"Beware: The Kineko.com Scam - How I Lost $250,000"
« on: June 08, 2024, 03:44:26 PM »
Since December 2022, I've been a patron of Kineko.com, plunging into their world of online gambling. My preferences leaned towards sports betting, particularly the European football leagues, where I immersed myself, churning considerable volume through the casino's virtual corridors. During this half-year period, my wagering stakes underwent a dramatic escalation, from $10,000 to a staggering $20,000.

Despite a rocky start, with losses plaguing the initial four months, fortune seemed to smile upon me in May 2023. Riding on the coattails of a fortuitous winning streak in football, I harbored hopes of withdrawing a substantial portion of my $250,000 balance. Alas, my optimism soon fizzled into frustration as I was confronted with a string of excuses from the Kineko management.

On the 23rd of June 2023, their developers dropped the bombshell: our data provider was failing to process payments as promised, embroiling us in a protracted legal battle that could stretch on for 4-6 excruciating weeks. Their proposed solution? Open a secondary account for betting transactions while the primary account languished in withdrawal limbo.

Their flimsy apologies and reassurances of better service with a new sports data provider did little to assuage my growing ire. In response to their thinly veiled attempts at shifting blame, I fired back, refusing to shoulder the consequences of their mismanagement. With clenched fists, I demanded accountability, proposing a structured payment plan to settle my dues.

Reluctantly, Kineko relented, offering to process $10,000 worth of withdrawals weekly, a pact sealed on the 15th of July. Yet, their commitment wavered, faltering after a mere fortnight of compliance. Hollow promises punctuated by missed deadlines became the norm, culminating in a deafening silence on the promised $20,000 payout scheduled for the 9th of August 2023.

Excuses piled upon excuses until, by the 14th of September 2023, an email arrived, dripping with insincerity and thinly veiled attempts at coercion. In a desperate bid to escape accountability, Kineko's management hinted at settling for a fraction of what they owed, spinning tales of woes with their data provider and the impending switch to a new one.

Undeterred, I dug my heels in, refusing to bow to their pressure tactics, seeking recourse through third-party mediators. As the months dragged on, each promising proposal dissolved into thin air, leaving me stranded in a maze of broken promises and unfulfilled commitments. Even as I grappled with their evasive maneuvers, Kineko continued to lure unsuspecting victims into their web of deceit, spearheading NFT projects while their disgruntled clientele languished in financial purgatory.

Today, I break my silence, exposing Kineko's treachery for what it truly is - a calculated scam preying on the trust of unsuspecting patrons. My patience has worn thin, my demands for justice echoing through the halls of cyberspace. Let this serve as a cautionary tale to all who dare tread the virtual alleys of Kineko.com, lest they fall prey to the same fate that befell me.

I have never heard of that casino/bookmaker, and since I promote one on the BTT forum, I know more or less all the respectable companies in that business. I think you made a mistake because you didn't withdraw your funds when the amounts were much smaller, because in that case you would either have a part on your account or you would have realized that something was wrong.

Anyway, I won't say that something similar wouldn't have happened if you had bet somewhere else, because everything is good while you lose money, but for such significant amounts, most of those online casinos/bookmakers will cause you problems - whether they delay the payment, or they will ask for detailed KYC.

I personally would not give up considering that it is a large sum of money, and if you have all the evidence, maybe even a lawsuit is not a bad option - if you hire a lawyer who will send them an official announcement about the possible initiation of a lawsuit, maybe that will encourage them to pay you what what they owe you.

Never heard of this site before, even if I am not into gambling I still have some names in my mind and this is not one of them although the site is almost 20 years old and I doubt the real purpose of the domain would be to provide gambling services. Because at that time there were not so many online gambling platforms and I checked the name on Wikipedia for confirmation as well. I did not find any gambling platform with the name of this one. So, I doubt if they are for real.

What I think is, you are just advertising them by creating a wrong case about them. You must have talked with them like you will promote them here for some dollars and you also know that this post does not belong to this section of the forum. I hope you will realize your mistake.

It would be a really bad promotion tactic, because who would decide to make a deposit on that site after reading such a negative post? Maybe the story is really made up, but not for the reason of being a good promotion, that really wouldn't make sense.

Yesterday I reported the topic to be moved to the appropriate board, I hope the mods will do it.

Well sincerely speaking I am touched reading through all this you have put here but how do we know you are actually saying all that happened since there is no evidence and prove to show that all these throughly happened.
Is this another way to soil this gambling site if I may because I never see this in this forum and the other forum neither have I seen their ann thread any place around.

This is the beginning of all the lies and scams that have been planned, you are completely blackmailed and forced to put your money in, and then you can't withdraw it.

At first, it looks promising and then takes over all your money and just disappears.
Problems like this happen frequently, but if they do good planning, they won't be detected as scammers at first.
this is certainly a valuable lesson for you to not fully trust the Online platform, keep increasing your bets and then it ends up being a scam.

Despite a rocky start, with losses plaguing the initial four months, fortune seemed to smile upon me in May 2023. Riding on the coattails of a fortuitous winning streak in football, I harbored hopes of withdrawing a substantial portion of my $250,000 balance.

FOR this claim of yours to have any authority, you would have to leave some evidence. This is just the claim of an unknown person on the internet.
I'm sorry for your loss, if that's true. The amount is certainly worth making an effort and engaging all legal means to get your money.

I've seen accusations in Bitcointalk regarding failed withdrawals, and there's a pattern in all of them. "All of them are having a problem when they're trying to withdraw huge amounts of money."

Because of this pattern, I already said to myself that I will not store huge amounts of money into an online gambling casino because of these accusations. $250,000 is a huge money and like what others said, filing a lawsuit against them might help you get that money. Well, if all of what you said are true then I hope that you will get your money/winnings back. If it's not (having some doubts since you just created a new account for this to be posted), then we don't care I guess because after all, the website isn't something that I've seen already.

I understand where you're coming from and appreciate your perspective. It's unclear if you're expressing doubts about the engagements with Kineko or just sharing general skepticism. I want to reassure you that we are committed to pursuing this case until the very end. Rest assured, we are determined to see this through and ensure that all necessary actions are taken to resolve the issue.

It's not a matter of scepticism, but of a lack of evidence. Without that, everything you stated is just the story of an unknown person on the forum, it is not enough for any of us to draw any conclusions. Most of us have seen many baseless accusations and attempts to damage someone's reputation.
If some newbie were to present himself here as a representative of kineko.com and claim that nothing is true about what you are saying, who should we believe?

You said you've asked helped from 3rd party mediators but have you tried askgamblers? It's the first website I checked after reading your post and found that there are also pending cases against them. Link https://www.askgamblers.com/quick-search/complaints/1?q=kineko Your case doesn't appear there.

Visited Bitcointalk, but I did not receive any clarification.  :(
Bitcointalk is not a small forum, and this sounds like you said to use google for more info and clarification.

Probably this:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5495661.0
and the complaint on casino guru:
https://casinoguru-en.com/kineko-casino-player-is-experiencing-continued-withdrawal

Taking into account that they agreed to a payment schedule with a known mediator and then they accused the use of breaching their terms and not paying a dime on the agreed plan, you can safely call them scammers!

OK, thanks for the links.
Now the whole thing looks different, I don't know why the OP didn't put the links immediately, even if only to this BTT thread

I believe you can post your thread link without any issues even if you're using a new account. As long as it doesn't look like phishing websites (you use a link shortener known for scam ads, for example) it should pass with no problems. You can also re-post the evidence on this thread to make your accusations carry more weight in the future. If they have an account on this forum, it should help us tag him too. Hopefully, you can get your money back, even though the chance is slim.
