Is there any loss of privacy while using 2 Factor authentication?
If you use Google Authenticator on an android phone (where essentially you have linked your google id), to authenticate the login of a third party website, can google link your google id with the credentials of the third party website?

It depends on what you're using it for.  Bitcoin isn't inherently anonymous, but other coins are designed to be.  Monero for instance will scramble a bunch of transactions together so you can't see what goes where or in what amounts.  For that sort of thing, 2-Factor authentication would still keep you anonymous.

Be really careful with 2FA. If you have a spare phone or tablet, use that only for the 2FA.
And always use the plane mode when you open the 2FA.

Good call, its just too likely that we lose our phone out somewhere, and it would be best if whatever devices stays in your home at all times and is safe from breaking.. otherwise you could be set up for a bad bad time.
