Do all of you see and hear the additional buzz about these two doggy tokens... I dont mean" noise".... I mean multiple sites and YouTubers just in the last few days talking about DOGE and SHIB... something behind the scenes happening that I am missing?

We know that some month ago Dogecoin prices was very low but after Elon supporting Doge price has too much increase. Also we are see that SHIB token price has increase when Elon make a little tweet about SHIB. Doge and SHIB both are similar project as my opinion but i like SHIB and also i hold some on my Wallet.

DOGE really has no value in the crypto world, but it is the perfect tool for celebrities to promote the crypto market without fear of prosecution, because DOGE itself is a joke.
However, the rise in DOGE price created a wave of meme-coins, SHIB was born from that wave. And SHIB price has gone up like crazy because many people believe that in the future SHIB will also bring big opportunities like DOGE.

Both of them have proven to be darlings of the exchanges because they have brought them volume and revenue but to me they are extremely risky because both coins serve no real purpose and are created just for fun.

Sold my 15k dogecoin a few months ago and now regretting.

I think that their real purpose is fun, and as a matter of facts, FUN had got it's purpose, and that is to make people feel excited. And as you may known, joke, excitement is good for life.
As for the market risk, i also think that the same risk associated with other Cryptos are all the same risk on all cryptos, and there is no exceptions.

@OliveFox I don't know where you "heard" that, but I wouldn't give it any credibility, Doge's only potential is what Elon Musk says on Twitter and what his army of followers does. As for SHIB I find it curious, it does not seem like a great "project" and although I bought a few million (I spent $100) a few months ago I do not think it can be taken very seriously. Anyway I have to admit that the developers of SHIB have already done much more than the creators of Doge.
