Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Difference between Trading and Gambling

there is a combination for both trading and gambling which is binary option. its like reading the chart and at the same time betting whichever the trend goes whether up or down within a period of time.
Binary option is not a combination for both trading and gambling. Binary option is basically gambling and nothing more than that.
Gambling is a form of trading by the way. Consider it as a profession especially in sportsbet, you can always make an informed decision. Team analysis, league analysis, current form of players, home or away match and many other factors can be used to determine a result that may not be exact but very close to win you bet.
very different friend, let's see how we start doing crypto trading and gambling. Gambling is as if we are trying our luck, whether we are lucky or not, like when we gamble on football clubs. Well, friends, of course you know how it operates, is it the same as crypto trading? I don't think so, friend, because crypto trading is not like gambling as you say. The difference between trading crypto and gambling is that trading requires a lot of strategy and knowledge, while gambling only relies on luck.

I am a crypto holder, I am loyal to DCA and hold crypto for 1-2 years, however I am still interested in regular trading, especially learning technical analysis methods to predict market fluctuations.. Normally, I code strategies on TradingView to backtest, but gradually I feel that backtesting is very boring and does not create much emotion in the market, so I look for Demo Accounts on TradingView. I tried Binance's Mock Trading but didn't really like it because it required me to use my phone regularly to buy/sell. I often use a computer to work with TradingView so Paper Trade feature is the most suitable choice for me.

Demo Account has both advantages (No risk, Self-analysis, No stress, Practice, Confidence, Statistics) and disadvantages (Slippage, Commissions, Psychology, Adjustment)[1]. Experiences with Demo Account help me learn a lot of things such as managing trading time, choosing the right time frame, and most importantly, managing psychology. Demo Account also gives me more motivation to monitor market fluctuations every week, helping me understand the psychology of other investors in the market and communicate with them more effectively.

After all, Demo Account helps me to be better prepared in both knowledge and psychology in the process of holding crypto and waiting for the distribution zone in 2025. Many professional traders I know also maintain Demo Account to continuously practice with many markets. I think every trader should use a Demo Account to practice their skills and psychology before officially entering the market with real money.

Have you been using Demo Account? On which platform do you use Demo Account? Do you think Demo Account is important for your investment journey?

[1] 6 advantages and 4 disadvantages of a demo account
using a demo account is very good for us so that it increases our knowledge in analyzing trading in the market and also increases our insight into how to trade well, I also use a demo account to increase my insight in trading because I know that by learning to use this demo account, we can increase knowledge in trading... this is even more suitable for beginners in crypto trading so they know how to buy/sell at the right time and they also don't need to spend capital for it...

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Predict BTC price at Halving
« on: February 14, 2024, 02:07:19 PM »
It would be playing around about its ATH 69k down to 50k in halving period but pretty sure that there would really be some massive dump or correction before it happens.
After halving then price would really be starting to climb up gradually until on 2025 but of course it wont really be that a smooth sail ride as always. It would rather be a bumpy
ride as we do go ahead. The important thing on here is that you should really be  that versatile and be that adaptive on whatever situation that we might be ending up into.
We dont know on what the future holds and its up to you whether you would really be making yourself that adaptive and act according into it.
I agree with you, the price of bitcoin will continue to rise even though it is experiencing a slight decline but after it goes down it goes back up again because that is the investor's game, that is how they trade so that way they can get big profits... I am also sure, friend, that the price of bitcoin will reaching $60k and above this year or next year, and now what we do is be patient and wait for that price... pray a lot, friend, so that what we dream of will be achieved in the future.

I have voted for $41k - $50k because I believe that it is more likely to happen. The recent pump took BTC to $50.3k but it was unable to cross the $51k mark and now it is lurking around $48/49k. I think BTC will drop down a bit more before the halving. My theory is (this is a theory, not actual analysis) that the whales are trying to create momentum in the market and making people believe that the bull market is here. In reality, they will sell when more people will invest and drop the market to a point where they can accumulate more BTC at a lower price.

This is not impossible and by the looks of it, I think this is exactly what is happening in the market. If we stick to this, then it is likely that BTC will stay in the range to $41k to $50k. This is just a theory so I am not sure myself. I will just keep on HODLing.
All of these are just our predictions, friends, we don't know how much Bitcoin's price will exceed predictions in the future, so what we do now is choose your own theory, hold or sell. but my suggestion is that you take advantage of such situations to gain profits every day, even every hour, because this is a very good opportunity for long-term trading... but each person's way of trading is definitely different, I'm just giving advice.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Illicit crypto transactions
« on: February 14, 2024, 01:53:16 PM »
Illicit crypto transactions hit $24.2B in 2023, a notable drop. Figures are conservative estimates, likely to rise next year as more illegal addresses are uncovered.

Seeing the journey of Bitcoin transactions is very interesting, making investors even more enthusiastic about trading and getting big profits from market movements. let's look at the graph above, in 2021-2022 the increase in bitcoin is so big compared to before and here everyone who holds bitcoin gets big profits, as the years go by bitcoin transactions decrease so much that most people are confused and afraid, whether bitcoin will experience a decline which is continuous. but we as investors must be calm in such conditions otherwise you will experience big losses.

you have to be careful with a website that gives coins for free and even gets them easily, most of them now have a lot of manipulation and there are also websites that ask for your wallet address... please avoid all of them, friends, I'm worried if you do that, I'm afraid your personal wallet will be hacked. and your balance will be lost without our knowledge, so be careful with freebies.
It's better for you not to do all that, my advice is if you are looking for easy money, but remember everything we have to try. You can take part in the social media bounty campaign and sign on this forum.

Thanks buddy! Nevertheless, I don't just jump in on every and any events. I mostly take part in events hosted by exchanges. I'm also weary of any event that requires me to put in my personal details. I don't participate.
good, if you don't follow this event because we can experience failure so that your wishes will not be achieved... I hope you succeed in starting trading and become better than before so that you become a professional trader, friend, I hope you understand more about world developments crypto and deepen your knowledge of the crypto market so that you can properly manage your assets.

I really agree with what you said sir, trading is very different and even the way to do it is also different... why are those who say that trading is the same as gambling, because they don't know how to trade and they only hear from other people's words so they say things like .. if they did it directly how to trade, then they would say the same as we say..
In terms of method, it is very different, even in terms of theory, it is even more different, people who say that trading is the same as gambling, they are very stupid.

I don't understand what you are saying, an application or a market update adds features so that we can see market movements. If you add this feature to a market, it will be easier for everyone to see market movements and they can use this feature as their trading strategy.
I also agree with you sir, this is a positive development for the market and this launch is very good to use, hopefully in the future the market will provide more new features so that it is easier for traders to carry out transactions.

It was not $47k but it increased above $48k today. I am so happy that Bitcoin can increase again gradually after it dropped to $42k -$43k, it lasted for few weeks. I think we may see the Bitcoin price to try crossing $50k very soon. I hope what was happening in January 11, will happen again in this month (February 11). At that date, the price of Bitcoin could reach a new high rate. I expect the new high rate will be above $50k.

Yes, the scheme may be same again. If Bitcoin can increase above $50k, I think it may drop again around $44k - $45k. But it won't be a long time because we will have Bitcoin halving schedule in the near future.

No matter if Bitcoin will drop again ,it's just correction. I agree with you Bitcoin will drop again around $ 45K. But it will increase again. Because bitcoin will touch new ATH next year. So, It's too long to wait.
But keep hold, because many investors predicted Bitcoin will have New ATH around $ 150K. It's fantastic, if will happens.
we can see the price movement of bitcoin now that it is about to reach $50k, is it possible that bitcoin's price will reach $70k? I think it could be because there are so many enthusiasts or people who use bitcoin as their advice, bitcoin even has a stronger attraction for investors to buy bitcoin..
Even though this is just a prediction, maybe this will happen this year or next year, rest assured that someone who holds Bitcoin will be a rich person in the future. and thank God for all that, friend.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: HODLing Altcoins

Experience needs along time to gain it. So, It's nature for newbies if they just know hype of the coins. They didn't know about anything in crypto, they should learn about crypto, project, man behind the team.
I'm not a senior investor,  At the beginning I started to learn about crypto and asked to other .  For newbies, just hold top coins is good way to do. Don't buy because hype and FOMO
Hype and FOMO are one of the problems in the cryptocurrency world: many people have become victims of these two factors, and most of the victims are people who are new to cryptocurrencies.

We can't blame them, because I think the cause is the lack of knowledge they had at the time. But with experiences like that, they can learn more and try to deepen their knowledge on how to invest in this cryptocurrency.

Everything comes with experience, but it takes a long time to gain experience. And they may have to go through difficult times.
If a beginner invests in crypto without much knowledge about the world of crypto, it will make him confused about investing and will even make him fall, that's why in investing we have to understand everything and also have to learn more or seek more knowledge. otherwise a beginner will reduce failure in his investment.
should we turn on crypto development? I don't think so, because that's the mistake of beginners who don't want to learn about crypto and the world of the crypto market.

« on: February 13, 2024, 03:50:18 AM »
I don't hold altcoins. The only altcoin I have held for 2 years now is Shiba . And I didn't intentionally hold it. It is just that it crashed on me and I have been holding it right from the last bull run and I am currently in almost -80% losses. I cannot seem at lose and I just keep holding till the next bull run if something miraculous can happen.

The only altcoins that have the capacity to be held for long time is Ethereum and BNB. Others are yet to prove themselves.
If you are holding an altcoin then the price of the altcoin you are holding experiences a price decline and also you are experiencing a very large loss of 80% in conditions like this it is better for you to hold it until you have no loss or gain.. holding the altcoin system is better short term than long term and we have to monitor it all the time so that if there is a price increase or vice versa you can take quick action.

« on: February 11, 2024, 03:48:48 PM »
That's right, I think crypto trading is not gambling as they imagine, but in crypto trading we have to study a lot of charts and know more about market movements and even have to look for a lot of information from the coins we buy, with that you will be able to start trading well so that you get big profits... if we don't have the skills in all of that, it's possible that you will suffer losses, because trading crypto is not as easy as imagined, you have to try... it's very different when trading crypto and gambling.

44
recently many new projects have emerged and bring a good future, but we have to be careful about new projects because now new projects are full of fraud and you have to be careful when starting to invest.. choose coins that have been registered on coinmarket because they have The real success of the project is just for the project team to develop the platform so that it can improve in the future... my suggestion is to choose a ranking of 1-20 on the coinmarket because many people transact and use it.

45
we see now the price of bitcoin has almost reached $50k, this is our opportunity to save bitcoin for the future. The more people transact or people who use Bitcoin, the more it will increase the price of Bitcoin in the market, so all coins will be affected as well, just like Bitcoin. I am sure that bitcoin will continue to develop in the future and many people will use blockchain technology in the future, all of this will make the price of bitcoin increase and the market volume will also increase.
