As we all have seen ripple has been quite strong these past few days and with all that it has done over the past months compared to most other currencies and the launch of xrapid is actually starting to show in its price.
There is so much talk about ripple taking over bitcoin and being 10$ what are your thoughts on this?

yes the achievement of ripple is very remarkable in my opinion and this shows the ripple is able to compete, and about the price of ripple itself I am sure in the future ripple will increasingly show that its achievements so far will produce results, if it reaches 10$ it will be very interesting I hope it will come true.

Ripple is just another altcoin. If your expectations if for it to become or be more valuable than a bitcoin then you are going to be dissapointed

Ripple hit bitcoin in price it wouldn't happen. But in marketcaps it would be. In my eyes ripple are very valuable than bitcoin. It real currency but not decentralized. Some day ripple will use around the word for transaction.

I don't really agree if Ripple can be called the next generation of Bitcoin. Because Ripple and Bitcoin are far different and cannot be compared. Ripple uses a banking system, while Bitcoin uses the Blockchain technology system. From there it's different, therefore RIpple won't be able to be like Bitcoin.

I never think Ripple can beat Bitcoin and the price will become $10. In my view, it is not a reasonable thought. Bitcoin is so strong coin with its high caps and transactions, and it also becomes the king of all crypto coins. People love it so much, and it seems to continue for long time.

I think Ripple is the best cryptocurrency many countries are afraid of cryptocurrency regulations although Ripple is the unique cryptocurrency because it's fully bank system although still bitcoin is dominating the cryptomarket and whole crypto place so no one can't replace the bitcoin.

I don't think this can't be achieved, but for it to overcome bitcoin, constant development has to be out in place on the network. Though crypto is unpredictable so I can't for say if it will overcome bitcoin in price but am definitely sure it will go a long way.

I don't think so but ripple is the successful centralized cryptocurrency currently it attracting the lotof investors attentions because it's performance is very better in cryptomarket although it not equal to the Bitcoin infact my prediction in the next five years the other popular decentralized crypto will be replaced the third positionin market place.

I think ripple has no chance of getting around Bitcoin. Although this coin is really very good, many people do not even consider it as a cryptocurrency because of its centralized nature. sorry, but I don't see it happening... ripple is just another alt that offers fast and cheap payments on a centralized network... nothing new here that would allow to overcome btc... actually ripple would be more a competitor against other like Swift or ACH
in my oppinion there is also another matter that might keep it from not rising... it is aimed for bank use and banks have more than 1000 ways to start their own blockchain services and fast/cheap transactions (they are already developing/testing it)

Ripple is a good altcoin but there's no way it would be next bitcoin, seriously. Bitcoin - the iconic of cryptocurrency must be a decentralized coin. Meanwhile XRP is famous for its centralization. There are many other factors but decentralization is the most important one when considering a cryptocurrency. Obviously, Ripple can't meet this requirement.

Im my prediction bitcoin cash will be the next bitcoin.
Bitcoin Cash is full of high Hyve schemes and Roger Ver's FOMO which is very strong but not based on solid evidence for Bitcoin Cash to replace Bitcoin.
Ethereum also has a lot of fans, it is very difficult to replace Bitcoin because Bitcoin is pure like real real gold in this world that was born from nature.
Moreover, Ripple is not recommended for the long term because every month Ripple is always thrown away by the main Jedd McCalled wallet!

Today in cryptocurrency market everything is possible. Like yearn finance does today with 3x higher price than bitcoin in about 2 months. But for my point of views about ripple it will not surpass price compared with bitcoin.

The moment the problems with the SEC are over and the court has a verdict, depending on whether it is positive or negative for Ripple, the price will go up or down. If the verdict is positive for Ripple it is likely that the value of XRP will increase in anticipation of new developments and partnerships, if on the contrary the verdict is negative for Ripple it is possible that many investors will sell.
But it all depends on the verdict and the market situation when the court makes a public statement with the outcome of the lawsuits.

Ripple has no intention of XRP taking the leadership position away from Bitcoin. XRP was not created for that purpose, XRP was created as a banking product so that it can be used inside and outside banks around the world, although it is in Japan that they have achieved the most partners, that's why I don't think it's fair to make a comparison between Bitcoin and XRP, they were created for very different things.
