The blockchain is an incorruptible digital ledger of economic transactions that can be programmed to record not just financial transactions but virtually everything of value.

Blockchain - a distributed database that contains information about all transactions carried out by participants in the system. The information is stored in the form of a "chain of blocks", each of which contains a certain number of transactions.

Yeah, blockchain technology is very sophisticated because it doesn't need a third party as a registrar. All transactions will be recapitulated automatically like a banking account book.
