I feel like it wasn't really underestimating, no team that beats Liverpool 3-0 would be underestimated, plus they are at the finals for a reason, they beat all their opponents till there, which means that they are good enough to be on the finals so they are not to be underestimated. Like I said, its purely about aggression, playing full field aggressive pressing offense means that unless you find a way to put the ball ahead, they are going to attack you. Italians have a mean mean defense, and they know it works. Look at how great they have been in the last two years at European competitions, the Italian style of football is making a big comeback.

The reality is that we can't all feel very protected and safe at all times, I get that sometimes we may, but in most cases we can't just feel that way at all times. So that means even if I can hold it this time around, who knows maybe next fall I won't be able to. The diamond hands of one fall, could be weak hands of another. Plus we should remember that most of these are just stop loss as well, and just orders on the market too. So all in all, I believe that between people who just can't take it, and the automatic things that sell it, we are not really that shocked to see it move down quickly, because it also moves up quite quickly as well.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Simple practices to improve trading.

I still quite emphasis on demo trading as one of the best ways. I get that people do not like it, but I have been doing it for nearly 10 years, probably more and it has helped me a lot. I have started demo trading at stocks actually, way before crypto and its really a good way. It allows you to learn the ways and when you feel like you are ready then you can do it. Seeing this many people thinking that demo isn't helpful makes me sad, maybe people are using it the wrong way I do not know, but you should know that its not really that bad and you should be getting something good in return, you learn by using that.

Seems like he is making X his own "payment company" type of thing again. For those who do not know, his first company was X as well, which turned into Paypal, and he sold that company for a lot of money to fund all of this. He is going back to roots again and making X another payment company, meaning that he will work with fiat. If you have been around since his takeover, you will know that people are already making money from it, either from ads or from subscriptions as well, and all of that was paid using fiat and not crypto. I am guessing that he will try to turn it into another paypal, but a better version with "everything app" in his mind.

Well that makes sense, lets say that you do not have enough money to buy a house, but you have about 3-4 thousand dollars, that's not enough for even downpayment and mortgage the rest, its very small in that market. But what you can do is, invest that into bitcoin and maybe who knows you will x10 that, its really not that complicated, we were around 16k, and now we are near 70k, so that alone is a big increase for most. Eventually, when you x10 your 3-4k dollars you will end up having 30-40k dollars, then you can put that as downpayment, and mortgage the rest for 30 years. This way, someone who doesn't have the money for it, ended up having that downpayment all thanks to bitcoin.

Gambling discussion / Re: [NBA] Unofficial Discussion Thread

I always liked Doncic a lot and I would love to see him win a ring of course. Usually players take a few years before they can win a ring, not everyone gets to win a ring right away, and to be fair Celtics has been trying a lot longer with similar group of players and still failed, not sure if Dallas could beat Wolves but I sure do hope so because I would love to see him win. I am on a dilemma though, because I do not like Kyrie all that much, and it would be silly to see him win another ring here, but to be fair my wish for Doncic to win a ring is a lot higher. In the end, whoever wins the ring, it will be fun to see for sure.

That is right, bitcoin definitely leads all other coins and there is reason why its ranked so high. We are talking about something that will benefit everyone all the time. I mean I am not saying do not put a dime into anything else, of course you can still put a small part, but majority of my money being in bitcoin has a good reason, and that reason is that I trust bitcoin more than I trust anything else. Even ETH, which is second ranked and had no scandals for nearly a decade now, and even that still doesn't come close to bitcoin for me. Which is why putting money into bitcoin is still by far the best choice.

Looks like we did quite alright, its very good right now and while there are ups and downs all together, it shouldn't really be worrying anyone at all, its still a quite normal situation without a doubt. I get that some people think that we may have dipped under 70k which could be a bad sign, its really not because we peaked over 70k so easily very recently and that should definitely be a lesson to all, bitcoin can go up very quickly. Whenever it goes down, people worry that it would be so hard to go back up, and then in a single day it goes back up to near all time high prices, which should tell people who easy it is to make a profit.

Just like everyone else, I seriously did not expected this result at all, I am super shocked. A team that did not lose for 51 games in a row all season long, ended up losing 3-0 at one of the most important games they played all season long, maybe the most important one. I mean its football and I kept saying that Atalanta is the team that beat Liverpool to get here, so nothing would be too shocking, but even with that in my mind, I still ended up being shocked at the result. Not that because Atalanta won, that is of course an unexpected result, but something as decisive as 3-0 result is definitely not what I imagined how this game would go.

To be fair, trying to make sure that you can get whatever you want from people and be fine isn't the way to gain votes. And if you dehumanize all these crypto people and just bash them constantly, even if it is not directly Biden that does it, even if its SEC, its during his presidency and that means that a lot of crypto people will dislike the path. Doesn't mean that someone who would vote for Biden can change to Trump that easily, which it may happen too, but more commonly it is known that people just won't go voting and be absent. That would equally hurt and Biden should thank that this was overturned.

It is clear that people are getting hopeful nowadays because back to back we had the notcoin hype and also had 70k+ bitcoin price, which means that there were a lot of people who were excited, and even still are. I am not saying that its going to be all that complicated, but we should try to avoid all of this as much as we can when we are talking about things, I am not saying that we are going to profit all the time nor saying we won't profit ever but just because you are hyped and the market got excited doesn't mean that you are going to find some free money laying around in some twitter influencers posts.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Do professional traders lose money?
« on: May 22, 2024, 08:41:22 PM »
Just recently had a friend lost on ETH long, he did made a lot of money from trading, he did lose a lot of money from trading as well. Things are not that clear black/white in the real world, just because you think that things will do fine, you are not going to get that. Sometimes you get good results, sometimes you get terrible results, you are not going to be all that enticing when you are dealing with all of this. I personally believe that we should consider professional traders as humans just like all of us and not put them on some pedestal above everyone else, they are good, but of course they make mistakes as well.

Thats the thing that people forget about, this dude didn't bankrupted or anything, I have read his response about seven years ago, and not even just recently and he said that he had a lot more than that and kept it, even if he sold it seven years ago that is still a wealthy person, and I am sure that he still keeps some for sure. This dude had tens of bitcoins, maybe over 100k amount, and he used it exactly as intended, as a currency, and made more of it later on as well. Its definitely a good day but I do get a chuckle every time people say "he must regret it", dude not only has more, but the bitcoins he has left, increased in value thanks to his transaction as well.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Joinmarket.net (discussion) experience?
« on: May 22, 2024, 01:40:08 AM »
I just checked their website, for some reason it says account suspended, this is the very first time I am trying to check and I do not have any VPN on, so it is weird to be already banned even before I have ever visited the website. That alone should raise some serious red flags for anyone who wants to use it. Secondly, I went and checked their twitter, and there is nearly zero interest to it, sure the yare not active but you could defend that by saying you do not have to be active on twitter to be a good business, which is right, but if nobody n twitter cares for you and has a community to back you up, then yeah that is not a good look at all.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Bitcoin Hit $70k For First Time.
« on: May 22, 2024, 12:47:06 AM »
Hitting it again activated some idle traders obviously. We have peaked as high as 73k if I saw that right, and dropped to 70k, meaning that some people waited until it reached over 70k to sell, and they had some sell orders there ready to be triggered. Thats fine, means that we are getting rid of people with weak hands who are going to end up hurting the market if they were staying. This way we are going to just have buyers and sellers will get lesser and lesser. Let them sell whatever they want to sell, in the we are going to be the ones who are going to win, and we will do a lot better with time for sure.
