Title: Which coin do you prefer to hold for more than a year?
Post by: Domithra on May 24, 2018, 10:35:39 AM
I'll go for Lympo (LYM). Although LYM is not part of the first 100 coins on the coinmarketcap, it has the full potentials of increasing its value on the market as new implementations are fixed into its health promotion app. Giving it a year, i can vouch its success in the cryptocurrency industry.

I'm holding Waves to eternity  ;D

But considering other coins less famous, I'll go for long term on Cindicator (CND) and Skychain (SKCH).

There are many promising coins that are not included in the TOP 100 coins on coinmarketcap, but have great growth potential. For example, I advise you to look at Helbiz and IPSX, they have a good team and a strong community that are developing. But these are not the only coins that are worth keeping for more than a year to get a good profit.

the question is not the amount of growing that might be possible... the question is? if you buy ETH now do you think you can have x10 or x20 or x30 or even x100 in 1 year?? doens't seem possible because the value is already high, while for other coins it is possible  8)

I follow fresh projects and I suggest to read some about Nebula Network, it's decentralized storage cloud with emission mechanism tied to the supply in form of computational power and disc space. Thanks of it it's rock stable and independent from BitCoin - it's first cryptocureency like that. It's a solution for investors fears and finally cryptocurrencies can break into mainstream.

some believes that it is the perfect strategy in order to earn more profit. It is sometimes appropriate to apply if the holder of the specific coin know the next target price of the project dev. Risky but it should play the game with the strategy.

I keep a lot of different coins, but now I'm aiming at buying additional coins: EOS and Helbiz (HBZ) to increase their volume in my crypto portfolio. EOS is promising and its price will grow in the next few months in view of the growing interest in it, and Helbiz is a longer investment that will show profits closer to the middle of 2019 with the launch and development of its product.

There are only ethers and some empty coins. It is my opinion that the ether is good because the coin cannot be sold, and it is not valuable. It can only be put. It is not a good time to invest. I expect that the middle of next year will be a very good opportunity. Bitcoin prices will certainly be much lower at that time.

There are many promising coins that are excluded in the TOP 100 coins on coinmarketcap, yet have extraordinary development potential. For instance, I encourage you to take a gander at Helbiz and IPSX, they have a decent group and a solid network that are creating. In any case, these are by all account not the only coins that merit keeping for over a year to get a decent benefit.

Many coins in this market simply did not have time to prove themselves and therefore did not get into the list of the best top 100. When the trend changes to a growing one, I am sure that the distribution of coins in the top will change radically.

It was last year bitcoin hit its very high value worth $20,000 and now it's dropped by around $4,000, so i guess these time is not really bad to start make an Investment with bitcoin and try to hold in long term.

If you invest for a year, then Bitcoin and Ethereum are in my opinion the best cryptocurrency for investment. Now Bitcoin costs about $ 3,599, and it can grow at any time to $ 10-20,000. But remember that you can lose all your money if you make a mistake in the calculations. Therefore, I do not advise you to invest in one cryptocurrency and you should not invest all your money, better part of 30-40% of their savings.

There is one big reason for me to hold it 1 year or longer. Why should i pay 40% taxes on governament if i can hold it longer then 1 year and pay nothing? At least, here in Germany you must pay 40% taxes for every penny you win over 600€

Yes, I completely agree with you. LIM is like bitcoin, but more modern, and more convenient. It is a pity that it is not very valuable in the market.

if I still choose ethereum (ETH), because this coin has many uses, especially for sending tokens (fee) and the development is also good because it is often used to make new tokens. ETH is also ranked second from the top 100 ranking

I will choose coins from BCNEX because BCNEX has a vision and mission that is very good for the future.
The Exchange platform also runs smoothly and can trade normally like any other exchange.

Then many events developed by BCNEX such as XRP , RET , TRX , and Harmony events.
Please check all information about BCNEX here : https://www.bcnex.net/

It is very difficult to choose altcoin for the long term or with a duration of 1 year.
For the new altcoin which has the potential to rise is QDAO, maybe many people already know about this project and as I have seen, this project has always been successful in selling out their tokens when IEO takes place

Coin for hold for more than a year seems like a strategy. The strategy takes on more importance than the value of the coins when the smaller priced one’s are your choice. The same strategy will also work for Tron,Stellar,Cardano and other.

I have Waves and ethereum, there are many more smart contract coins that I have like etherZero.
I can't predict the price will rise in the future, but I am sure that if smart contract technology continues to be developed and more people are using it, then it is definitely a long period of time and projects that have real products will always last and wait for the right time to see the price going up

Eos is a coin that I have been holding for a long time, there are lots of altcoin that I have and I hope I don't miss any of the latest information from the project developers.
New coins are still the choice of many people to get quick profits by trading when the coins are registered in the crypto exchange

I am holding Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, and Binance coins. These coins have been proven their quality and popularity for years. I'm not afraid to hold a year or even more than two years. I suggest to everybody to hold a long time only for trusted coins.

Holding a coin for the long term, of course, we have to carefully select it. I personally better choose the coin that goes into the Coinmarketcap 100 list. The best coins we have to choose and if you choose the wrong coins, maybe the coins can die. Ethereum and Bitcoin will be the best option for investing.

I'll go for EOS because i believe of its potentials and also because of its high liquidity thats very important in the ecosystem. if the EOS progress and momentum will retained i'm pretty sure that EOS price will be skyrocketed just like Ethereum when the smart contract innovation was first introduce. I believe that more and more platforms start using EOS Blockchain nowadays.

I'll go for Lympo (LYM). Although LYM is not part of the first 100 coins on the coinmarketcap, it has the full potentials of increasing its value on the market as new implementations are fixed into its health promotion app. Giving it a year, i can vouch its success in the cryptocurrency industry.
I chose BNB, my reason is that BNB is a very good coin, where the price of other BNB Coins actually goes up. I am optimistic that within one year the price of this Coin will be very high.

Im going to stick with bitcoin. Bitcoin will stay and will never go away. All altcoins are not guaranteed that they will stay in long term because some of the projects are left behind because their CEO stepped down due to some reasons therefore there is no guarantee that most of the altcoins are worth holding more than a year.

LOL. there are many tokens i am interested in but the dangers ahead proves otherwise.

LYM? is it really good? In my opinion, it's better to hold a coin based on price. Whether in 1-year prices will rise or not. In my opinion, LYM is good in terms of the use of coins, not price. Maybe many will use LYM coins, but it doesn't affect the price.

For now, you can freely choose altcoin for investment, xlm, bsv, eth, xrp. Better to focus on altcoin which is often traded. Don't buy lympo. I mean, you won't get much profit if you buy a token. Buy coins.

I only hold ETH. not because I don't trust other altcoins. but I just want "All in" on ETH. In 2017, ETH prices reached $1,400. Especially later in 2021. It will definitely be more than that. That made me buy a lot of ETH.

Don't depends on altcoin. Make reverse all altcoin into BTC or if you have money buy BTC more for future because when market goes up BTC make high jump that does not another coin. So one and only believe on BTC.
