SOLONA Plans for Launching Second Smartphone Mobile

Now I read news today that Solona team is looking to launch another smartphone which will be cheaper in price (first one was more than 1000$) and also hardware will be also changed.

After I read all the replies on this topic, I still have the principle that the value of Smartphones from Solana coins is very expensive.
For me, who only works in a factory for 1,000 USD, buying a smartphone is very expensive, I can't recommend it to myself or my friends.
Maybe for me a smartphone worth 200-250 USD is still acceptable, but if the smartphone price is above 250 USD it is very expensive, this is about my personal availability of money, not just the features of the smartphone.

Practicality right? what is the use of so expensive phone when you are just using this for social media and some sort of browsing? for me that is just impractical and I am not for buying such expensive .
I remember having my first I phone when its downgraded, meaning I purchase my first Iphone6 when the latest one is Iphone 10  and for you to know? I bought as second hand coz the brand new is still expensive .
My phone now is Android amounting 150 dollars and I am contented lol

The last time I check the newly improve Saga phone that will be launch will be worth more than $1k, how much airdrop are they going to give that can cover for that amount to buy the phone.

What is the intention of the team regarding these. Buying a mobile or any other device (if only it is give any unique service) is never a good investment. IF they want to charge $1k for Saha phone, then I can only wish them good luck, as sales not only going to be low, only employees that want to look good in employers eyes, and real fanatics will buy it. People say its components cost around $150. It has an Android OS, which isnt costly. They dont have specific software, that can cost $500. If they boast with built-in security wallet, then people will buy hardware wallets like Ledger or Trezor instead, and on a change will buy a more popular mobile instead.

In my opinion, when the price of Solana dropped below $10, it was a great time to invest. Despite temporary network issues, the project team continued to develop, attracting investors back. With the airdrop provided by Solana, no one can provide a guarantee because when there is a program, everyone who buys a cellphone from Solana gets an airdrop. There will be FOMO, and many people will be eyeing that cellphone, but the developers from Solana will also, of course, consider where the exchange will make the coin price. Solana goes down or not, but what is certain is that the developer will not provide guarantees regarding the airdrop program, and the developer is very careful when making decisions.

Why would anybody need one though? It is unclear how long will the support last, if it ever has any to begin with. If a secure element that protects your seed is the reason, I'm sure it exists on other devices too since it mainly relies on the feature of the CPU instead of dedicated hardware, IIRC. So yeah, I'm not going to buy any luxury product like this since I can buy a cheap mid-range phone if I ever need one. Not to mention the shipping is way too long for a product that might face its end of service within one or two years after it was launched.

What do you think, The new phone will also success like Saga?

As far as I know, the Sagaphone price was reduced to $600 shortly after release. Some media wrote that it was because the demand for this phone was low.
As for the new phone from them, I think it will be more successful than the first one. Last year, the Sagaphone became hype because of airdrops, and it seems to me that there will be a lot of people who want to buy a new phone from Solana because there will probably be airdrops for the owners of this phone as well.

That is another shot for Solana to improve their names but the sad part is their  network being shutting down for how many times now?
is this the market that we must understand safeties though i also trusted SOL for some time but I am always looking for safe outcome.

Let's be honest for atleast this time and let Solana knows the truth, they don't need this phone that was set to launched. The previous that was sold was expensive but upon watching the reviews and other platforms, it was evidence that the phone is not worth it, the phone camera is very poor, the processor is wack and other parts of the phone and now they want to launch another one again but this time worth $1000 and I ask myself, how much is iPhone 13 pro selling right now? This phone is not worth the hype.

Instead of them wasting another resources, they should better use it on their network that is always going off for some minutes. It's a shame that fastest blockchain has gone off more than Ethereum that everyone is trying to shame for it's low transaction speed and high fees.

Whats an opportunity when Solona price was dumps below 10$. Back to back network degrade lost the trust of investors. Everyone was thinking that it could be next Luna but team doesn't care of panics and continue devolping and afer one month SOL back to it's feet and investors back to buy SOL and start supporting.
