When it comes to investment, I do my due diligence because that is what guides me to knowing and having information about the project I want to invest my funds into. As an investor, there are some basic knowledge you have to know about what ever project you want to put your funds into. From your due diligence, you could decipher if such project is genuine or scam so as not to lose your funds.

I do not invest in any projects anymore because I have already convinced myself that all investment projects are scams. I may invest something in some dex and provide some liquidity to earn their tokens. That's the only investment I care about. When it comes to investing in Bitcoin, I am not buying Bitcoin. I am saving my signature earnings, and all of them are in Bitcoin at this moment.

If you talk about Telegram scammers, I never respond to them. When a random person knock me on telegram and I don't know them, I do not waste my time by talking to them.

I personally do not respond to unknown telegram DMs. If I receive a PM on telegram and I do not know the sender, I immediately report and block the sender because I already know how they begin with their conversations to luring victims into investing in their scam projects.
Telegram is well known for housing cryptocurrency communities globally and as such, one needs to be very careful with strangers who are scammers claiming to be what they are not. They do that so s to get their victims click phishing links and also investing in their scam projects.

There are many strangers trying to trap someone including you and me who often get DMs of investment solicitations, new projects, free gifts etc.
It is a trap in front of our eyes that does not need to be thought about again and must be directly reported and blocked.

Famous people or group admins never DM directly, they will only send messages in chat, not privately.
I keep myself safe and stay away from scammers with such methods.

With the rate of Bitcoin scam to in the world I today I will say it's cause as a high demand for Bitcoin and the rate in which it appears to benefit than other crypto coins, Bitcoin is more value like and asset it's also used as a payment method in mostly all the website than other crypto coins or cheat coins people sees it as an opportunity, with the high rate of Bitcoin people offer to double the amount of Bitcoin you bought just for you to get away with your money that's the popular scam now website promising to offer you high amount of Bitcoin in return they are all scam just few trading platform are real.
Anytime anyone thinks they can make a dollar, they are going to try and make it. You see it with identity theft, bitcoin scams, altcoin scams, and almost anything you can think of man. I think you just hear more about bitcoin scam due to the value.

You are right. As a community moderator we do not PM first but rather drop message on the chat group tagging who ever that it may concern to respond immediately.
Some scammers go as far as cloning admin username while messaging members of the telegram community they want to infiltrate but they forget that they could easily be spotted. Some go as far as opening a fake telegram community of a fast rising famous project just to lure investors into the group to get them scammed. On several occasions, I have discovered fake telegram community of projects I moderate and got them reported  for immediate actions to avoid further occurrences.

When the desperacy is there to make money, scammers can go to any length just to estort money from people. They do not care about the repercussion of their actions as they already are heartless with no conscience.
Sending PM is part of their tactics because from then they can communicate who ever they can convince to do their biding. Once that is done, they do away with their funds and assets as the case may be.
In other for one to always be on the safe side, blocking of unsolicited PMs from unknown persons is the only remedy. So therefore if you receive a PM from someone not on your contact list, it is expected that you get them reported and blocked instantly.

Some scammers build clone groups and create profiles that look the same on almost any popular project.
They take advantage of every negligence made by the members of these projects.

I get a lot of PMs from scammers, but I ignore them.
And it's better to protect your Telegram account or other social media accounts so that they can't be added to the group automatically,
this will hinder their steps to influence us as active users.

Well, your method is very correct and let the project manager contact you properly and correctly. Maybe there are some Bounty Managers who often get PMs from many fraudulent projects, but I am sure that the Bounty Managers will provide professional service by providing payment in advance and the Bounty Manager will carry out projects that are being developed.

I think it doesn't only happen in Bounty Manager, because project offers like that can sometimes happen in ICOs that are raising funds and they make offers to everyone there and the targets for them are those who don't know about how cryptocurrency works completely so it's very easy to become a victim of fraud.

I get a lot of PMs from scammers, but I ignore them.
And it's better to protect your Telegram account or other social media accounts so that they can't be added to the group automatically,
this will hinder their steps to influence us as active users.

Not only Telegram. But Discord is becoming another scammer heaven. Most of the projects started having their own discord server for community and ticket support systems as well. Scammers are pretending to be the support guy and giving links to create a ticket, which is a phishing scam. Last week, I tried to bridge some ETH from ETH main net to Blast network and I have used owlto.finance and unfortunately, my bridge was blocked due to some reason. So, I joined their discord server to talk with them.

Unfortunately, scammers are faster than the moderators. As soon as I posted my problem on the general chat, they instantly responded to me in public chat and gave a link to join another server and a link to create a ticket. The real support guy responded later. But, I was able to catch him that he is not the real support guy. Otherwise, I could have lost access to my wallet.

The Owito Finance bridge does have poor performance and transactions there take a very long time, but I am sure that the Ethereum you use will still enter, because some time ago I tried to use this platform and the transaction process took a very long time, but in reality the Ethereum Blast network entered the destination wallet. I.

Maybe this should be an important experience for you and not use Owito Finance anymore to make Ethereum transactions.

Well, lets just say that people have eyes for what is truly valuable, bitcoin is valuable, so, it shouldn't be or come as a surprise that we have so many people trying to steal our bitcoin from us, and as a matter of fact, it's not just bitcoin but any crypto currency that is truly worth something, even the ones that are worthless but have a promising future, the scammers and hackers are ready to take any crypto away from us if we loose our guide.

So, to be safe in the space, actually, for the safety of our funds, it's important we always adhere to all security protocols, which requires us keeping our wallets tight and secure at all times.

Yes, you are right, seeing the price of Bitcoin soaring, crime has increased again, hackers are trying to create fake sites that are almost similar to the original ones and make users connect their wallets so that hackers have the potential to steal assets connected to the wallet you use.
