short term platform rather the long term quality forum.

Normally the reactions are pro or anti.

Hopefully we take this change as great opportunity as we are in the first stage of ALTCOINS TALKS greatness. Still we are in the process of making things right and better.

This new rank system has dropped many members' rank but it will really benefit the members of this forum as well as the projects CEOs who will bring bounties in this forum. I support this rank system. Any new update should be clear from admin like how many activity will be required for specific rank. Some ranks is now clear from this discussion but we need more info.

Even 300 activities for Sr. Member is not that much. On the other hand, I agree with other members that Karma should not be required for lower ranks. You have said right. 300 activities are't too much for Sr. Member. Admin is trying to develop this forum by doing very hard work. Thanks admin for his dedication.
