To the groups you have mentioned I would add a third, those who really want to learn and logically make money. Unfortunately, that group is the one with the fewest users, but there are some. The groups you say are usually the users who leave or abandon cryptocurrencies with a bad taste in their mouths. Without learning and patience they will not achieve much, they will probably be scammed or lose their investments in some worthless and meaningless memecoin in which someone would have assured them they would make a lot of money. That's something that has happened since the beginning of cryptocurrencies.

Every crypto bull run, there must be atleast 1/3 growth of the previous number of people that join the bull run and this number is expencted to continue like that as long as new projects with interest keeps coming and as this number increases with time, more and more scammers keep coming to these new places because that's where noobs without fully understanding of crypto are always based. Sometimes I don't blame the newbies, it's just nature of something people are ignorant about, even outside crypto there are plenty of people that are ignorant of things they used and they get scam.

In my opinion, not only beginners but also old players can often fall into the trap. If you have been lured to a prize, then sometimes the hand speed of clicking is easier, rather than thinking first, so it's not surprising that many people fall into this fraud.
They have positioned themselves as a very profitable business sector, even though sometimes only a few people fall for it, but it still produces results because it is easy to do.
There are no specifics regarding what network to use, but usually the network that is easier and more well-known and has cheaper gas costs will be their target.
