One of the newest additions to ForkDelta is BitcoinToken (BTK). This new token has been getting a lot of press recently and is also promoted as a decentralized currency that is community focused. You can see their announcement here of being added.

One of the newest exchanges in this new realm of decentralization is a Fork of the existing EtherDelta exchange called: ForkDelta Most exchanges have the private keys stored with the exchanges itself, but the philosophy of ForkDelta is different. Instead, their users keep their private keys, needed to access their accounts, and transact with each other directly, or with minimal help.

So essentially ForkDelta acts as a middle-man platform GUI interface but does not store any essential data except what you deposit in an encrypted smart contract that works automatically and uses the bitcoin blockchain technology which essentially is not hackable.

ForkDelta desires listing to again be easy for new ERC20 Tokens, after many complaints that EtherDelta has made the process very hard. Even any member of the crypto community can suggest an addition of a current token: HOW TO GET AN ERC20 TOKEN LISTED ON FORK DELTA

This is a breath of fresh air in a crypto exchange world that is becoming more centralized, controlled and regulated.
