I think this thread is reversed between title and content , right ?

Like which king and queen should be chosen, I'm confused about it, damnnn!
But forced to continue choosing, I will choose Ethereum for my long term because Ethereum was born from a small community.
Bitcoin was also born from a small community, but the price is already expensive and increasing again will be difficult, in contrast to Ethereum, which still costs around 2,400 USD.
If Ethereum rises to a price of 24,000 USD, then that is a multiple of 10 of 2,400 USD and for Bitcoin of course if the current price is around 44,000 to increase by 10x it will be 440,000 USD, amazing!

a difficult choice to choose between bitcoin and eth, but if you have confidence, there is no harm in leaving ETH for a moment, but I personally don't put my money into Bitcoin, even though I know that Bitcoin will give you multiples. future profits.
Bitcoin is intended for long-term investment and has specific targets for release
while ETH is my daily trade to make short term profits by buying coins on the network.

What's Your Opinion On This Matter

If you are still holding Ethereum, I will advise you to keep holding because from YTD of Bitcoin and ETH, BTC has a year to-date of 158% and ETH has about $98 which means that ETH is still lagging behind due to security issues label on it by SEC, but rest assure that more growth is coming because by market cap, Ethereum is number 2 in the coin market cap, as soon as Bitcoin stop pumping, the ETH pump will surely start base on my past experience. Vitalik has also announced the new road map of Ethereum which means that more development is coming underway.

Another reason why I will advise you to hold ETH instead of Bitcoin is that when you many ETH when the price wants to grow, it gives more value and weighs a single Ethereum, so imagine that you own plenty of ETH and a single of them later worth $10,000 in the future just the way Bitcoin was back then, you might lose the opportunity to have one and will be moving around with a single bitcoin. ETH has the potential to make more growth than BTC in the long run.

Personally, I would assess the risks and potential benefits in this situation. Both assets - ETH and BTC - hold value. Selling a significant portion of ETH for a whole Bitcoin could be a lucrative investment. However, it's crucial to specify the conditions, such as the proportion of ETH to be sold.

agree, Ethereum is always being the first choice for investment beside bitcoin at the second.
Because I don't have big fund for my investment.
I will choose cheaper coins for priority.
BOTH are good for investment.

I don't need to sell majority of my Altcoins(not only Ethereum but other altcoins that in my custody) just to own whole bitcoin .
I have been in this hunt for many years now though I almost get my whole bitcoin if Pandemic did not happened .
so I believe that Ethereum and other altcoins that I hold are good enough to make me richer aside from my Bitcoin holding when Altcoin season happens after Halving and the bull of bitcoin comes to end .

ETH has the potential to make more growth than BTC in the long run.
It is true that ETH recovers slower than BTC, but the potential for ETH price increase is still huge in coming cycle. For example, in the 2020 cycle, BTC increased from $3.5K to $69K = x20, and ETH increased from $80 to $5K = x60. BTC halving has not yet taken place, so the cash flow advantage is still for BTC instead of top altcoins. But after the halving, altseason will come and ETH will continue to lead the strong growth of altcoins thanks to its high liquidity and user safety.

This year is also the time to launch new Ethereum updates like CanCun, and Layer-2s like Arbitrum and Optimism are attracting capital inflows into Ethereum. The potential of ETH token is truly huge.

Personally, I will keep my Ethereum and don't want to convert to Bitcoin. Because however, in my opinion, ethereum is also a crypto investment that is very worth it to prepare for the bullish era in the future. Plus, my capital in this crypto investment is not too big, so I hope I can have some top diversified altcoins besides Ethereum too. but of course the main investment is in Bitcoin and I still set aside some money to increase my Bitcoin accumulation. But not by converting some of the coins I have into Bitcoin, not like that.

Rather than not having bitcoin, I would sell some of the ETH if I had it for bitcoin, there is even an investor who believes his portfolio is 100% BTC.

You just have to choose which one to adjust, this can also be in any percentage for ETH and BTC, it's that easy isn't it, I won't deny it because ETH is the best altcoin with a very large ecosystem as well as a growing community under it, so you have enough confidence there then choose that coin.

I myself focus on Bitcoin, if I have additional capital, I honestly want to buy ETH as a second asset for the long term.

So basically I'm so rich that I own a lot of ETH worth $40k or more, yet I do not own a single Bitcoin at all? I dunno, that sounds backward. If it were me, I'd prioritize buying Bitcoin first considering the recent hype surrounding halving and ETF is quite big. On the other hand, if I love speculative assets, I'd rather use my money to farm airdrop on a project like Cosmos or Solana. So basically, I'm not going to sell my ETH for Bitcoin, I'd probably use it to farm airdrops or buy many speculative assets since that seems to be my goal from the beginning. I'd still collect Bitcoin though, it would be stupid to ignore it altogether.

I like Ethereum for every function it give to investors and trust they make throught the years of the make. My choice is to hold Ethereum for more 2 years because it will be much worth than before main because is for populariy gain. So i would not sell my Ethereum for any other reason that will be lead.

No I won't sell all of the ETH that I own to buy an entire Bitcoin but instead I would Hold my ETH and continue to accumulate Bitcoin by following a DCA strategy.

That's what I'm already doing, and I do have a few more good altcoins in my portfolio. I believe ETH can grow in value in this bull run and it would be unwise to sell it.

Exactly mate , why there is a need to sell our Ethereum when we knew that it is safer than other coins ?though it is Bitcoin that we are talking about yet we can hold them both together to have a better options in earning.

Aside from Ethereum I also have 4 other altcoins and correct that we must accumulate more bitcoin but also have some altcoins for diversifications.

I think before halving is good time to DCA Bitcoin, after halving is time to invest in altcoins to welcome altseason. Now that Bitcoin halving is approaching, I plan to sell all BTC to buy ETH and top coins to have greater asset growth during the bullrun. Bitcoin has completed its mission to lead the crypto market through winter of 2022 & 2023.

Probably yes. On bitcoin more manipulation happens + in the long run, the percentage of income will also be higher than in eth. I don't deny that eth may overtake bitcoin in terms of capitalization. But let's face it - it will be far from soon.

P.S. Honestly? Ideally save both assets for the future. Not transferring from one /to the other. Such complex decisions - make your own. If you have finally decided on such an action, you should yourself, argue the decision.  ;)

This seems to be a very interesting question. But if I had initially bought Ethereum in large amount, then selling majority of my Ethereum for Bitcoin won't make any sense because i should have been able to make some Bitcoin purchase directly. But in regards to the question, i don't think i would be doing that.

But if we are to take advantage of Bitcoin fall in price, then I won't think twice before selling. I might even sell all to take good advantage of the fall. It's all about making profit

The first question is: Have you owned Bitcoin before and how big is the percentage between Bitcoin and ethereum assets? because if we already have Bitcoin then in my opinion it's better to stay in ETH. However, eth is one of the top coins with great potential and follows the rise of BTC. So the possibility of getting high profits is actually quite high. unless it is ordinary altcoins which in fact are like gambling when we hold.

I think that end of year 2023 have start with go wave of bullish market condition, people have start to feel nostalgic about years when Bitcoin reach all time high record price so the fast the better they start to sell other assets from bags count the Ethereum. Positive thing is also that halving is at start in April 2024 year so be prepare if you want some x2 , x3 profits in your bag.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are two of the most promising coins in the coin market, so when we build our investment portfolios, Bitcoin and Ethereum make up the majority of our portfolios.  Before investing we must plan that this part of our money we will invest in Bitcoin and this amount we will invest in Ethereum. Ethereum is worth less than Bitcoin so we can buy an Ethereum or two if we want but we can't buy a whole Bitcoin if we want. Bitcoin may have more dollar volume but Ethereum may be ahead in terms of total coin purchases.

If I have 5000 dollars now and I plan to invest this 5000 dollars then of course 3000 dollars I will invest in Bitcoin and 2000 dollars I will invest in Ethereum. This is my investment strategy but other investors may plan their investment differently.

It depends on which coin will be your priority, I think we shouldn't sell our Ethereum to own an entire bitcoin.
We can invest on both.
Bitcoin and Ethereum are being favourite investment.
If you confident in bitcoin, you can do it.
I personally invest in bitcoin and Ethereum, also other altcoins.

The priority is, of course, the one that will provide the best profits, and it seems that both ETH and BTC are equally good; you just need to adjust it to the funds you have, because if investing in BTC is very expensive, of course you need more funds to buy units apart from using a certain scheme with installments.Of course, it's fine if you want to sell ETH to be able to add funds to the BTC investment because the rating is better, but I prefer to keep holding it and buy it with other funds to buy BTC. Of course, that's a better action.Just invest in a few coins and don't overdo it because it will be difficult to control, so it could be ineffective.

Currently, the price of Ethereum is still relatively cheap because, when you look at the portfolio that Ethereum has, the price movement is very significant and shows price increases from year to year. So it's better to keep holding Ethereum, and if you need money, then take a small profit of around 10–20 percent. to attract profits so that when the price is more expensive than now, you can still get a lot of profit from Ethereum.

I think a little differently in that regard. I'll explain why below. There are several controversial points, namely:

- Depends on how much money was earned in the asset (ETH) + at what price the initial purchases were made. This is an important point;

- Depends on what the period ( holding) of BTC will be;

- What is the stage of the market, at the time of transfer from one asset to another.

- What exactly You expect from this manipulation.

P.S. These are the points to look out for when flipping from one asset to another.

I prefer to hold both because so far the 2 coins with the most adoption are Bitcoin and Ethereum. Even including the bull market driven by the halving, Ethereum will control the increase for altcoins. After the main focus of the Bitcoin halving is usually investors who have made a fortune to start investing their finances in Altcoins and the one that dominates the most is Ethereum and its derivatives.

Your choice is very smart because so far Bitcoin will be approaching halving, and usually FOMO will occur, which will give the price an increase, and of course you have to take advantage of moments like that to seek as much profit as you can. Meanwhile, Ethereum will definitely follow Bitcoin's price movements, so You have to be careful because usually when the halving is over the price will collapse instantly.

We know Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies. And Ethereum is the king of altcoins. Any one of the two kings must be retained. If I consider from my side, of course I will hold Ethereum and I will not sell my Ethereum to buy Bitcoin. Because on the one hand I can buy an Ethereum for 2600 dollars according to the current price and on the other hand I get a limited amount of Bitcoins with this same amount of dollars. If Bitcoin reaches $100,000 then Ethereum will naturally reach $10,000. So all in all I would hold Ethereum and never buy Bitcoin by selling Ethereum.

Same like you, I won't sell our Ethereum to buy bitcoin.

Maybe I will buy SOL, DOT, TRX or others.

It's a matter of choice, and it's good to have a diversified portfolio, but if I'm asked if I can sell all my ETH to buy one bitcoin, I will say no. Although I don't hold any good volumes of ETH currently compared to what I hold in bitcoin, I still have them in my wallet and have my bitcoin, as there is a possibility of one moving higher than the other. It's a matter of what we want and, at the same time, what will give us a higher profit at the same time.

Just a few hours after the bitcoin ETF was approved and listed, we started experiencing a positive pump on Eth and a little price decline on bitcoin, which I was holding at the time and was able to give me a small profit compared to how bitcoin was dropping a bit, which I had to cash out of immediately before I rebought when the price dropped back.

It seems like the OP is also confused about choosing between Ethereum and Bitcoin because they both have technology that is clearly very different.
The algorithm is also different and the coin creation design is also different, the wallet creation, goals, vision and mission, etc. are also different.
Maybe my answer to this topic is almost the same as the others, namely choosing between Ethereum and Bitcoin 50% and 50%.
Unfortunately, now I don't have Ethereum and I only have a little Bitcoin and that's all I have from the Mixer Tumbler campaign signature.

Personally, I do not see the point of selling etherium to buy bitcoin. they grow about the same and etherium grows even a little better, if you sell etherium, then only to buy other altcoins that can show much higher growth than bitcoin or etherium itself, now there are many projects that have proven themselves in the market and it is better to look at them.

The main coin that is very suitable for investment for me is Bitcoin, while to grow the total Bitcoin owned you can take advantage of several altcoins that you have mentioned, indeed there are currently many altcoins in circulation, but my suggestion is that it is better to buy Altcoins that have potential such as Ethereum, BNB and Sol in my opinion are enough.

Does not seem. Because ETH is also an asset that is worth it for investment. And previously I had also diversified some of it into Bitcoin and some into ETH. So each has its own composition and we hope that both will be optimal.

Because investment sometimes requires diversification to minimize losses and optimize profits. and this is one way because we don't know at what number Bitcoin can reach ATH, and neither does ETH. So it would be better to prepare both, right?

Ethereum is currently very suitable for long-term investment because the price is still cheap and there is still an opportunity to increase the price again. Ethereum developers are currently struggling to make their products useful for many people and, of course, will provide high selling value when Ethereum usage increases. Until now, the Ethereum asset that I have is still well stored, and I will sell it when the price of Ethereum becomes very expensive.

me too, diversifying is good way to gain profit and several people said It reduces the risk. I agree with this because we can spread in many coins. Bitcoin is the biggest fund and we can buy Ethereum, Solana, BNB, Polkadot.

If you have a path like that, then it is one of the best choices to keep growing the assets you have in cryptocurrency. As long as you can control everything and record it in a very neat portfolio, it will be easy for you to make a lot of profit in cryptocurrency. The next key is to have very high patience.

I want to ask you mate, in accordance with the OP's question " Would you sell the majority of your ETH to own an entire Bitcoin? ".  Because I read your opinion just share your opinion about the good and advantages of Ethereum to hold?
You prefer in Ethereum or bitcoin for holding.  I personally prefer in bitcoin , I think bitcoin is my priority coin to hold.  Ethereum is just an alternative coin besides bitcoin.

I think last month, I saw a request of Ethereum ETF, that's to tell you that after Bitcoin, we have influencial investors that hold some substantial amount of ETH that want Ethereum as Bitcoin competitor but we all know that what they are doing is expensive joke because there is no way ethereum going to come close to Bitcoin, it will always be superior ahead of Ethereum in any competition.

I think people should stop this competition of a thing between coins, what kill coins faster than anything is competition because that's when people pray for downfall of them just like the way Ethereum community is praying for Solana to die, the same way Bitcoin community is praying for Bitcoin cash and Bitcoin SV to die because of this beef between the community. One thing I know, we all know the truth that one's a coin has dominant, it will remain and that's why bitcoin has remain number, and ethereum as king of altcoins.

Anyways, etherium is good and bitcoin is better. I don't mind selling most of my etherium to acquire bitcoin. The difference is clear. The little bitcoin you have today maybe huge tomorrow. I don't know why I choose bitcoin to any other crypto. It gives me more profit. Yes, I will sell majority of my etherium to own an entire bitcoin.

Agree, having both is better,  bitcoin and ethereum are very potential coins. As we know there are negatis issuws at the past about ethereum  and bitcoin. But both still on the top.
I dont sell our ethereum to own an entire bitcoin, but for now I will accumulate bitcoin, ethereum and other altcoins such as BNB, SOL, DOT ,LINK etc.
Negative issues will always exist because Ethereum and Bitcoin are coins with very expensive prices, so it is natural that there are many negative issues circulating because the aim is to bring down the price of these coins and provide an opportunity for whales to enter even more when prices are cheap.

It means you have a strong mentality because you dare to sell all your Ethereum to replace it with Bitcoin.
But if your calculations prefer profit alone, maybe Ethereum is more profitable than Bitcoin, but Bitcoin has advantages that Ethereum doesn't have.
The choice between Ethereum and Bitcoin is very difficult except that I have 4 Ethereum and 4 Bitcoin in my wallet at the moment so I can take advantage if I take the "Earn" feature in my local market which is probably only 3-4% of income per year.

Of course, Bitcoin has advantages that Ethereum doesn't have, in terms of the supply between Bitcoin and Ethereum, which is very different, and then the security factor that Bitcoin has is more convincing because everything is recorded neatly. However, Ethereum has Smart Contract technology, ERC20 technology, and many more. which Bitcoin doesn't have, so I think both have advantages and disadvantages, so you have to choose wisely and carefully which coin you want to buy.

Actually, it depends on the situation. But I think it will be hard choice. But I personally think that holding bitcoin is better than holding any other coin, if there is a whole bitcoin holding then it will be more better. Why I mentioned the situation is that it would be better to own entire bitcoin by selling the majority of Ethereum coins, but definitely not at a loss.
If ever the situation is such that you see bitcoin at a very good DIP price but then ethereum is at a good price. So in that case I think it would not be good to miss the chance. For example, if the price of Bitcoin is 16k and I have some Ethereum and the price of Ethereum is 2.5k, then I will not hesitate to sell my Ethereum and buy whole bitcoin. But I don't think this kind of situation will ever come easily.

Yes, you are right that having Bitcoin and continuing to hold Bitcoin has a smaller risk than having altcoins. For now, I think the price of Bitcoin will never fall to a lower price again because it is already on the ETF list, which makes it easy to buy Bitcoin, so there will be lots of it. Who will buy Bitcoin quickly when the price collapses so that it doesn't fall to the bottom price, and at least until the future, halving Bitcoin will still remain above? Ethereum has the potential to reach a price of $5k when the bull run occurs, so now is the most appropriate moment to buy as many as possible and then save until next year.

Bitcoin has always been a priority for investors in crypto, almost most investors prefer bitcoin over others. but if I had to choose two coins to choose from, I would choose bitcoin and ethereum, but if there was only one choice I would definitely choose bitcoin. So just like you, if the price of bitcoin goes down, I will also sell my ethereum to buy bitcoin. but I don't believe bitcoin will fall to $16K.

People chose Bitcoin not because it's the first coin, they chose it because it has everything about crypto in it, the security, decentralized and more trust but other coins are garbage in the eye of institutional investors but because Ethereum is undervalued by market cap, people are buying it because they believe it can have a run like the next Bitcoin because right now the price has just touches $3k level, this was how Bitcoin was undervalue until it blow out but I'm not sure if Ethereum is ever going to be as big as Bitcoin, Satoshi built it's differently.

It is natural that Bitcoin is made a priority of all digital currencies in circulation because the main coin from Cryptocurrency that was first created was Bitcoin and many places are starting to accept payments using Bitcoin. The very limited supply also has an important influence on investors who prefer Bitcoin over anything else.

You are right bitcoin is a priority for investors, because they think bitcoin is the safest coin to store. but in my opinion ethereum is also a safe coin to hold, so we should be able to diversify it into several potential coins when investing, such as bitcoin, ethereum, BNB and Solana.

Bitcoin is considered a digital currency that has the opportunity to gain very high profits because it takes advantage of unstable price movements and has a very limited supply, making the price potentially very expensive.

Bitcoin's volatility is what makes investors interested in investing, this is true and I agree with this opinion. If bitcoin were a stable currency, perhaps we would lose interest from investors.

Yes, you are right, the movement of up and down Bitcoin prices can be utilized well by investors all over the world and also up to now Bitcoin has always shown an increase in price, so this is what makes world investors increasingly confident in continuing to buy as much Bitcoin as they can because it will be more difficult to get Bitcoin the higher the price.

Bitcoin and Ethereum have the volatility. Ethereum even has a bigger volatility over Bitcoin. That's a reason why people want to invest in Ethereum as well. If Ethereum has no high volatility, people won't be interested in Ethereum. People must focus on Bitcoin only if Bitcoin is the coin with the highest volatility. In fact, we know that altcoins has a higher volatility, including Ethereum.

No, Bitcoin won't have a stable price as long as there is no institution or person that controls the price. The price of Bitcoin will depend on the demand in the market only. The demand is hard to predict, it will always changes.

If I have a lot of EtH (otherwise then use word majority) I would actually sell them to get Bitcoin. The main reason would be that I trust Bitcoin more. For years I have witnessed how it always lead the market, how it is first to gain and gain more than ETH in % ratio. Secondary reason, if I really have a lot of ETH, then diversifying eggs into several baskets is always good. Third reason - I dont like ETH that much anymore. I dont like how its transaction fees went up from cents to dollars and never go back. Bitcoin also had moments with high transaction fees, but they usually return to normal.

I think ethereum is the best altcoin of them all
It is for a good reason that it is the second one in the martketcap size.

I dont think things should be 100% btc or 100% eth.

If you have 19-20 eth, you can sell some and hold like 5 eth and 0.75 btc, or something like that.

So you keep your self exposed to bitcoin and to ethereum price
correct , having them both is one of the perfect journey in crypto , actually in the past when people calling Ethereum as shitcoin I do believe people now started to realized what is best and which is better and now that Ethereum have showed them all the benefits of having and using this diversification is now  the perfect way to invest .

Agree, having both is better,  bitcoin and ethereum are very potential coins. As we know there are negatis issuws at the past about ethereum  and bitcoin. But both still on the top.

Actually they are not potentially coins because they are proven mate , have proved many times from the past how strong and safer those coins to be in our folioto be kept long time.
this is also the reason why I have ETH and BTC for long time now while other coins have been sold already.

Exactly, your only choice for owning coins is Ethereum and Bitcoin is a very smart choice because so far the price of Bitcoin has always followed the price of Ethereum. I also heard information that Ethereum will enter ETF trading so this will provide a good opportunity for them. which is still holding Ethereum.

This is a powerful coin, we can see that by the way it has grown over the last six months, there is no doubt that even buying this coin now you can be on the plus side, I realize that it has already given a lot of pluses but still it has not shown its full potential yet.

Yes, you are absolutely right, this coin is very popular and the most important thing is that it is very well supported by the community, which, as we see, pours money very well into the development of the coin and into its blockchain, the price also makes us very happy, I don’t think it will overtake Ethereum I can know, but I know that they are very assertive and can show us good interest rates from investing in them.

Looking at how we talk about competition, I’m talking about the fact that Solana is growing very rapidly and brings investors very good profits, Ethereum does not have the same growth as Solana and therefore Solana is now more popular as a means of investment.

I agree with you that they are king and queen, but the OP said just one that you will prefer to the other for some reasons. I will sell my Etherum amd buy Bitcoin because bitcoin is the king and decentralized. But Etherum cannot do with bitcoin, and it is centralized, and can crash one day. I love to keep all my investment in my custody which Etherum is with a third party.

Solana is a coin that will have a good future and looking at its current popularity, I predict it could become a competitor to ethereum in the future, after beating BNB. I'm sure Solana will move to attack Ethereum.

Hmmm, kind of hard to answer, but no I will not.

Aside from Bitcoin, Ethereum is the 2nd coin that I want to hold the most, and if I'm a newbie, and I want to buy an altcoin with the lowest risk possible, I'll choose Ethereum. Why would I sell some of my ETH just to buy Bitcoin where in fact, holding it for a few years will yield me some profits whatever happens. Just buying it and holding without any worry, and you will gain profits when you sell it during the bull run. The best thing is that, you will not worry about stress that much because you will not think that Ethereum nor Bitcoin will be a scam project. :)

Don't see your Ethereum just to buy Bitcoin. If you can, just buy both instead.

Many people have the same opinion as you, ethereum is the second priority coin after bitcoin, why should we sell ethereum to buy bitcoin if we can have both. A difficult question when comparing bitcoin and ethereum, because the majority's definition would be the same - it would be best to have both in our wallets.

Yes, you are right, it is better to have both so that when the price of one coin goes up you will still make a profit, because if you only buy Bitcoin and don't buy Ethereum when the price goes up then you will miss the opportunity to make a profit.

I agree with the opinion that says there is no need to compare Bitcoin and Ethereum, it's better to have both, but I think this is true. buy both and hold on. Instead we waste time comparing the two, because both have good popularity and are always a priority in investment.

When buying both, this is a very smart choice because as you said, time will not be wasted waiting for the uncertain, it is better to immediately take action and enjoy the profits when both rise again, I see the price of bitcoin on the exchange has started to return recovered and this had a good influence on Ethereum price movements as well.

Both bitcoin and ethereum are the priority coins of many people. So it's difficult to choose one, because most investors prefer diversification, being able to buy lots of potential coins for investment.

When it's hard to choose one, why don't you choose both? It's better to have these two coins so that when they both go up you can get a lot of profit. However, you also need to know that prices do not always rise and you have to be prepared when the prices of these two coins fall, which will reduce the value of the asset.

Owning both bitcoin and ethereum is the best way to go in the long term. but if I had to choose, I would choose bitcoin because bitcoin is my priority coin. Everyone has their own considerations and beliefs, you can do what you think is best

I also really agree with your choice because so far only Bitcoin has a very bright future, Bitcoin also has a very limited supply so the price has the potential to become very expensive someday, so it is very suitable for long-term investment.

This limited supply of bitcoin will make bitcoin very expensive in the future. I also have bitcoin in my wallet, but not as much as I have altcoins. because 75% of my crypto set is in altcoins, of course top coins.

That's right, not all altcoins can provide good price increases in the future because we won't know how the altcoin you own will develop. One example is Ethereum. Currently, Ethereum doesn't want to update the development of the network weaknesses they have, so there is a possibility that The future of the Ethereum network collapsed because it had no more users.

It's obvious though that Bitcoin has given us big profits, even if you just hold for a year and you timing the market that you brought it at a lower price, it will make x2 at least at the current price of around $70,000.

So yeah, why not? nothing to hold against the best altcoins, but I will say that I'm a Bitcoin maximalist and I only chooses to stay with Bitcoin. And if ever I invest altcoins in the past, I will sell them right away if I made profits already and then shift back everything to Bitcoin.

Yes, it's better to divide your assets well because so far no one can guarantee that altcoins will last long, sometimes altcoins will also rebrand without your knowledge because maybe you are busy working in the real world, so all the assets you have are in altcoins it will no longer be useful, in contrast to Bitcoin which is already valid and there is a guarantee of profit for those who can wait for years.

The profits that come from Bitcoin are indeed massive due to good market movement sometimes, but who says no to altcoins as well? Just as Bitcoin guarantees profits, some altcoins can also guarantee profit when monitored properly and cashed out at the right time. Take a look at how BNB performed during the recent Bitcoin uptrend, reaching as much as $600. Imagine buying BNB at $100 or $200; one could have made 6× or 3× profits. Other altcoin like ETH also made an impressive price increase during that time.

But the thing with these altcoin projects is that most of us literally don't trust the market. They can be easily manipulated but can also be impressive at times. I think short-term trading of these altcoins would make better sense rather than a long-term investment plan.

That's right, that way at least we can get a lot of potential profit when the price of coins on the exchange goes up, but you have to buy potential altcoins and never get into meme coins or shitcoins which are really scary because there is no guarantee of profit there.

Everyone gets big profits when the prices of their coins are increasing high on exchanges. I think it is a common thing, everyone experiences the same thing as you. People can define potential altcoins in a different way. Some people define it as top altcoins with good fundamentals, they assume the potential coins must have great fundamentals. But other people may assume the potential coins as every coin that has a chance to give them big profits, including meme coins or shit coins. Some people can get big profits from meme coins or shitcoins, it is the fact.

It's true that some people rely on meme coins for their profits. where if we take the right coin meme and patiently monitor it we will definitely get fantastic profits, and the profits from the meme are put into the main coin such as BTC or ETH

Everyone has an analysis and opinion about potential coins, they can consider coins that are at the top of potential coins, there are those who think as you say coins that will provide profits are potential coins. It all depends on the courage to take risks and the ability to research and analyze

Talking about meme coins, then we cannot forget Doge coin.  Dogecoin was the first meme coin that used to have no price, but now Dogecoin is sought after by many people.
And for now it seems like the Solana network meme coin is the one most people are looking for, but it's true that we have to be careful when holding this meme coin.
Meme coins rarely reach the ATH price twice, so if you hold a meme coin and it has already reached the peak price.  you should leave the meme coin and return to Top coins.

When we don't have much time to look at price movements of meme coins, it is better to buy coins with potential such as BNB, Ethereum and Solana, which in my opinion have less risk because you don't have to look at market conditions all the time.

There is no doubt that BNB, Ethereum and Solana are coins that have the potential to be held long-term after Bitcoin. This is safer and of course the risk is not as big as mem coin, because we know meme coin is a hype coin which we have to always monitor in the market, because we can get trapped if we miss out and don't sell when the price is high.

Since Dogecoin was hyped because its price increased very high at that time, since then many meme coins have been created.  one of which is Shiba Inu which is also quite successful, and lots of other meme coins on the BSC and Solana networks, many also from other Blockchains.

Shib, Doge and Pepe are good meme coins, you are sure to get lucky later on. Indeed, with the increase in Doge coin at that time, lots of meme coins emerged. There are those who are serious, there are also those who just take advantage of the moment. So it's true what many people do, by not holding onto meme coins for a long time.  Buy and sell when the price is high.  Because in reality, many Meme coins are unable to reach a new ATH again, after the meme coin reaches its highest price.

How do you now get a meme coin that will pump because I think it's a coordinated pump where some group of whales just decide the coin they are going to pump and do their settings and plans and then excite the plans quietly. Now, you that know nothing about the coin will be in one side until after the coin has been pumped and then you rush in and buy. The whales makes you shill more of the coins and then they exit the coin and makes you as an exit liquidity without knowing and then you bear the loss until the coin becomes valueless.

Always avoid meme coins.

Currently, there are only a few days left until the halving and there is still no good news to come. triggering an increase in Bitcoin prices again.

It's not like during the halving we will see a correction, as many miners will sell their bitcoins. And there will likely be a big correction in altcoins, including meme coins. It's best to keep holding, but I don't hold meme coin because it's very risky

That's right, a price correction will definitely occur when the halving is over, so it's best if we have assets in the form of bitcoin or altcoin then immediately exchange them for fiat currency USDT or USD to be safer. When bitcoin has touched the base price then we can enter bitcoin again.

It is difficult to find out the basic price of bitcoin during a correction, it is easier during a bearish season. Maybe we think this is the basic price when there is a decline, but it turns out the price has fallen again. A correction will occur any time before the price of bitcoin will rise again

When the halving is over, there is a possibility that the price of bitcoin will fall even further because in the market there will certainly be many people selling bitcoin at prices that are still high.

But other people may assume the potential coins as every coin that has a chance to give them big profits, including meme coins or shit coins. Some people can get big profits from meme coins or shitcoins, it is the fact.
I will never have only ethereum or never only bitcoin but the amount of money I will have will be part bitcoin, part ethereum and part all other coins in the market. But I can say that even if I had all the coins in my investment, there would be more bitcoin then ethereum and then every other coin in the market. I would never sell all ethereum to invest in bitcoin and never invest in ethereum only. I will try my best to invest in all the important coins in the market so that if one of them goes up, I have a good chance of making a profit. This is just my personal opinion, other people may have different opinions.

Diversification in investment is the best step to increase opportunities and minimize losses because we have lots of coins. but there are always priority coins like bitcoin and ethereum. The other coins are only a small part of our assets, I do that

Instead of thinking about other coins, I prefer to focus on Bitcoin and Ethereum. I see a very good opportunity in these two coins. Ethereum will always follow bitcoin price movements and Ethereum is also being developed to be better able to enter the ETF.

This is what those who prefer safe coins do, and so do I. Most of sata's assets are in bitcoin and ethereum, and that's almost 75% of my crypto assets. i don't have time to do research, so i prefer to invest in bitcoin and ethereum

By believing in Bitcoin and Ethereum, it has become a smart choice for making long-term investments. By taking advantage of the price movements of these two coins, we can make a lot of profit. The price conditions for Bitcoin and Ethereum in the market are currently entering a price recovery process.

For me, I don't want to sell most of my Ethereum just to buy one Bitcoin. Instead, I pair Ethereum and Bitcoin together on Bitget's smart portfolio. This way, if one goes up in price, I make money on the other one. I think Bitcoin might go up first before Ethereum. If that happens, I'll get more Ethereum from having them paired. Then, I'll unpair them and wait for Ethereum's bigger price increase to make the most profit.
