Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Bitcoin Votality
« on: Today at 02:48:21 AM »
Yes, if Bitcoin is a stable coin, many people will still reject it today. Because of the volatility, investors are encouraged to invest in it because of the possible long-term profit when the price rises significantly. The creator of Bitcoin was so smart in thinking about the mechanics. If Satoshi were present today, many people would thank him for creating Bitcoin, which has changed countless people's lives.
High volatility is not enough, we need something more important from BTC: a price that consistently increases over time and BTC investors will profit from holding for more than 4 years. This is completely different from memecoins: their volatility is also very high, but we do not see stable growth in their price chart.

I am a long-term holder, I often don't care much about market volatility, I focus on DCA and identify potential profit-taking zones when the bullrun occurs. I consider high volatility to be a good basis for BTC and the crypto market to get better media coverage, attract the attention of potential investors and create a foundation for the next cycles.

Yes, but I guess in the beginning, everyone here is concern about Bitcoin's volality as this is the first time that we have seen this kind of investment or asset. Although I have some stocks as well, but didn't know at the start that there's a lot of ups and down.

But then when we gain experience and uses it, then we identify strategies like DCA and HODLing or even trading to be a better options and then not worry about what the market will throw at us. And then the cycle itself, we undestand how to take advantage of a bear market, which for some they don't wanted to see. But for us, it's that time to accumulate as we can buy cheap Bitcoin and wait for the next cycle to occur before we sell and make profits.

Voting / Re: Hold ETH or invest in ERC-20 tokens?
« on: Today at 01:46:42 AM »
Ethereum coin is second only to Bitcoin, so even though it is an ERC-20 platform, it is in high demand and preferred by investors. But it has expensive gas fees which annoys the holders a bit, I do very few transactions mainly because of gas fees. Two transactions a week and most towards other platforms. Because this is the most economical way to save gas fees, Ethereum coins are popular in terms of holding. As an altcoin it will do well as it is reliable enough and has remained in the market faithfully for a long time.
Even though ethereum gas fees have now decreased, many still use other platforms such as Solana, BSC, TRC 20 etc. They are already used to the platform. because we know previously that the gas fee for making transactions on the ethereum network is expensive and it will make us lose a lot of funds just to make transactions

Yeah, I think another factor that might sway investors from ETH and go to other altcoin is that it's more centralized as before and there is this thought that a few can control unlike before. And then the gas fees as well and the oompetition. And I think that's why we have seen a lot of project in the last 5-6 years trying to compete with ETH because they know that it has it's own drawback when it moved to POS.

Sorry for the noob question as I haven't notice it before,

In the letter of guarantee it says that it is signed by our main account: 1xxxxxxxx,

This this bitcoin address change though or do you guys really exposed your main account here? What if someone reported to the authorities that this is your main bitcoin address?

I think if they really fight, but not perform like actors, then 2 minutes will be enough for this fight. I remember that Mike Tyson style was always aggressive. Not many of his fights went full distance. If he knocked out his opponent, then that happened in first part of the fight. I have watched Jake and Logan Paul fights previously, and I think that Jake will jump on a Mike like a hurricane like his brother Logan jumped on Floyd Mayweather in the very start of their fight. And Mike will welcome Jake with his counterpunch.

Aging is a thing though. There's a reason athletes retire. Mike Tyson at 58 is not even remotely the same as Mike Tyson at his prime. Jake Paul knows that, that's why he made this fight happen.
I think pressuring hard and swarming Jake with punches from the first minute could be a good game plan for Tyson, not the other way around. He still has a lot of power, but he must be lacking in stamina at his age.
I'll also recommend that, and his team knows that Tyson still has the power, but that power cannot keep up after round 5 because age will come into play. If Paul is still good past the fifth round, then he has a good chance because he has the youth to last the fight.
So Tyson's chance is to knock him out in the early rounds, and if he fails, Paul might knock him out.

I agree that if Tyson wants to win then he should KO Paul in the first three rounds at least because the longer the fight goes on, the riskier it is for Mike Tyson because of the youth advantage of Paul who has the stamina to go the distance.

Yep, and with that way Tyson is promoting this fight, and hearing words coming from his mouth as if we are watching prime Tyson, it could be that he is looking to psyche and motivate himself and then beat the hell out of Jake Paul and win by KO.

And it will be a big news as we all have been wanting to see somewhat beat Paul by KO to humble himself.

There are many stories that I read from the comments of the members above, most of the members were helped economically by investing in crypto. This is very good, crypto helps our lives a lot. I also get another income from crypto and really enjoy trading in crypto
It is true. Many members have got a help from crypto. It can improve their financial because they can get additional income from crypto. However, people must understand that crypto also can bring negative impact. If people don't have good knowledge, they can be trapped on scams and bad coins. This potentially brings to the loss of the money.

Not only you, I also get side income from crypto. I join signature campaign, I do trading, and I join investment. These are 3 side jobs that I can do in crypto field. I think there are many people also do the same way. Sure, crypto is very helpful, crypto makes us to have some side income.

Right and with that, it's going to be a learning experience for everyone. I as myself was a victim of scam during my first months of joining the crypto world. But it's all good, at least I was able to wake up and see that not all glitters is gold here.

Signature campaign payments is where majority of us here here started. And then we venture from it, going into trading with the money that we earn and so one and now everyone is financially enjoying freedom thru our crypto profits.

I'm mean it's easy decision for them, they have been in the game for so long, this family is on the business of money making and we all know that in Bitcoin, if you learn to invest early and then just hold, your money will grow.

So I'm not surprised by it, this is the new era, and the sooner they got the better for them and for the market in general. And even if they have poured a lot of money here, I doubt that they can manipulate an inch of the market in their favor. Everyone here is seriously for the money so it doesn't matter if you are a average joe or whales like this traditional family.

I will probably go with the Dallas Mavericks here at -1.5, it's their homecourt and it's crucial that they don't want a game 7 as maybe the young body of OKC might take over. And so I'm seeing Luka taking over and then Kyrie finally discovering his offense in this series.

It will be a defensive game as well, maybe a good bet as well is under.

For the Nuggets vs Wolves, I'm leaning towards the Nuggets in game 7.

I already made my bet for Fury to win by decision here. ML is also a great bet, but Fury by decision is 3.x.

And so this is going to be historic fight for boxing fans as this is a unification fight and for sure we doesn't want to miss this big fight. And it looks like Fury was lighter than usual, meaning he wants more movement and will try to outbox as much as he can Usyk.

So goodluck to anyone here.

Shakur vs Loma will give the fans about 12 rounds of because they are both good at avoiding getting hit. Shakurt however is not a finisher.
It's going to be a snoozefest for some/many fans. I'm already reading comments about how boring this is going to be and I think that's also a factor whether the promoters want to push this fight or not. It will probably not generate the amount of PPV buys and Gate that they wanted.

This is the reason why i chooses Tank Davis over Shakur Stevenson because the latter is not a crowd drawer and his style is more on the defensive, snore fest indeed if Loma and Shakur would meet in the ring. At this stage of his career, Loma needs money fights and Tank Davis could give him that.

I do agree, I would love to see Davis vs Loma as well in the ring. But still depends on how Bob Arum will approach the camp of Tank for this great fight. And now that there are controversies as whether organizations are capping a 12 lbs in every fight moving forward are rehydration clause.

But anyways, let's see, a power puncher vs the technical skills of Loma that will be a great match-up to see and we will wait who will prevail in this kind of fights. And it's going to be unpredictable.

Sa ngayon medyo positive ang movement natin, umabot na ng at least $67k ang green candle tayo nitong 7 days. Pero mas malaki pa ang ini-expect natin presyo sa susunod na buwan lalo na pag tapos ng taon na to.

So talagang patience is the key ika nga dito sa market na to, minsan maiisip natin na mag benta, pero HODL lang talaga at kailagang tatagan natin ang loob at look in the bigger picture.

I see no surprise here.

You can see in the chart in the OP that the price always goes down a little bit after the halving. It skyrocket a few months later.

Yeah, give it like 6 months for the price to go up, or at least at the end of this year, it's a good measuring stick. And personally, I think the pattern will still continue, that every halving we will see new all time high.

So it's just a matter of time and what will be the top price for this year.

And as we all know, conservative estimates is $100k so that will be the likely target or at least double what is the previous all time high which is $69k.

I find it quite odd that more mixers aren't jumping in to fill the void left by their predecessors, though.
Maybe they are released but we didn't hear about them yet, and it takes time to built something that actually works for mixing and privacy.
They must be much better protected now if they want to survive attacks and seizure from regulators, and this is going to be even more intense in future.

I figure that the only way you are going to get something in this space through is by developing it under a pseudonym, like how Satoshi did with Bitcoin.
It sure is getting very risky developing anything related with privacy these days, if your identity is known to public than you can expect someone knocking on your door soon.

Sooner or later though these new mixers will need some form of promotion. And there could be signature campaigns here. But yeah, the risk involved, and it's going to be like a cat and mouse game moving forward. New mixers created new algo to be anonymous as they can be and then government trying to break that and stop them before they become so huge and being "used" by criminals to hide everything.

And it echoes to me what Bitmixer.io says when they closed like 6 years ago. And they might be right after all.  :-[

Once the majority of the bitcoins in circulation enters the hands of the Asset managers, bitcoin and the entire crypto market will become just as normal as the forex market, stock market, gold market and the rest, and, yeah, this will happen sooner than any of us think, and this coming bull run may be the very last for anyone wanting to make significant gains from crypto to do so.
What if Bitcoin halving doesn't really bring something to the table but is the reason why we have other run? Bitcoin is becoming a financial asset to many institutional investors and they are attracted to it because of the gains but with people like them here, what we do have as usual meal in every cycle might be difficult to see.

However, I think altcoins in general will be the next thing to hunt, look at how meme coins were largely demanded, even some of the crypto YouTube channels I lookup to that doesn't like shitcoins all of a sudden begin to talk about meme coins and that's because of the profit.
What is currently happening is the ETF effect, It is still too early for the halving effect to occur because it will take months to reach its maximum. In fact, it is not impossible that there will actually be a correction first. In fact it will be good, which can make many investors compete to buy and this will be a boost for bitcoin to be able to improve. So stay patient, everything definitely needs to be processed and not instant.

Give it at least six months for the market to see the effect of the halving. And I think the ETF will also come sooner and it's not also price-in as what we might be thinking because of that $73k run that we have pre-halving. I wouldn't call it a correction, but there could be just one leg down for us before the parabolic rise. Currently, market has bounce back to $65k-$66k, but still way from the last all time high. Which means we still need some time for it to grow and as I have said, the end of the year will be a good measuring stick as to where this bull run will go. But I can see that we might be seeing a huge price before the end of the year, we could be near six digit or around $100k and then next year will be the final push for a even higher price and top bull run new all time high.

Let's just respect his opinion though, but it's obvious that he either doesn't know what Bitcoin or crypto it because he is old school, or doesn't want to embrace changes. For sure though, with the emergence of AI, I wouldn't be surprised as well that he is against it.  ;D

And we are really in the age wherein we are moving towards digital, cashless society wherein Bitcoin and crypto will be in the middle of it. And we all know that if there are individuals who are skeptics about it, sooner or later they will be left behind because in the next 10-30 years crypto will take over.
