Is my story the same as the story of those of you who have a boss or friend and the boss or friend gambles and loses?
Your boss loses that kind of amount because I presumed that he has the money, more money I mean to gamble. He may lose but we never know that he has won also more than he lost at one time in his gambling activity.
Because maybe he is the boss of the company where I work, so he just goes around gambling without looking around him in the company.
What you said could be like that because I'm also not sure what happened to Boss, this is what shocked me.
Those of you who like to gamble, how much money do you have when you lose when gambling??
Well, zero, d'OH!
Also raw numbers are irrelevant.
$44k might mean 10 years of average wage in Philippine or half of year of wage in Norway.
It could also mean more than all a person has earned in his live or 1% of what he makes a year!
Somebody losing $100 might be in worse situation than somebody losing $5000 so hardly relevant for the persons involved.
What you say could be right or wrong, but this is my boss who owns the private company where I work.
I also don't understand that he gambled and could lose that much money, I just imagine that 44,000 USD is impossible for me to get if I work 4 years or more in this company.
Op to understand your question is one of the major challenged I faced in the thread, and I don't know because I am not from English speaking country. Look at the question
how much money do you have when you lose when gambling??
are you asking the change that's left after losing the game or the amount the gambler loss?
No problem mate, i'm also from country not using English , so my English too bad.
Yeps, I asked like this, if you gamble, how much total money have you lost in gambling?
I'm a little curious about the story. What happened next? Is it the boss's personal money or does it impact the company you work for?
What is most noticeable is that every month's salary from month 1, 2, 3, 4 there is a bottleneck in salary payments. All the workers are complaining and asking why our salaries have been late lately.
My friend (who has a higher position than me) at work finally had the courage to ask the company advisor and finally had an internal discussion (maybe urgently meeting company officials), which finally found out that my boss had lost in gambling, a total of up to 44,000 USD.
What's worse is that my boss gambled and lost his gamble by losing 44,000 USD using company money, part of which was to pay employees. That's why my salary at that time was always late for several months and it made all the employees panic and chaotic because all the employees so far had not made any mistakes or done anything negative.
