Vitalik Buterin addresses ZKasino’s misuse of ‘zero-knowledge’ in $33M scam

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin said the issues with ZKasino were evidence that the term “Zero-Knowledge (ZK)” has gained enough prominence in the industry to attract misuse by fraudulent actors.

Ordinals are Runes are certainly overpriced, and they are not even worth the fees that people are paying. How come the fees goes from 30 to 1300 sat vB, and after 3 days back to 30? makes no sense to me. Why would anyone mint runes at 1300 fee rate?

A lot of naive people will lose money for good.

Was it really a rugpull, or is it yet?
The coins are staking at Lido, it's not under their control but you can still give them the benefit of the doubt until they really run with them, which I think it's going to be the case but...  still scratching my head on legal actions on a self-entitled decentralized protocol, the irony!

Well technically nobody can claim your ordinal or rune, the is no scam/rug pull in this, you're just buying something with no guarantee, much as collectibles.
Waste of money but no scam in legal terms.

But with so many questionable action they did, i expect only few investor would actually give them benefit of doubt. And it also bring question about profit from staked ETH.

I get your point, but my quoted statement actually refer to abuse of term "zero-knowledge".
