What about you? Do you suffer because of gambling, or is it not worth the time to keep P&L since it's not significant?

I don't calculate all my winnings and losses, but you are right: the longer you play, the higher your chances to lose, so in the end, we end up failing because we become addicted to playing. I like to believe I'm at a loss because there are more losses than winnings.

I can count the number of times I won but cannot the losses, I guess gamblers are like that they like to remember their winnings and forget their losses.
Yeah exactly, only positive outcome can be remembered most of the time as that is something psychological. Same here mate, I also don't care about my winnings and losses what's important is that I am having fun with the game winning is just a bonus to me but yeah we all know that the reality is winning can be very elusive.

In a country where gambling is legal, and there are no regulations about age restrictions

Do You Think Responsible Gambling Should Be Taught In School to combat the young people from

Getting addicted to gambling, and do you think the school has the sole responsibility in educating the

Young one with a gambling addiction as they have the capability and knowledge about gambling

Education since they are educators.
Well I think it should and maybe the Department of Education should include this in the curriculum to further educate students about the possibilities in gambling as we all know that it is rampant in most countries worldwide. But the problem here is that they don't care about this since they are also responsible of giving permits to these gambling platforms and operators which can affect the possibilities of gaining smaller profits as students are more aware of the business if they are included in the curriculum but educators can actually warns their students about irresponsible gambling without it being approved from the department itself.

Now bitcoin correction running so when Notcoin will listed that time were more down that will be more bad for Notcoin i also think that.
Yes, let's see what's going to happen to this one, I'm pretty sure that it will get some hype in start because the whales on Binance always want to earn something from those new projects that get listed on their launchpad. I have seen such projects getting 10x value within days and I have also seen some of those losing a lot of value within short duration.
If Bitcoin continues to fall by the time it is listed on Binance, the maximum price increase likely won't be reached. But this doesn't mean that Notcoin will dump since, as far as I know, each Notcoin miners only have a small portion of the supply and I do not believe they can dump it since not all of them sell their token immediately. So all we can do is hope that Bitcoin increases dramatically on May 16 so that Notcoin will follow.
Alt season may also pump it more than the current price of Notcoin at the moment so lucky for those are able to accumulate much during airdrops unfortunately for me I have no luck on it as I am late. TON would be the next Solana I guess as we all know SOL makes the Memecoins come to life and look at it right now, its' currently has tons of tokens created on that network and TON is now catching up the craze.

Hey mates, good day..

Crypto messaging apps are a new thing in the digital world. They're trying to combine the best of messaging apps like Telegram with the features of cryptocurrency wallets and DeFi tools. They promise to make it easy to manage your digital assets and make cryptocurrency transactions. Some people might find them interesting if they're into DeFi and cryptocurrency trading.

What do you think about crypto messaging apps? Can they really change the way we use digital assets, or are just there..
Well for me that would be a very huge leap from the traditional messaging apps we are currently using into something like the new innovation in technological advancement in messaging because of the fact that we can store and trade within the app itself without any hassle so for me that is considered a plus feature just like Telegram which value security and fast messaging.

And it seems imposible for me to use my Bitcoin for that purpose unless someone is selling weapons for Bitcoins as we are talking about war in here.

There are many warlike situations going on in the world, right now, so there is no need of thinking about Hokuto no Ken.
Beside wars between countries there are clashes between ethnic groups... between religious or political factions... civil unrests... state vs. criminals ...
In your opinion, what's currently the usage of BTC in those situations?

If you find yourself in one of those situations,
you need to protect your family,
you need a gun,
without gun you and your family die,
you have electricity and internet,
you are in your country, not in the USA,
you don't know the person who sells guns,

would you prefer to have bitcoins, gold or US banknotes at hand?
Well I should also take the seller into consideration if they accept Bitcoin but if not fiat would be another option during transactions. Here in my country, yeah having a licensed gun would be great decision and investment for protection purposes as we are currently facing internal and external threats.

The strategic concept to better living nowadays that the governments are syphoning every perspective opportunities is that we should adapt to keep the laws but stay hopeless that the government would help you and began to do your usuals and living your comfort zone to face different dimensions of life be lifes prosperities is about networking and hardworking and thriving undistractedly.
We should I think not rely on the government help but instead make efforts to stand on our own feet even in the worst case scenario because that has happened to me and my family way back during pandemic and the disastrous supertyphoon that hit our place so hard. We are the only one who can reshape and get out from hardships in life.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: ATH of bitcoin 2025 ??
« on: Today at 07:07:33 PM »
Bitcoin will touch what price at ATH 2025.
By looking at Bitcoin's movement during the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, can we predict what price Bitcoin will touch ATH?
By seeing at the chart on coingecko and CMC, it seems that bitcoin will touch more than 100K USD.
After the ETF was approved, bitcoin fell..
What happened ??
But for now, bitcoin increase again.

well I for one would like to know the highest number for all of 2025 and the exact day it happens. Then I could sell all my btc and buy it back cheaper.

So I will guess $123,456.78 on 03/03/2025 is the peak number for all of 2025 and the peak day
Those numbers really are unique and there is a high possibility of hitting that price range as well. I know there are whales lurking here on this forum and maybe they will play important role in achieving that goal since we are all waiting for Bitcoins price to break the hundred thousand dollar range.

I will say that I hope that the pattern will be repeated, i.e. that the halving will have a positive effect on the price as before. What somewhat disturbed the usual sequence of events was the new ATH before the halving, but there was a good reason for that (spot ETFs), but also the fact that in the last bear market we broke even the ATH from 2017 in a negative sense, of course .

All this only indicates that we must always be prepared for unexpected situations that can significantly disrupt what we consider a logical sequence of events. Therefore, unless something unforeseen happens, I hope that we will again have a big bull run in the near future.
Yeah I think the spot ETF really is the reason why ATH goes off too early as we all know it usually happens after the said halving event. Such a great news makes ATH so maybe we have to expect more in the coming days.

Philippines (Tagalog) / Re: Mempool Observer Topic
« on: Today at 06:49:49 PM »
Baka may naghahabol ng priority kabayan kaya ganyan sya kataas o baka naman ay marami nagrerebump ng fee kaya naging pataasan yung show ng mempool matutuwa mga miners dyan kapag ganyan kasi mataas reward.

As of this post nasa 19sats/vb yung lowest priority medyo mas mababa compared dyan sa fee update mo kabayan.
Ang ganda ng fees ngayon mga kabayan, kung meron kayong mga pending na transactions, okay na okay niyo na siya gawin ngayon.

Heto ang update sa ngayon:

Code: [Select]
No Priority      Low Priority         Medium Priority     High Priority
10 sat/vB          13 sat/vB            13 sat/vB          13 sat/vB
$0.86               $1.11                  $1.11             $1.11
Wow!

Tingin ko nga ay may magaganap na malaking pag-angat this coming 2025 sa presyo ni Bitcoin or maybe in the fourt quarter this year feel ko lang talaga since napaaga ang new ATH dahil siguro sa Bitcoin ETF kaya the history does not repeat itself this time or maybe a little bit early lang siguro let's just wait for the next events baka may bull run pa na magaganap this year or baka early 2025.

Gambling discussion / Re: Suitable for persons 18 plus to gamble
« on: May 09, 2024, 06:34:04 PM »
In many countries people under 18 are concerned minors, therefore they can't do many things. Gambling is on of them. It is true that if people under 18 are involved in gambling then it will certainly affect their academic life which is not good for society and the country.
But gambling itself especially how it was handled and served has loopholes that is why it is not a 100% accurate that none of the players are really old enough for the gambling activities. Here in my place illegal gambling is rampant and minors are able to jump into it right away but of course they do take the risks not only getting possible losses and distraction academically but also the risk of getting caught by authorities.

Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling for All?
« on: May 09, 2024, 06:28:59 PM »
If you are experienced or not doesn't matter. In gambling you have to depend on luck. If you are lucky then you can win a big jackpot. If you are experienced all you can do is to be a bit more cautious. So I believe everyone can do gambling but it would be better if they take it as a fun. It is true that you can win occasional jackpot but it is not to be taken as a source of income.
Yeah I agree. No matter what and how much we gamble and regardless of bets we had as long as we are having fun it's what really is for and nothing else because wnning a jackpot is just one in a million and it is just a bonus for trying our luck.

The Chinese government's attitude towards crypto won't change so easily. But if that changes, it could lead to a revolution in cryptocurrency. But what I understand is why crypto is being discouraged in that country. It has now become a diplomatic issue. Since the US has a positive view on crypto, the Chinese government will never take it positively. This is the main problem. But if the Chinese government were to favor its country's miners, the country would benefit the most from crypto and add a new dimension to cryptocurrencies. I hope that the attitude of the government of that country will definitely change in the future.
China has experienced times when it accepted crypto, but due to environmentally damaging mining reasons and other issues, ultimately banned it from being accepted. Maybe it's certain that they want to be able to master or control crypto, especially Bitcoin, but they can't do it and this is a problem in itself for the future of crypto development in their country. So, because their country's system is that power rests with the state, no one will be able to intervene in any decision made by the highest leadership, in contrast to European/US countries which may be flexible in dealing with crypto.
We believe that one day China will be able to accept crypto again, but it's not easy to know when that will happen.
It's true, they realize that the very limited supply of bitcoin will have a negative impact on their economic condition. If they continue to give permission for the use of bitcoin, Bitcoin will be used by China's enemies to destroy China. So China's move to not give permission to Bitcoin is quite the right decision.
But China do have a specific place just for crypto like Hong Kong. That is I think the only place there that you can trade cryptocurrency. I am not that sure if there is another city aside from Hong Kong but yeah I just don't know why some people think and said that Bitcoin is banned in China.

I think the UAE has quite skewed the poll by a bit, because most Emiratis themselves do not own any crypto. Actually, there are a ton of foreigners who come from other countries and move to Dubai. Most of these people are very rich and chances are they brought some crypto with them. So actually what is being compared in that statistic is not the number of citizens (or even residents) who own crypto in each country, but rather the population density of crypto-owners, including people who just happen to be visiting the countries at the time.
For me this is more accurate, as I can see on social media a lot of foreigners are settling in Dubai for the above reason which is the zero tax thing. I don't think it was based on numbers of people living in a specific country as well but instead it's literally crypto owners alone but I just don't know how they do the survey as we all know hundreds of possible wallet addresses can be owned by just one person so yeah no doubt UAE is on the top list.

With the advancement of digital technology we are moving towards cashless society. In future people will use more credit card , online payment and carry less cash. That doesn't mean fiat currency will disappear. Also the use of digital currency/cryptocurrency will be even more common. Cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin have been gaining ground sharply and this trend will continue.
Paper money might disappear but they do have already the digital version of it  so it will still go head to head along with Bitcoin depending on transactions. I can also see that cashless society will be achieved fully in the future because of digital assets that can be used in all kinds of transactions.
