But if miners shifted to solar that will be an appreciable step but the solar setup is not cheap it is costly for the small miners I believer big miners can afford to shift but for the small miners, it's hard to afford. I believe this issue will be fade away as time passed.

Indeed, solar energy is not cheap in terms of installation, since it requires a large investment of money, but that initial investment is more than rewarded later. We already know that Bitcoin is not the world's largest consumer of electricity, banks, some military installations, and also some factories pollute much more, but they have always been "untouchable". Bitcoin must improve and get them to stop targeting electricity consumption, which is not only good for the planet, it is also good for the image of cryptocurrencies, that the "bad guys" continue to be others.

I think It is just negative issue to against bitcoin mining. I often heard about it, they said bitcoin mining has bad effect for environmental.
Maybe if the bitcoins minner use solar energy, It is not problem.
I believe bitcoin will exist for along years again.

@legendary1979 the problem is the same as always, money. For large mining pools, the initial investment required to mine Bitcoin with solar energy (for example) is not a problem, in fact it is another question whether these groups want to make that investment or not. The problem is with medium groups and small miners, these groups do not have the money that Bitmain has, for example, but they do contribute a considerable percentage to the hash rate of Bitcoin.

Exactly, and going from electricity to green energy is very expensive at the beginning, although later it pays for itself, that is why it is something that only large mining groups can do. I am sure that many more groups would do it if they had the economic capacity, but as always happens in this world, the little fish is the one with the least chance of getting ahead.
