Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Ethereum price Nov.14
« on: November 15, 2018, 02:29:07 PM »
Though Ethereum broke below the immediate support at $188.35, it did not slide through the Sept. 12 intraday lows of $167.32. Currently, the bulls are staging a comeback, having pushed prices back above $188.35, which shows demand at lower levels.

If the ETH/USD pair sustains above $188.35, it is a bullish sign as it rejects the lower levels. On the other hand, if the current pullback attempt is met with another round of selling, then traders can expect the fall to extend to the next lower supports of $136 and $110. Though we like that it has not made a new low today, it is still too early to go out and buy. Therefore, we suggest traders wait and watch from the sidelines.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Bitcoin price Nov.14
« on: November 15, 2018, 02:27:02 PM »
Bitcoin crumbled today as the break below the trendline attracted sharp selling, plunging prices to new year-to-date lows. As prices broke below $5,900, it triggered our stop loss suggested at $5,900. Currently, the bulls are trying to push prices back above $5,900 but every small pullback is being met with a fresh wave of selling.

If the bears sustain prices below $5,900, the next drop should take the BTC/USD pair to $5,450 and below that to $5,000. Contrarily, if the bulls stage a successful pullback, the digital currency might attempt to climb above the trendline once again.

At times, the first move from a consolidation is a fake out. Hence, the next couple of days are very critical for the digital currency as it will dictate the next direction. If the bears exploit the breakdown and sink prices lower, then it is best to sit out until the decline ends. However, if the bears fail to capitalize on the fall, it shows strong demand at lower levels. Therefore, we suggest traders wait for the next couple of days, as it will give us a better clue about the next direction.

Cryptocurrency Price Speculations / Neo/USDT
« on: October 22, 2018, 06:19:18 AM »
NEO celebrated the second anniversary of their mainnet launch and the market cheered the event by pushing the price higher by 5 percent in the past seven days.

The NEO/USD pair is looking weak as it is trading close to its year-to-date low of $13.60337627. There has been no visible bounce since early August, which shows a lack of buying interest. A break of the support levels will be very negative and can result in a drop to the next support at $6.47815308.

On the upside, NEO will face a stiff resistance at the 20-week EMA that is close to the horizontal resistance at $28.49944165. A break out of this level might start a new rally to $43, and above that to $60, where it might face resistance from the 50-week SMA. Above this level, the move can extend to $100.

We believe that the traders should wait for a new buy setup to form before establishing any new positions in it.

many people think that ethereum volatility is very extreme, especially when the end of 2017 ago, and reached $ 1500. then fell drastically in June this year.

but some people analyze the growth of ethereum such as Stanislaw, Robert Gebarowski, Ludovico's interest, Pawel, and Marcin Watorek. they concluded that the growth of the ethereum market was equivalent to the oil, dollar, gold markets.

they saw the trend chart of ethereum prices between 2016 and April 2018, and in reality, they saw that the ethereum market created a positive chart.

Ephrata, Washington Imposes Year-Long Ban on New Cryptocurrency Mining Operations

The city of Ephrata, Washington, will halt new crypto mining developments in the city for the next 12 months, Eastern Washington and North Idaho daily newspaper The Spokesman Review reports Friday, Oct. 19.

The recently announced suspension will only affect new crypto operations from being established in Ephrata, while the existing four businesses already there will continue operating. According to Ephrata city administrator Wes Crago, those four crypto operations — including two at the Port of Ephrata, one in an industrial area of the city, as well as one in a residential area — are being relocated at the moment.

The decision for the suspension was taken by a city council vote, with six council members voting in favor of the new cryptocurrency regulations, and only one commissioner, Matt Moore, voting against.

Moore noted that even a temporary ban can pose a threat for the city’s economic development since it puts the industry “outside the city’s expertise,” adding that he does not want to “surrender any economic opportunity big or small.”

Council member Kathleen Allstot clarified that the new ban implies taking a one-year “break” in order to see “see what’s going” in the sphere, as well as to find out how mining fits both in Ephrata and the Grant County Public Utility District (PUD).

Cryptocurrency discussions / Has ICO funding gone to hell?
« on: October 13, 2018, 06:21:33 AM »
ICO Funding was the HOT thing back in 2017 but kinda fell off the cliff throughout 2018. This article showcases a few of the reasons why: https://cryptocoin.news/cryptocurrency/ico-funding-exploded-in-2018-but-fell-off-a-cliff-in-july-heres-why-19149/

Can you come up with more reasons why? Obvious ones are scams, the market fell and, perhaps, people just lost interest?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Buy low sell high?
« on: October 12, 2018, 06:47:16 PM »
So I have seen Coinbase is the main "source" for buying/selling BTC, but I was wondering if anyone has used the method of converting bitcoin to another currency when it reaches a high point, then converting it back to BTC when it is low enough.

If so, what wallet(s), exchanges, etc. are you using? And more specifically, what crypto do you recommend converting BTC to, in this situation?

Any help is appreciated!
