I agree with you mate, Undoubtedly Ethereum is the king of smart-contract innovation, it was created for enterprise use that's why many prominent companies use the Ethereum services but one thing I don't like about Ethereum is the "Gas fee" because if the network is busy the transaction fees will go up unreasonably, for me it was not good thats why I hope Ethereum developer also fix this problem.

Ethereum with upcoming storm of upgrades, pos algorithm and eth 2.0 mainnet is fundamentally at the strongest point ever and all i can say is that it is ready to go parabolic big time, I will not be surprised if it will reach around previous high levels by year end.

While I am considering Bitcoin to be the overall King of Cryptocurrencies, there is no question that when it comes to the smart contract thing, it is Ethereum that is the King. Ethereum has cornered most of the market on this arena and the nearest competitor (is it Tron?) has a lot of catching up to do. The only downside is that due to this immense number of smart contracts, the Ethereum network is always experiencing some clogging and of course a significant upward movement of gas fees -- two things I hate with this network which I am hoping can be remedied partially if not fully with its coming upgrade.

Yes, I totally agree with you.  At a time when transactions on the Ethereum blockchain also increase the cost of gas in transactions and this has been going on for a long time, there is no solution so far.  So is it possible that later in Ethereum 2.0, this deficiency will be resolved?  I personally am also waiting for the answer.

Maybe ethereum deserves to be called the king of smart contracts. because ethereum is used a lot to build a project. We can buy new coins on pre ICO using ethereum.
