Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is Bitcoin Too Expensive For Me?
« on: May 23, 2024, 06:29:28 PM »
We should really be not making ourselves that obliged on buying up a whole coin specially if you are someone who doesnt earn that much. So it would really be just that normal that you would be buying with parts or in fractions on which this is something that will really be that be focusing into if you are really that serious on trying out to accumulate Bitcoin.
It wont really be necessary for you to have a whole coin but its not bad on making it as your goal considering that supply of Bitcoin is really that scarce.
Getting 1 whole coin is really that something a good achievement at the same time a good investment of course.
Having one whole coin let alone bitcoin is quite an achievement,
but if you buy gradually from a few years ago it will probably be faster because the price a few years ago was very cheap than it is today.

I may not reach 1 BTC at the moment but I have a few more coins like ETH for the long term as well.
It all depends on the ability to buy and not force to continue buying as you say.

This exchange is not totally without KYC verification, but you can use Tier one only with entering any name you want (this is not my recommendation).
For this you have limit up to $700 daily trading I think, and you can increase it later if you send them documents for verification for higher tiers.
There are also some restricted countries, so it's better to check that out.
The maximum limit of $700 in a day without KYC in my opinion is enough for me.
Instead of having to provide personal data, documents to verify for a higher level.

This can be a good alternative if there are indeed many sellers from my country and also recommended by others.
But this will be my personal experiment.

Many times it is seen that we over post only to increase our account rank but there is nothing to get excited about the fact that our account does not rank up due to the age of the account.
If that's the case, then just enjoy the process, account increase cannot be done instantly.
I have an account since 2016 and until now I was only active when the mixer campaign came to this forum.

Now you just need to fill in the post activity to be more and more active in the forum.
Don't just post if you only follow campaigns, actually this forum account will be an investment for the future when the account is managed properly.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: How to do basic research?

After that, read their whitepaper, and make sure that you copy random paragraphs from it and search it on Google to see if the content is original and hasn't been copied from somewhere else. Last but not the least, keep an eye on their social media handles, see how active they are and how much engagement they get from their followers, ec.
Now these methods don't seem useful enough, because white papers can be blinded easily using ChatGPT,
even creating a crypto project will be very easy now.

Of course, the most effective way is AI against Ai, and of course any writing made by Ai will be easy to know.
There's a lot more that needs to be researched about projects, about how teams work, whether teams are doxing or projects that are transparent enough, all have to be known.

As you know, very lately I started doing airdrops and fortunately, I have started making some money doing airdrops. Exchanges also offering web3 wallets these days and I am using those exchanges to farm web3 airdrops as well.
Are you referring to wallets like Binance Web3 wallet? I used them once, don't remember whether I can export my seed or not. Even if I can, I don't feel comfortable with the risk of them storing my seeds on their end. Why not use a wallet like MetaMask if you plan to hunt for airdrops? Is it because of the airdrop requirement? I installed multiple web3 wallets on my browser and I can use them to hunt airdrop just fine.
Some airdrops do suggest using a designated Web3 exchange wallet.
like OKX or Bitget who have a lot of airdrop events for their Web3 Wallets.

But to hunt for other airdrops, I myself don't just use web3 wallets generated from exchanges because of security concerns and private keys they might also hold.
it is safer to generate your own Multichain wallet using Metamask or other wallets or using a Hardware wallet which is certainly safer.

Exactly
Let's look at their difference from another angle
Gold is a protection when economy and stock markets slow down - they call it anti cyclical asset,
whereas BTC correlates with stocks.

BTC moves like a leveraged stocks ETF on steroids

If you're trying to guess BTC's future moves, try to predict the stock markets' future moves first.
And in essence all of them are correlated with each other, gold becomes an asset that will not be affected by inflation or deflation, Gold investment is considered safe or risk free for ordinary people who want to invest but do not want to take risks.

and BTC is influenced by many factors, especially the policy on interest rates carried out by ETFs and the regulation provided by the SEC.
But behind it all BTC has been able to reach ATH extraordinarily to date, printing many billionaires from Bitcoin.

There is much better p2p trading alternative for Binance that can work without kyc verification with some limitations.
This is called NoOnes.com and it is getting very popular, volume is increasing every day, but as always people should be careful of scammers.
Thanks for the reference, I just found out about this noones.com, and it is true that the volume is increasing every day and there are many sellers from my country.

Payment options also vary, can be via bank transfer, E-Wallet and others.
It can be a good alternative to P2P without the need for KYC anymore.

But that wasn't my point. I was pointing why people still using centralized exchanges and how these exchanges attract people with their promotional offers.
Offers and some promotions that are given make people interested in using it, but it is not recommended as storage.
I won't be hypocritical because I also use Binance as my trading venue, but the storage of key assets is certainly in the safest Hardware wallet.

Some exchanges provide protection to their consumers when there is indeed a hack or something like that with appropriate refunds.
Like the SAFU implemented by binance, with these funds Binance will guarantee the user's balance will be guaranteed.

Daily trading forces us to risk our assets every day, so for those who cannot analyze well, daily trading should start with trial money only, because I see many beginners fail to make a profit, forcing them to leave the crypto space early before explore many other things.
In the end, many are trapped and lose money when day trading, even though it is very risky if you cannot read the market and cannot analyze, and also financial management also needs to be done properly and precisely.

Psychology will be more in play, if a beginner does this, I am sure they will experience panic when price predictions do not match.

However, for those who are already skilled at trading, it is usually easier for them to make a profit, so sometimes we see them able to survive using the money they earn from trading.
Those who are already professionals and understand how the crypto market works,
will only take advantage of rapid price fluctuations to take profits.

They also understand how to manage their money so that when the strategy does not work well,
there are still backup funds that can make things improve again.

LOL

There was a discussion here earlier about the Coinomize Android app, do we have anyone here who has used their app for mixing, can they share their experience?

If someone has already written about it, I would be grateful to see the reference.

The app runs via the normal domains, so no big difference.
You can use your mobile browser or the app, with the app you don't always have to enter the domain.
I also installed the Coinomize App and there are no issues whatsoever on the app even though it's still V1 and there is no update at all.
Maybe some special updates for mobile use can be done, to make it more responsive.
Very helpful with using the app for me, as it is easier to access without fear of getting into phishing domains etc.

I am not sure how many people are actually using this app, but is there a way you could add simple Tor switch on your Coinomize app?
I know several crypto wallets that have this Tor switch function, for example Unstoppable wallet, Stack wallet, Trezor suite, etc. and it works very good for masking IP addresses.
Yes, it may be necessary, as an optional to switch the normal domain to a Tor domain for various reasons.
Because some obstacles such as normal Domain blocking by the provider may occur.

Thanks Julerz12 & Coinomize
It doesn't feel like this campaign has reached 20 weeks, a success for Coinomize.
And this forum seems to have been invaded by Coinomize signature participants,
in almost all threads there are participants with Coinomize Signature

I am one of the participants in the Notcoin airdrop, and I have withdrawn my Notcoin from Bybit. They had some issues with the Ton blockchain, which caused a delay in deposit. In compensation, Bybit distributed 26 Million dollars to customers' spot accounts. I used to be a centralized exchange hater, but I am using a couple of them.
I also follow the news about Notcoin and indeed Bybit is quite problematic so there is a delay in deposits, But compensation worth $ 26 million is a big compensation and it's proof that Bybit cares about the problems that happen to its users.

But with regard to storing money on centralized exchanges it will have some risks, such as what happens to bybit or on other exchanges and Even I have experienced problems with some exchanges when I want to withdraw coins that I have, it was suspended and in the end had to contact CS then within 48 hours Coins can be withdrawn to my personal wallet.

Such risks make centralized Exchange a non-recommended place for long-term storage, because we do not have full control.

Trading depends on the method we use, when we apply the daily trading method, if we don't have much experience it will make it difficult for us to make a profit. But everything will be different when we trade with long-term methods. That way, I think the trading we do will be a little safer.
The method of day trading or long-term trading depends on the ability to trade.
All types of trading in my opinion will be safe and profitable, but it depends on how someone masters the trading method used.

The day trading method is indeed faster and forces us to know how to analyze and understand market conditions, know when to enter and exit to make a profit.
I prefer day trading or scalping to make faster profits, but I also apply long-term trading or Hold some coins which is good for the long term.

Currently, I think investing in crypto is something that has more potential to gain profits, even though many people don't realize it yet and still choose to invest traditionally in gold. Bitcoin is the best gift in my life, because as you said, this is the most beautiful currency that no one can control. Buy and hold for the long term we will get big profits.
Exactly, with cryptocurrency we can get very high returns, sometimes we can even profit up to more than 10000%. It all depends on our patience in holding cryptocurrency assets for a long time. Also make sure we hold potential cryptocurrency assets.
And vice versa, because we as cryptocurrency users must also be aware that the risk of loss is also very large because crypto assets are very volatile.

Buying bitcoin and holding it for the long term will provide a fairly good return when the purchase is made when the price is below the last ATH as it is currently still in a bear market.

In addition to bitcoin, some potential crypto assets such as ETH, BNB, SOL, LTC etc. can still be a pretty good choice.
You can also check out CMC's list of top cryptos to decide which crypto assets are the best.
