The stablecoin Libra, already with the new name DIEM, which is Latin for "day", has problems with launch again. This month, it was finally planned to be released after receiving the necessary permits from the Swiss regulators. However, the problem appeared of a completely different kind. For some time now, there has been a company in England called DIEM, which also operates in the digital asset market and intends to protect its copyright in this name.

Please check the main DIEM website, there is no up-to-date information and it tends to just die.
I am very confused to support it because it is really difficult to choose.
On the other hand, I support cryptocurrency, but on the other hand, DIEM is like just playing with our feelings as cryptocurrency lovers. Bad !

For some reason, many expect something out of the ordinary from this stablecoin. Libra / Diem will remain under the scrutiny of regulatory authorities. Zuckerberg promised them that this coin would not be associated with Facebook in any way. So far, only this question interests me. Otherwise, it will be a regular stablecoin, of which a lot has already appeared.
However, it looks like we will have to wait again how the new issue with its release will be overcome.

Zuckerberg's stablecoin has some kind of continuous streak of bad luck and obstacles. After the DIEM double was discovered, the use of this name is almost impossible. It would probably be better to go back to the old name Libra. The emergence of a third name for the as-yet-defunct stablecoin would be very confusing. It was previously stated that this stablecoin is due in January, with ten days left until its end. What will Zuckerberg do?

Facebook & Libra have never responded to this issue, they don't seem to want to resolve the copyright dispute, or they will come up with a different name for the stable coin. So will Libra's plan to launch and apply stable coin to be delayed indefinitely?

So far again nothing has been heard of any movement to launch the Libra / Diem stablecoin. Apparently, another problem that has arisen with the name of the Diem token already on the cryptocurrency market is very serious. I don't even know what the team of this yet to be released stablecoin will do in this case. Its release was planned for January, but it ends, and no news on its launch has been heard.
