Hey guys,
I am sure you all know Bitcoin's position among cryptocurrencies. Not only is it the largest crypto platform in the world by both market capitalization and coin value, but Bitcoin is also the original cryptocurrency that started it all. The price of Bitcoin has been swinging up and down all year, and some gamblers think if the price is so expensive it would be difficult to get profits.
How about you? In your opinion, what's the best crypto to gamble with?

What do you mean? Do you mean the best coin to use in a gambling site? If so, I think the best coin to use, is the coin that has a low transfer fee. It can be XRP, TRX, or other coins that have a cheap transfer fee. Well, Bitcoin or ETH are good coins, but when they have big transfer fees, it is not comfortable to use.

for me a good coin or token to play gambling is one that charges a low fee such as BSC, TRX, DOT and others. I also agree with @alltalk that bitcoin and ethereum fees really make players uncomfortable when doing WD or DEPO.

The most coins to use for gambling are Bitcoin and Ethereum. Although the transfer fees of these coins are rather expensive, they are available on every gambling site. So, we are not confused to use them on various gambling sites. Each gambling site that supports crypto must have them. While other coins such as XRP and TRX aren't available on every gambling site, so we cannot use them.

it's true that XRP charges almost zero fees to its users, but it's very rare for gambling sites to provide XRP coin options because there are few enthusiasts. hopefully more gambling sites will provide XRP options for gambling players on their sites.

Yes, not many exchanges provide XRP as the option to use crypto coins there. But I think it will be available on many exchanges in the future. Yes, XRP has a cheap transfer fee. I often use XRP to send my crypto assets from an exchange to another exchange. Very comfortable to use XRP, I believe other people also think the same as me. That's true, maybe only a few gambling sites that provide XRP or TRX, but it doesn't mean impossible to have it. :)

I'm very specific on transaction fees, I'm picking Tron, Litecoin, and XRP this is the first thing I looked at when signing up to a gambling site if they accept other coins besides Bitcoin, Bitcoin is the traditional coin to use on every Cryptocurrency gambling sites, but it's not everyday that you can send Bitcoin especially when you want to deposit and play right away.

Agree with all above. Choose any altcoin that is cheap to transfer, because it will be very sad to spend all the winning on the fee. Litecoin is good for that. Dogecoin seems ok, but some exchanges charge a lot of fee for withdrawal (if you deposit from exchange directly). Careful with Ripple, as sometimes wallets charge 20XRP for wallet activation.

IMHO NAno is a great option when it comes to fees since their basic fee is 0 thus there was an attempt at clogging the network with huge number of small transactions thus the dolution devs came up with was prioritising transactions that are coming from wallets with some nano on them still usually its under 5 sec which still is great

I have never tried Nano so far because only certain casinos that also only accept this.
Mostly, platforms will accept top coins for their transactions.
Is all fee of Nano really 0? Or only in some certain network? If that is really 0, exactly that is actually a good option but rarely used

In my opinion, the best cryptocurrency for gambling is Tron. This is because a very low fee is required to transact with Tron coin. And its price makes very little movement.

Tron is good because it ofers low fees and can be used also to transfer usdt in Tron network. The fee is lower than using ethereum network.but so far, I cannot find many gambling sites available for Tron.
Well hopefully many more will also provide this coin and network.

I would go with any coin whos blockchain is quick and cheap. For example yesterday I've made a deposit in BTC, waited about 5h until deposit is confirmed. During that time, all my wish to gamble has disappeared. Now waiting for 7 hours for withdrawal.

There's no doubt that Bitcoin is the best coin for gambling, it was even one of the first use case for it. In the beginning you need just to deposit to this crypto based platforms and then withdraw it to your wallet in a flashed. Now, it's very different, there are KYC and other info that you need to give to this casinos.
In any case, another good alternative is stable coins, deposit is almost instant.
We might be looking for other coins to gamble because as we have seen, the transaction fees for Bitcoin are quite high.

Do not mix up gambling with investment. Gambling is only for entertainment purposes. Currently, the Bitcoin blockchain is very crowded and the fees are quite high. Not suitable for instant deposits. You can check that on Mempool (https://mempool.space/). I think there are other alternative options available which are cheaper and faster than Bitcoin right now.
You are using a centralized platform with KYC for gambling. It doesn't make sense to use decentralized coins to keep your privacy safe as it has been already compromised. One last thing, Gambling is not a way to make money. It's not an investment. Gamble responsibly.

With the way I am seeing this discussion, I think the op is diversify the discussion to invest instead of gambling, however, I don't use Bitcoin to gamble because I am still trying to hold more that I can afford to lose.
Meanwhile, in gambling, a lot of gamblers are using their coins to gamble but I don't, I really prefer to use fiat currency to gamble, instead of me to use Bitcoin to gamble I rather prefer using some altcoins that are not worth it.

I don't know what the OP tends to achieve by asking what coin is suitable for gambling. But since you're asking I would not pick Bitcoin because of the high transaction fee and longer time it takes for transaction to be confirmed on the Bitcoin network, so I'd pick USDT, XRP, TRX.

among the best, it should have been Doge. this is fast and cheap and one off the top coin in the market but this is only my first choice.
since this is about what to use for playing in casino, you may want to use the stablecoin because you are not playing ion casino to invest, you are gambling to win money.

Bitcoin is undoubtedly the best coin for any sort of transaction, but we can ignore the Fact that Bitcoin transaction fees now are quite huge hence making it difficult and less convenient to move around with ease so Bitcoin right now wouldn't be the best choice for gambling, you could better still try using other stable coins, such as the tether and it's likes

BTC and ETH but we can't neglect their fees. So to me coin I think would be nice for gambling due to low fees will be TRX(Tron) and doge they are both good and among the main tokens even LTC still good because I've use it in gambling before.

OP I think if you were to be specific, then it would have been a direct answer but however there are lots of coin out there which are very okay to use but when it comes to the areas of popularity, speed, accessibility and utility value coins fall into these categories which makes them unique in their own ways. Currently some of the coin are facing network congestion which is having a side effect on their transactions and activities with backlog of transactions to be confirmed. So for the now gamblers and casinos would prefer using coins that are less expensive in transaction fee with fast confirmation so they could receive their funds very fast and do whatever they want to do with it.

I usually gamble by Bitcoin because Bitcoin is the best coin for me and trusted. I have lost faith in unique altcoins because I don't trust any other coin except bitcoin, altcoins disappear from the market and investors run away with wealth. Because I have been gambling for a long time, I usually gamble with Bitcoin. I basically made some income from gambling but I had losses in the beginning.

Apart from gambling which destroyed my family,economy and time, I also had to go through tears and struggle to raise my child alone.
Maybe I'm just guessing that a good coin that is widely circulated in gambling is a coin that has a lot of supply and has a large market cap, like the TRON coin and DOGE coin.

Of course bitcoin is the best coin to gamble then when we come to altcoins it is Ethereum and Solana and Litecoin. These are the coins one can use to stake. And really the transaction fee of bitcoin is too much so for someone to use it to gamble for now is not possible. Therefore the other coin I mentioned can be used to gamble t this period of time. Or one can use fiat.

But not every casino accept those altcoins. XRP, dogecoin are not accepted by every casino definitey. Want quick and cheap transaction. I suggest to take a close look to USDT on Polygon. Accepted almost everywhere. Fees are around 5-10 cents. Minumum withdrawal fees are low also. And you wont lose much on a future convert either. Imho this is one of the best solutions right now.

There are many coins you can use in gambling. Among these, you can get the most benefits by using XRP, TRX. But there are many gambling sites which do not allow gambling using these coins. Bitcoin is not best coins for gambling with my platform I used because higher fee withdrawal and better use altcoin with lower fees transaction, I know with bitcoin price potential in the future but gambling isn't platform for long term investment and winning the casino game withdraw it to be fiat. My platform casino acceptable with many kinds coins from XRP, TRX, ETH and LTC has lower fees transaction for withdrawing.
Some time bitcoin get problem with traffic withdrawal transaction and take longer time than using altcoin just few minutes or some time withdrawal process instant.

If I had to gamble using coins I would like to use Doge for my gambling activities. Choosing a coin is not just choosing the best coin on coinmarketcap for something like gambling but we also have to take fees into consideration. Our local wallets and exchanges supports Doge so for me it is best. The only problem is that were getting our funds freezed if funds came from gambling. So yeah not gonna try it. 😅
