Meme Coins / Should I Hold My FUD?
« on: May 14, 2024, 07:44:04 PM »
Hey guys, I need your opinion on this token I was keeping an eye on since last year. In December, I participated in FUD airdrop and although my hopes weren't particularly high at that point, I racked up some FUDs...

Fast forward to a few days ago, there were news of listing on CEXs and it got me thinking if I should hold what I got and add more, or hit the sell button?

The crypto community can be a place where you meet lots of enthusiast who are just beginning their journey in the space. While there are forum which act as cushion for soft landing and asking experienced veterans questions, platforms also play their role by creating an enabling environment for new users.

So when I saw Alltoscan, I kinda remembered when I started crypto with both FOMO and FUD 😅. But checking out services it offered and how prioritizes security with advanced measures to safeguard user data it could inspire confidence in new users.

Do you think better knowledge about DeFi and crypto in general could help transaction folks into crypto? Plus, Is Alltoscan a worthy addition to investment as they will be listing their token soon?

User engagement plays a pivotal role in the ever-evolving world of cryptocurrencies. With data from "SImilarweb", ICO Analytics was able to shed light on the shifting preferences of crypto enthusiasts across various platforms in April 2024.

After going through it, here are the key takeaways in my opinion. Binance, despite being the leader with 75 million visits, faced a -26% decline from March while Coinbase and BYBIT both experienced a significant drop of -31% and -21% respectively.

The biggest gain was experienced by Bitget, with an impressive +11% growth increase in web traffic in contrast to the negative trend, while the steepest decliner was KUCOIN with -39%, highlighting the volatile nature of user trust.

As exchanges adapt and enhance security, attracting and retaining users remains a challenge.

What is causing this significant decline though?

As blockchain technology and cryptocurrency are growing immensely, there has been a significant move on the part of developers to incorporate other real life activities. Having my little garden at home, I kinda wanted to know more about LandX Finance when I came across it yesterday...

It describes itself as a blockchain protocol that aims to introduce RWAs into the world of DeFi through Perpetual Commodity Vaults. With all the fancy words and terms, I wondered if farmers are going to be benefiting from such projects?

Who benefits more, the farmers that owns the RWAs or the crypto investors? Can farmers then directly invest in their RWAs? Will it be ethical?

Crypto Exchanges / Why do CEXs value TV so much?
« on: May 01, 2024, 05:41:15 PM »
Naturally, when there are good opportunities to trade every trader is inclined to do so but sometimes there seems to be more incentives to trade... Often times I see CEXs like Binance, OKX, Bybit , Bitget and more offering traders extra tokens when they trade up to a particular trading volume . Yesterday was a trading competition on the 4th exchange; where users could trade BTC/USDT or ETH/USDT on the spot trading from a daily prize pool of up to 500 BGB.

Personally, all these incentives are cool and are added icing on the cake if you can find a good entry and exit point. Cause the whole objective of trading is to end up with more value than you started right?

My curiosity stems from CEXs emphasis on TV though, why are they so important to them? Is it for bragging rights or where do the TV advantages set in?

Meme Coins / Does Good Luck Play a Role In Crypto?
« on: April 26, 2024, 06:10:56 PM »
Generally though, trading or investing in crypto has it's risk and more often than not, it's always better to learn before you start... And, every now and then there are fellows who are very good at speculating and knowing which news are going to affect trade and otherwise.

On the other hand though, I've seen some people only trade when a particular seemingly abstract condition is met. Like back then, a lady on X said she only open trades when her cat is indoor and she seemed to get good trades no less.

My curiosity about the whole Good luck thing was actually fueled by a Japanese memecoin for good luck Maneki coz I was curious if people still lean in that direction these days?

Plus, if you had to choose one, would you rather buy something that claims to bring good luck or something else that claims to bring bad luck?

LOL... So after your choice from above, does it stem from belief or instincts?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Do you need to spend to earn?
« on: April 25, 2024, 03:20:18 PM »
Just some few years ago, crypto was a fringe niche that people barely noticed but the growth of the community has been really remarkable. Innovations like spending crypto is something I see as long overdue coz the hassle of swapping and P2P can sometimes feel unnecessary... Like all those times the P2P merchant delays the payment and your heart beats just a little faster until the funds get to your account and ready for spending...

Recently I came across a crypto card by BlackCard and it got me thinking of possibilities. The biggest take away for me was it's offering of up to 13% CashBack. While I'm exited with cashbacks like this my skeptism is if you always need to spend before you get benefits? Nevertheless though, are there similar cards like these?

According to recent stats, the boxing industry is worth billions in US dollars and has a global community of 50 million so i wasn't supriced to see RTF joining the web3 community. So while I was on the news page, I came across Ready To Fight, a social media platform designed for the global boxing community.

My curiosity is, what percentage of the boxing community are already into crypto and what percentage can this bold step by the founder Oleksandr Usyk actually appeal to? I have to add though, RTF has backing from boxing legends like Mike Tyson, an athlete who has influence well beyond the boxing sphere.

Do you guys have an idea of similar projects? and how much did their communities adopt them?
