BTC Spot ETF is now available on Google Ads

Google was famous for its ban on crypto-related ads in 2018^[1], even videos or content about crypto can be deleted or blocked by Google. One of the crypto YouTube channels I follow had to fight hard with YouTube to keep their videos in 2020. But at the end of 2023, Google allowed crypto-related ads. reappeared, and today 2024.01.29 Google amended its advertising guidelines to allow Bitcoin ETFs to promote their funds.

"Today, Google has revised its advertising guidelines, now permitting cryptocurrency trusts, such as Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), to promote their products. Spot Bitcoin ETF issuers such as BlackRock and Franklin Templeton have wasted no time in marketing their funds, with advertisements already starting to emerge^[2]."

I believe that this move by Google could have a major impact on the visibility and accessibility of the BTC ETF to potential investors. Google is one of the most trusted brands in the world, Google's "vote of confidence" on the legitimacy of BTC will help increase investor confidence in BTC Spot ETFs and BTC itself.

I hope through Google ads we will soon get increased investment in the Bitcoin ETF and the resulting inevitable growth of BTC and the entire crypto market. We've already seen how excited people were when watching FTX's “Don't Miss Out” commercial at Super Bowl 2022, things will get even more explosive when BTC ads appear in every Google app. In my expectation, BTC will reach $150K by 2025 🚀🚀🚀

Google generally wasn't encouraged to delete videos when they should. Nowadays google has started to add those videos in the form of ads about cryptocurrency in various video functions, this is an advertising campaign that is enough to remind people all over the world. Thousands of people will be attracted to cryptocurrency because of advertising on Google, and will start investing in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Google's push towards cryptocurrency is a positive. Now am really hoping that Google will qualify advertisers on proven ways and means as it can be a big slap on its face if scam ads can be allowed to play on its network. As you said, Google will have a lot of work to do to prevent fraudulent content related to crypto. The more potential the market, the more scammers want to exploit!

I believe Google will be able to do that thanks to its potential and professionalism. We have seen Google Cloud partnering with many blockchains, now they will officially allow crypto to appear in their ads. Any exposure online would be beneficial to Bitcoin and the crypto market. Of course, there will be some cons to it as it opens more to those scammers out there, but it outweighs the potential benefits that Bitcoin can get when it's being advertised online, and take note from one of the most famous websites, and the most used search engine online as well. On average, around a billion searches are being done on Google in a day.

When do I see its positive results? I mean some factors can affect it. From its price to its number of holders to the number of users, etc. It's hard to know and determine.

And yes I do agree that Google ads allowing the advertising of BTC Spot ETF have a positive impact, because Google is used by half of the population of this world, and all of them will come to know about BTC. The adoption rate will increase and it's a positive side, I haven't checked the numbers yet, but I assume the volume must have increased. Other than this, those who have there accounts on big investing exchanges like BlackRock, Grayscal,e etc. they must already know about BTC spot etf.

So they are not going to be urged by any ads they will see but those who are not on investing in these platforms they will think for a second to make some investment or consider BTC as one of the investment assets.

By hope for BTC result is just after the MT Gox payment will be done, If I am not wrong then the payment will be completed by October, and if I am right then BTC might make a good move after that.

then I came to the conclusion that it is so obvious when Google realize that bitcoin ETF has been approved and it is more trustworthy than before so that is why they allow advertisers to run ads on Google when they run ads using Google services google will have benefits from it.

True but also seeing this Ad on Google will drive them to invest more on bitcoin while this will ironically give reasons for others to trust bitcoin more since alot of individuals literally trust Google and can`t imagine a life without them.

I think it has a positive impact on bitcoin and crypto currency at the moment but in the long run I doubt because we don't know what scammers are planning and may advertise on Google just to scam others and while we don't know how well bitcoin ETF will fair in the long run since we saw what happened to NFTs after some years, the hype we had for it, has been dropped off by the numbers of scam and other factors that has affected most of them.

Still yet this news will make the bull market begin this year after the coming halving.

Google advertising is bound to bring more investors to Btc spot etf and Btc on CEXs. But this only happens in the US, in my country, I have not seen any ads about crypto on television or legal applications.

In 2017, national TV channels advertised projects such as Indahash for celebrities and CyberMiles as a blockchain to replace Ethereum, but they both failed. I think that by 2025, when the crypto market is very hot, national TV channels will promote crypto again, and I will consider that as the peak of fomo and start to exit the market.

Everything good can be exploited by bad people, but we still believe in the positive effects of BTC Spot ETF Ads on Google services. They can put the thought of investing in BTC and BTC Spot ETF into the subconscious of millions of potential investors.

Google is just a company and operates based on the goals of protecting users, complying with the law and making profits. When not hindered by user and legal issues, Google will not refuse profits ^^

It seems that what you mentioned is appropriate because currently it is clear that the price of Bitcoin has reached more than $50k and it looks like the upcoming bullish $100k will be easy to achieve, prepare all the assets you have because the price will definitely rise sharply and be bullish next year. we should expect more of this about bitcoin ETF since the SEC already has made their approval on them, we can begin to see them been advertise on many sites as well as seeing their ads on the google, they paid for those services by subscribing into them, the bitcoin ETF has made bitcoin more recognized than before as the google made efforts in allowing for the ads on bitcoin ETF.
