« on: Today at 05:12:29 PM »
Making here lively no be the problems but wetin you wan bring come here to talk again became as I see e good better we bring good discussions wey go attracts attention for the people to Chuck mouth join, as I know many things we don talk am and lot of people no go really put eyes again to talk am. Especially any post wey no relate to cryptocurrency dey always go for the spamming board and many people no dey like to join discussed anything wey dey for that sections.
But even as that discussion never finished because weti you don discussed for di threads wey dey dis board, another person don go put mouth with another view point and if the person make mistakes den you go go correct am and if him tok well you can also contribute to knowledge again by supporting him so discussion never finished. Na di continue thing be that. There are lot of things to discuss. I think di Binance officer wey dey custody, e don faint twice and dem say di guy conditions in Nigerian correctional center e dey bad well well. We can bump all these on those topics. And discussion continues again.

I really don't know why dis board is inactive dis days. Well di matter what I dey here dey tok small small dey go. Karma sef na another wahala.

Maybe there are people who can become rich, but the number is very small, and those who can become rich from gambling are not users but those who have businesses in gambling. I myself have suffered more losses than wins, and even if I win, the amount may only be able to recover the amount of my losses, or even not cover it at all.

Casino owners are the ones who are making the most of gambling - Just as you said, it is very difficult to see a normal gambler who would walk out from gambling after hitting big (only a few lucky ones have been able to do it), while some still went back into gambling hoping to hit bigger jackpots but later ended up with nothing.
Exactly, we are all making money for the owners of the casinos and among the losers one lucky win will emerge and probably they would broadcast it in all the social media platforms that someone has won big amount in gambling so the next one might be your turn and try your luck and before you k ow more people would be attracted to play gamble and everyone is determined to win the big amount and there people would win small amount and others would lose. But the lucky winner 🏆 always hit the jackpot.

Demo games and are designed to make a person convinced that he is a true guru, and on euphoria brought a certain deposit. He will even be allowed to win in the beginning - but only up to a certain point. Then he usually loses everything
Lolz!!! That is true, demo would make you to think that you the best in trading and it motivate you to use live account with big amount of money to win big because from the demo account the big amount you use the big amount you win and it will attract you to us the real with big amount amd at the end you loss everything and your body will relax. Even though you have mastered the demo account, you still need to practice the real account with 5-10 dollar until you master the game you are playing.

Op I agreed with you. Gambling has really helps Nigerians youth very well. All the thugs that were disturbing people on the local streets, stealing phones and other belongings have now channelled themselves to gambling and the streets are free from them. And the unemployment rate in the country, the Youth have engaged themselves in gambling to survive and it is favoring them. Even though they are not winning all the time, but whenever they win they use it to feed and cloth themselves. So the disturbance on the poor people on the streets have been reduced.

Once you are addicted to gambling, it is difficult to quit. But if there is a will, there is a way. You can take help of a psychologist/doctor and with an expert guidance you will gradually be able to quit.
Yes and that would lead to lack of self control then addiction would take place. If any gambler really wants to stop gambling then he has to control himself though will not just go like that but the determination must be there to quit gambling. Those who have been gambling addict and left gambling do not like to go back again because they know how they suffer before leaving the gambling habit. And as for me I am a gambler but not chronic gambler and I am not addicted to gambling.  But to quit from gambling is just a determination.

Op I must tell that there is a big change of Ethereum price after the ETF approval of the ether spot approval. Before the ETF approval of the project, Ethereum was $2,800 or $3,200 and since when the Ethereum spot ETF was approved, the price has not come down to $3,800 which is a good move for the coin. And if anyone is investing in altcoins, it is better for the person to invest in long term because the movement of Altcoins is not fast as bitcoin. Lime today I bought bitcoin from someone at the rate of $67,768 and now bitcoin is $68,351 i. Which I have gotten small profit from it but altcoins are not like that. Since yesterday Ethereum was $3,800 and till now it is still in that price. So  tia better for the investors to plan for long term.

If you read the OP you'll see I have suggested reporting to mods already. Please read before replying to avoid rewording what was already said.
I read your content and I made the suggestion base on the subsequent comments and not really from yours. And I also read the link in the Op and saw the comment of the admin over there. And I don't think we can delete post by ourselves and that probably the caused of that op. And that's why suggestions are made.

I somewhat agree with this part. In addition, it's not easy to find altcoin wallet which are open-source and let user have access private keys.
In my research about wallets, bitcoin is the only wallet that does not have any other coin wallet. When I checked MEW for Ethereum, I saw other wallets in the MEW but I didn't see it like that in the bitcoin wallets I have use. Such as Electrum, bluewallet etc.
This is MEW interface with other Blockchains. This is the quality of open Open Source with other projects. And another differences are the PoW and the Whitepaper specifications. Bitcoin made their very clear for all to see.

Technical Discussion / Re: Which blockchains are the fastest?
« on: May 28, 2024, 04:38:07 PM »
I think that these networks must be tested before we can say that they are the fastest. If the block size is large and each block is mined after about 3 seconds, the blockchain will be the fastest, but in terms of security, you need more than one confirmation to say that your transaction is safe.
Therefore, the term "fastest" must take into account the block size, network congestion, and the number of confirmations necessary to say that a transaction is secure.
You have spoken well, I was surprised to this ranking because the last time when I was trying to use Solana the network was congested and that lasted for about 3-4 months and here a network that was congested for all those months is the number one in the list. And I also made research on the fastest Blockchain and the op is right. I will not dispute about the fact on bitcoin because bitcoin network is not fast. And the position with Ethereum is good. I think this can also make the developers of bitcoin to sit up and clean up their blockchain so that the network will fast. We have to test the network as users so we can know which one is the fastest. +karma.

Sorry for that terrible experience, but it sounds like people behind that seminar is either aim to rip you off or cannot do their job properly
Yah that was we noticed after the seminar. Those people we full and well prepared to scam us and they succeed. And they are not doing it alone but they used Church leaders and Pastor to execute their plans. And people would thought that the program is genuine and making to attend and they really rip us all. And the people were more than 5k that attended seminar.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What Altcoins Do you have?
« on: May 27, 2024, 10:13:19 PM »
Yes i also think bull session coming. Many people holding many Altcoins. I also have some Altcoin. We saw last bull session Altcoin given us good profit. So i am also holding some Altcoin. I think future bull session we will be huge benefited.

XRP, Dot, Pbr,  ltc i am holding and we know there are many Altcoin available in cryptocurrency market. If we collect proper Altcoin then we will be benefited there has no doubt.
After the approval of the Ethereum Spot ETF, the price is on fire shooting up to the next All Time High and if anyone is interested to invest in altcoins I suggest Ethereum for both the short term and long term. I am not yet a holder of any altcoin but I wanted to invest in Ethereum or Solana but their networks were congested so I didn't at that time but now that the transaction fee has reduced, I can invest but not ready yet.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you rely on Crypto Currencies?
« on: May 27, 2024, 09:46:15 PM »
The thread was created since December 04, 2020, 07:18:19 AM and that time till now there is a very big different. According to the op there were many cryptocurrency projects as of then but now it as double the number as of then. And if you want to know, people have used bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies to achieve many things. Mostly this recent All Time High of bitcoin was tremendous year for bitcoin because a lot of people who invested in bitcoin make profit and make crypto as income through trading and short term investment.

This is a nice information but Windows OS is much more easier to use and install than others Operating Systems. In the year 2020s, there was a seminar I attended and according to the instructions from the instructor, all the participants must have a system, and normally I was not a participant, it was a cousin brother recommended me to a pastor, and he came and hired me to use my PC, and he gave me small amount of money to pay transport. And we went there. To attend the seminar we paid $50 and reaching the seminar hall, we were asked d to format or change our computer OS to Ubuntu, and that was the first time I heard about the OS. And they were the only people that had the software so foe them to do it for us, we are to pay $30 and we paid. And the installation of the Ubuntu os took 4 to 5 hours, and the system that the ram is small and slow, it took all day of 24hours. And the whole process was nonsense and finally the seminar was scattered. So now most of them to rechange the Ubuntu to Windows OS is a problem and from 2020 till now most of them are still battling to change the Ubuntu. Why I am bringing all these because the most popular Operating Systems is Windows.

But from what you are saying that is real truth because the number of viruses displaying in windows systems is alarming. If there is any other good and easy to use Operating Systems then it is better to use that. Here in Africa we use Windows 7, 8, 10, 12 and 13. And Windows XP.  And from the beginning of my cryptocurrency journey I have not used computer to store my coins but phone. Linux is not popular here in my location.

Can we report topics like this and a mod delete the bumps? DO nothing?

I think the user should be warned and he should always delete the old bump before posting another one...
The issue is I don't think everyone can modify/delete a post. Only certain ranks may be enabled for this option.
What about reporting the old bumps to moderators to delete before bumping the thread and the moderators in the forum are very active to take any action reported to them because when I see that thread, all is bullshit. Then another way again, he can even tell the admin or the president to clean the thread for him before bumping it.
